Everyone is happy, right? Haha, wrong. Sure, someone might look happy, and act happy, and hell, just be a happy person in general. But does that mean they are really happy? No, not really. See, everyone has those dark demons inside them that make them unhappy. The knives in their happiness that hurt day in and day out, no matter what they do. It's something that just won't go away, not matter how hard they try. And quite frankly, it just plain sucks. This dark shadow that hovers over you and tells you bad things that make you want to die is something that everyone has, and no one wants to share. For who, but themselves, could ever have such dark thoughts? That's ridiculous. Like someone else on the planet could ever want to kill themselves. Please

That is what floods the minds of these six teenagers. They all think they're the only one with these terrible demons, these terrible secrets. They all think that they're alone in the wide world of pain, no matter how many people are around, no matter how many people they get close to. It's just their mindset, and they can't help themselves. So, what do they do when they see each other's scars? Or catch the other crying in their sleep? Maybe they aren't so alone after all, maybe there is someone that feels the way they do. Maybe it's okay to come out of the protective shell that they've built around themselves and talk to someone.

This is the story of those teens figuring out just how to let someone else in.

she's never felt like she fit in, what else is there to it? everyone seems to hate her, everyone ignores her. no one even takes care to notice the cuts on her wrists, not even her teachers or, god forbid, her parents. she fails to see the point in living anymore, if she's honest with herself.

fat. fat. fat. each time she looks in the mirror, that thought just ticks through her head. so you can see her ribs, and her hips stick out more than they should. it just doesn't seem like it's enough. it seems like there is too much there. she's lost so much weight, but her 'friends' either haven't noticed, or just don't care.

everywhere she goes, it feels like a thousand pairs of eyes are boring into her. it feels like everyone is judging her, saying something bad about her in their head. and it always feels like something is going to go wrong. it's like the world is caving it. and she can't just forget about it, it's drilled in her head.

so, he likes boys. no big deal right? for the most part, homosexuality is accepted. well, for the most part. the question is, will his homosexuality be accepted? he's heard a lot of people say it's not normal. it's just a phase. so, he covers up and hopes it will pass. at least, until a girl doesn't get it up for him.

not suicidal, at least not completely. he just likes to hurt himself. it makes him feel alive for once on his life. if he can still feel the pain, then he must still be breathing, right? that's usually how it works. so if he doesn't feel like he's living his life, it's time to bring himself back to reality.

he's not really mute, he just chooses to be. and he doesn't need words to throw his sass upon the world. he hasn't found someone worth talking to, and he thinks that everyone in the world is cruel and terrible. he just doesn't want to associate with the human race anymore.
