What was she doing today? She already had a nice morning meal and was feeling very full which was good. It meant she wouldn’t have to go fetching a snack until nightfall. Flicking her wings, she walked silently through the forest feeling unsure of what to do at the moment. She really had no goal in mind and no friends or family to really go to. She was alone. Always alone. As a result she was becoming more and more solitary. She didn’t like being around others to begin with, but now everything she came across was just something to attack or eat. She didn’t know what it mean to have friends or to even have family let alone someone that even cared remotely about you. She thought she found that once, but it turned out to be a lie. A lie that killed all the hope she ever had of actually finding her happy ending or something remotely close to it.
She wasn’t welcome by anyone. Not even her own kind wanted anything to do with her because she wasn’t a pure blood. She hated them and sometimes even despised their very existence. In some crazy world, she would have liked to of actually felt loved or had a place to call her own. Now she was just hopelessly wandering for what seemed like forever until she found her next meal. It was a cycle with her. She would wake up, eat, drink, travel, eat, drink, sleep, and then do it all over again the next day. It wasn’t a way to live and it was starting to really take it’s toll on her. She wasn’t happy and didn’t think she would ever be happy. Happiness was a myth. Something that could never be achieved by anyone and .
Flicking her wings in irritation, she stopped in a small clearing eyeing the dead mossy tree lying on the ground before her. She knew her cave was close. She let out a small growl of frustration at how her life was turning out so far. Her brother would laugh at her if he saw her like this. She was being weak and he would tell her just how much she was turning out like her dead mother. She couldn’t believe they were gone and even though she hated her brother for killing them, she couldn’t hate him fully for it. He protected her when no one else did and he is probably the only person that ever cared about her. Yes, she was brainwashed by him and would probably never ever wake up from it, but to her it was the only thing she had ever known since she was a young adult. She learned from the best and that was why she was the way she was.
As she continued on towards her home, she wondered if she should just head home to her brother. It was a far journey from here, but at least she would have a place to call home there.

Fear slowly settled in the stallion's heart and stomach as he cautiously made his was through the new territory. Wandering into new lands was clearly not one of his best ideas, but nor was taking those carrots from that temperamental black cerynei, but that was a tale for another day. Right now Lambert just hoped he could make his way out of the forest without any problems, or at least escape with his life. It was daylight, but that did not mean predators weren't lurking around.
Lambert was not exactly someone who could blend into the crowd. With his rabbit ear hat and large pink bow he didn't scream "I'M ONE OF THE CROWD!". Then again, a bow was better than carrying around a large tree, or having a tail that could potentially eat him. Now that was something to ponder.
If the tail eats then does that mean they themselves don't have to eat? Or maybe ...do they both have to eat to sur-
"OUCH! OUCH! OUCH!"
Lambert screamed in pain while backing away and shaking his head. Running into a tree isn't the best way to break away from his thoughts, but it was better than running into a kal- oh crap.

Most of the time Alestra usually didn’t let her emotions flare up. She liked to remain cool and collected keeping her anger at bay when she could. She tolerated others, but she didn’t tolerate anyone bumping into her at all. Snarling at the stallion, she backed away noticing his ears and funny tail before seeing something that must be destroyed. That damn bow of his was the biggest eyesore ever. He was wearing it proudly like there wasn’t a care in the world, but no. She needed to stomp that thing into the ground as quickly as she could. What stallion wore a bow anyway? “Don’t you know how to watch where you are going?” She asked clicking her teeth together even though she knew she was already frightening the skittish animal. She didn’t know what he was other then a rabbit? This peeked her interest and she wondered if he tasted like a rabbit too.
She flicked her wings open to give them a good stretch just in case she had to chase this little morsel down. “That bow…don’t you find it..a little girly? Maybe even..a little bit of an eyesore?” She asked the stallion as she took one step towards him. If he ran off, she was going to be right behind him. She didn’t plan on eating him. She was going to enjoy a little bit of a mind game for a while. It might even turn out to make this day a ltitle bit more entertaining for once.
“You know…I eat bunnies like you all the time. You seem to have terrible luck at avoiding your predators.” She grinned showing off her pristine looking fangs and took one more step closer to him. She hadn’t been able to do this to someone else for a long time. Someone especially as nervous as this stallion way, which only made it even better and it made her feel a little giddy. If she even tried to do this with her brother there with her, he would laugh and just tell her to kill the animal instead of playing around with it. He was always like that. Never had fun unless it was killing something off.
This was going to be such a fun day.

Fear continued to cling to the half-cerynei’ heart as the mare started to speak and approach him. He was unsure of what to do. Should he make an attempt to calm her down and show there was no reason to harm him? Should he just remain quiet and hope that her words were just smoke and mirrors? Or maybe he should follow his instincts and run off? Ears pinning back and fear dancing in his grey eyes, he chose to do none of those options. Instead he acted like a fawn away from his mother and just drop to the ground in an attempt to hide behind some bushes. Idiotic? Why yes it was. But it made him feel safe in a way.
“I. Well. I am sorry. I didn’t mean to cause you any sort of trouble, miss!” he shouted why making a sad effort to crawl away, though it seemed painful and impossible to do so.
“Please believe me. It was not intentional. I am just very clumsy and have a short attention span, that’s all!”
Hiding behind some bushes made him look idiotic, but screaming while doing so just made him look pathetic. But really what could he do to a Kalona? Lambert was far from a fighter. He was raised to be gentle by nature, if not also a tad sassy when he felt like it. However, this did not seem like a good situation to throw around any sort of sass unless he wanted to bring more anger and potential pain into the situation.
And the threats to his precious pink bow, no, he would never allow it to be ruined! Who did this mare think she is to threaten his accessories in such a way? Talk bad about his hat, yes, but his bow, never!
In a fit of anger and offence, he rose up from behind the bushes and gave a slight glare.
“Why do you have to threaten by bow in such a way? What has it ever done to you? Yes, I may wear a bow, but at least I’m not walking around with some pig tail things, and ugly looking string ribbon things! Talk about ugly hairdos!”
