The Garden of Edith is within the park just outside of the Rellis Town Square. The garden has a number of sections including different floral sections and cultural sections.

Blossoms were finally fully in bloom and as she laid there under neath the blossom tree, Sasha was wakened by a single peddle that fell upon her cheek. She delicately dusted it off her face and continued to lay under the tree. Placing her finger tips into the small pond that rested inches from her, Sasha had then closed her eyes and focused on the sound of the water and the nature that surrounded her in the Japanese tea garden section.

Derrick was sick of this town. The whole place was crawling with uninteresting, repetitive lives and it was getting increasingly difficult to force himself to stay. Not only that, but his deadly secret only got harder to keep under wraps. The only reason he stuck around this godforsaken town was because of his sister, who was still a student at Grayslake Academy. As soon as she graduated, he'd decided, they would leave. But for now, he was stuck.

But the Garden was one part of town he could tolerate, usually. He almost didn't notice the woman lying underneath one of the trees at first. In fact, it was her slight movement that caught his eye - she was brushing a petal off her face.

"Hey. You know it's going to get dark soon, right?" he asked. She looked completely relaxed, but Derrick wasn't particularly worried about disturbing her. It wasn't totally safe to stick around at night in a place like this, anyway.

(OOC: He doesn't wear the eyepatch, lol.)

Sasha sighed not in annoyance to her knew company but to the fact that he was right about how dangerous it gets at night and in such a beautiful place.
"It is pretty pathetic how people can be nowadays"
Sitting up from her position Sasha locked her eyes onto him while removing her fingers from the pond.
"Seeing that you are warning me, clearly it is understandable that you aren't the pathetic type"

He raised a brow at her. She still had a sort of relaxed look in her eye. Perhaps that's just how she was.

"Maybe not tonight," he replied. It was just ambiguous enough for him - he wasn't in the business of revealing too much about himself, good or bad, to strangers. "Nice garden, though. I see why you're here," he said distractedly, looking around and shoving his hands into his pockets.

Looking up at the blossom tree than down towards the pond Sasha smiled slightly then stood to her bare-feet.
"...it is quite lovely. The only place where I can actually think without anyone bothering me."
She looked back over to the gentleman and smiled again. "Why are you here may I ask? Just taking a stroll or is there a specific section of the garden you fancy?"

He watched her stand and regarded her coldly. It wasn't deliberate - after the things he'd lived through Derrick just had a habit of coming across as a little frosty.

"Just taking a stroll, I guess." He looked up at the sky. It was getting dark pretty quickly. Being a guy, he wasn't too afraid of staying out at night by himself. "I actually like this part," he said evenly. "What were you doing here?"

((OOC: Sure. I should really get to bed as well, lol. I'm RPing in almost every setting now!)

~ Sasha stepped lightly off the grass and onto the brick path that laid through the park. "I was listening to the garden and drifted off into sleep by accident." She turned to him and continued "It happens..Besides since I am stuck in this town for a while I needed a place to stay" Sasha then looked up at the branches of the trees. "..but because of the stories I have heard growing up as a kid about us humans, I found myself sleeping in the trees instead of the grass..." she rubbed the back of her neck and sighed quietly. "..unfortunately I have not yet adjusted to it."

Derrick smirked. She was definitely a little eccentric. "If you desperately need a place to stay, you could try the inn. The one in Rellis is much nicer than the one in Trinity." He would have offered his place but he needed to keep it open for his sister, Dione, in case she wanted to come home on the weekends.

~ "O... I apologize that must have sounded weird and desperate.." Sasha blushed lightly and hesitated at first but took in a deep breath. " I'm not at all accustomed to a humans way of life. I myself am human but I was abandoned as a baby in the forest that surrounds this town. However if I continued you might think I'm crazy." she then looked over towards the tree with a scared look in her eyes.

He couldn't help but be a little amused at that. After all, he knew that between the two of them he was the truly crazy one.

"Try me," he said. Though it was strange that she'd been abandoned, she probably still wasn't anywhere near as dangerous as him. And dangerous was what mattered - not crazy.

(OOC: need to drive/feed cats, will be a little slower!)

~ A little shocked Sasha looked back over at him and hesitated. "...maybe some other time..." She paused for a moment knowing that he was interested in her story and for some odd reason she too was interested in his. "..it is getting rather late and I am curious about this Inn you speak of.." She didn't wanna be rude, she just didn't feel safe in the open after dark.

Derrick looked around. She had every reason to be uncomfortable, being out at night like this. Even if he was around, that didn't guarantee that people who were looking to cause trouble would stay away.

"I can take you there," he said reluctantly. He might as well take care of his good deed of the day. "Follow me."

(OOC: I'll make a new location for the inn; you post first!)
