[ GENERAL PACK INFORMATION ]
Sentinel packs are loosely defined social structures that consist of Sentinels with a common goal or theme. Packs can be familial or mission-oriented, but are usually led by Alphas or Alpha pairs. Any group of Sentinels can form a pack structure; however, official packs can qualify for territory distributions, familiars, and even pack-oriented edits. If you wish to qualify as an official pack, you must post in this thread to be approved. Currently, packs do not have official cert symbols, but this is subject to change.
General Guidelines:
- Please read over the front page and any roleplaying/lore information before creating packs.
You do not need to qualify as an official pack to roleplay or recruit as a pack.
You are free to create sub-locations under the primary Hearthside regions; however, do not stray outside the existing world map and please keep in mind the existing climate and terrain of Hearthside regions. Although you are free to create geological features such as caverns, caves, and watering holes, lakes and rivers are strictly prohibited.
Territories between Sentinels often overlap as food is scarce, but sacred territories (usually for nesting) are fiercely guarded.
Nomadic/non-territorial packs exist, but you still must submit a general area that pack members usually find themselves.
The following locations are prohibited from use as territories: the Riverpath bridge between the Hunterlands and the Winddroves, the Hearth, and the eastern Shifting Desert.
In order to qualify as an official pack with defined territories and pack symbols, the pack must fulfill the following qualifications:
- At least five members of the pack, each owned by a different user,
A completed Pack Information Thread, which must include the following:
- 1. Designated Sentinel positions. At the minimum, the Alpha(s) must be designated, even if there are no other positions in the pack.
2. Designated territory. Please see above for territory requirements.
3. Some form of mission/purpose statement, even if vague.
