Grayslake Academy is on the coast of a large island nation. Down the road, there's Rellis Town and the Village of Nox Trinity. It's a drafty old castle and considered one of the finest educational institutions at the high school level. Students are required to maintain a 3.4/4 GPA in order to attend.

Allan casually sauntered up to the large castle of a school and smiled, taking in the awe and glory it was renowned for. "So this is my new home?" He asked looking it over once more. He already had it all planned out, keep the grades up, meet a nice girl, and speak to the head of administrations about starting a boxing club. To say the least he might be pushing it quite a bit.

Dione ran across the lawn at top speed, hair whipping out behind her. She was already abysmally late to class for the second time this week, and the Molecular Biology teacher was going to be very upset, to say the least.

Clunk! She hit Allen in what she considered to be a high-speed collision. "Ugh!" She'd fallen instantly. Hurriedly shifting positions, she hoped he hadn't seen up her skirt. Wincing, she frowned and looked to her side. "Watch where you're standing!" she hissed, glaring.

Allan felt a bump behind him, as though someone had thrown something at his back. He hadn't wavered whatsoever but he had a feeling that whatever had hit him hadn't taken the collision so well.

He turned to see a girl sitting on the ground, trying to push down her skirt. He heard her spit out the harsh accusation at him and laughed a bit. "I'm sorry, I'll make sure to stay out of your way miss wrecking ball." He said jokingly as he offered his hand to the cute girl.

After a moment of deliberation, Dione reluctantly took his hand. All right, so he wasn't so bad. Just in the way. She brushed herself off, still frowning, and then glanced at her watch and heaved a sigh. "I don't know why I'm even bothering," she muttered. She'd already missed half the class. There was probably no point in going anymore. Besides, if she skipped, she could avoid her teacher's catty remarks about her constant tardiness. Looking up again, she noticed the stranger was still there.

"Hey, what're you still doing here? Don't you have somewhere to be?" Okay, maybe she was projecting her frustration onto this guy a little. Can't be helped! she thought, crossing her arms over her chest.

Allan looked to the girl, then to the school, and finally back to the girl before responding. "I have first period out, I don't have to go to school for about another hour actually." He said with a bit of a smile. That was the thing no one would be able to guess about Allan, his grades were just as amazing as his athletics.

"What about you? Weren't you just about ready to take me out a few minutes ago?" He asked teasingly as he finally turned to actually face her.

Her frown softened a little and a devious smile slowly took its place.

"Looks like I'm ditching class for now, actually," she said, tossing her hair over her shoulder. She had a habit of being a bit reckless as a student, but her grades were still good enough to stay at Grayslake. She was also captain of the womens' lacrosse team, so her extracurriculars were strong as well. "Sorry about that," she continued, finally apologizing. "I was in a rush. But... I'm so late, there's really no point in going to class anymore."

"My, my aren't you the little rebel." Allan teased, stretching and popping his back. He heard her comment about no point in going to class and shrugged, his stomach growling as he did so.

"Then how about coming with me to grab some food, I haven't eaten breakfast." He said turning a bit pink as his stomach grumbled once more.

"Glad you mentioned it," replied Dione. "I haven't eaten either. But what I really need is some coffee. We can get both at the cafeteria." She stretched as well, glad to have her morning free all of a sudden. Skipping class unexpectedly was the best. "But before we go... Do I know you?" They hadn't introduced themselves, and she thought the boy looked pretty unfamiliar. It wasn't a huge school, and Dione was fairly popular. She'd thought she'd known everyone who went to Grayslake by now.

"No you don't." Allan said with a wink. "Now lets go." He said as he began the walk to the cafeteria. He could only imagine what the vast assortment of foods they had must be like.

Dione frowned, following him. "So are you new or something?" she asked casually. Who did he think he was, running into her without so much as an introduction? Even if that wasn't exactly how it had gone... she insisted upon knowing everyone. The newcomer was no exception. In fact, people usually insisted upon knowing her.

The cafeteria was pretty empty since it was early in the day and most students were already in class. She grabbed her coffee and rejoined the boy. "Cafeteria coffee is always so bad," she complained. "At least the food is all right."

"Yup." Allan answered plainly looking over the very disappointing assortment of toaster waffles and burnt toast until he found a collections of muffins and bacon. He decided his best bet would be a bottle of orange juice and a bowl of cereal and a small plate of bacon. He carried his food to the table and sat across from girl he had just met.

"I suppose that is true, then again I think all coffee is bad." He said with a light smile. He nibbled on the bacon, taking a sip of orange juice every now and then. Allan could eat like a tank but he was trying not to look like a starved animal.

Dione smirked. "Maybe you'll change your mind soon. I hated coffee too, but boarding school can change a girl." She thought about perhaps getting something to eat but she preferred to enjoy her coffee alone. It was more rewarding that way.

This guy was being dodgy on purpose, and she wasn't going to push him anymore. He'd tell her his story eventually. Besides, he didn't know her name, either. She noticed how dainty his manners were and threw an arm over the back of her chair, watching him, a little entertained.

"I suppose it is a good thing I'm not a girl." Allan said, teasing the girl once more. Part of why he was such an amazing boxer was due to how head strong he was. He began to eat the cereal and quickly finished having nothing but orange juice left on the tray. He finished the last bit of juice and began to toss the bottle from hand to hand.

Dione flashed a playful smirk. "Oh, you're not a girl? Now you tell me..." She took a sip of her coffee, watching as he got increasingly rabid. "Still hungry?" she asked. He was probably starved. He looked like the kind of guy who could eat ten times as much as he'd sat down with. Dione, meanwhile, didn't even like eating breakfast. Food in the morning made her a little sick.
