Hey! I'm Kanye (desperately in need of a username change but it's really pricey for me now that I've had so many). I'm nineteen and studying Marketing. I've been roleplaying on and off since I was really young. I also write fanfiction for Dragonlance, Vampire Diaries, Harry Potter, and Batman, with stories for Vocaloids and Death Note in the planning stage. To be honest, how active I am on Gaia depends entirely on how crazy school is.
EDIT: splurged on both a guild and a username change in one night. I am now Saya Mini. Sigh.

Hello! I'm Jay (yes, I'm a girl). I've been roleplaying on Gaia for a pretty long time. I'm 20 and attending college in pursuit of a degree in music. Like saya mini, my time on Gaia depends on how busy my school schedule is, so I'll probably be on once in a blue moon beginning in mid-January.
Types of roleplays that I like: fantasy, supernatural, family, and zombie/horror!

Hey there, you can call me Tea or Judie. I've been roleplaying on and off since I was in middle school. I was pursuing a degree in media arts and animation, but I've decided that wasn't for me and I'm trying to keep my head above water until I get back to school. I usually get on at night, and I'm on till the wee hours of the morning.
I like: Modern fantasy, supernatural, monsters, and magical girls.

It's lovely to meet you guys. Tea, were you interested in a crew position? We're online at the same times, also.
I guess I should also mention the types of RPs I like. I'm into anything with a mystery twist to it, be it traditional fantasy, modern fantasy, supernatural, open world development, apocalypse, whatever - things that involve some mystery or group discovery about a location, foe, etc. are the most interesting for me.

Hiya! Name's Chelsea I've been on gaia since 2008 (I forget when I actually joined) and I've been rping ever since. I am very imaginative since I have been reading since I was a kid. I'm 20 years old and I'm doing the Job Corps program at Deleware Valley in New York. I'm almost finished with the program and I'm sorry but I won't be on very often due to the program but I am supposed to be finished next month so I might be on more often till I get a job.
The roleplays I like: Well I like pretty much anything, but I mainly prefer fantasy and romance.

I am interested, but first I'd like to know what that entails.

Nice to meet you! It seems like most of us are pretty on-and-off with our Gaia presence, which makes sense because we ARE basically here for walk-ins, lol. Please let me know if you're interested in a crew position!
Tea Craft I am interested, but first I'd like to know what that entails.
It would basically mean that you can invite people, kick people out, and edit the guild's basic settings. I don't imagine there'll be a lot of work needed for this one once it's established, but right now we really do need lots of invites sent out (as soon as the crew is established). Should I promote you?
Also, does anyone have banner ideas? I completely suck at Photoshop so I haven't made one myself. If anyone wants to make one... biggrin

I can make one! Although my art isn't stellar. And yes please! I have a few people in mind, but not sure if they're up for a guild. I'll ask around though.

Hello everyone. I'm Eretico (which means "Heretic" in Italian). I've been on Gaia for a while now-since at least around 2008-and I've been roleplaying for a significant portion of that time. I'm generally fine with any kind of roleplay, although I like walk-ins because they remove the laborious process of creating a profile and allow me to jump right in, which I suppose is the the reason why other people like them as well.
Currently I'm in the middle of my winter break, so for the next week I should have unrestricted access to Gaia and be able to participate in this Guild's workings. I haven't been an active Crew member in a Guild before, however, so I'm not 100% confident in my abilities in such a field, but apparently this Guild won't be too much trouble to manage once it's up, so I'm willing to step up to the task.
To be honest, I have had bad experiences with Guild-based RP's because they all seem to wither into total inactivity after some time-and in my mind forum RP's seem more reliable-but I have higher hopes for this one since it requires much less effort to get involved and post. Just so long as members don't mistake the Guild's accessability as a lack of obligation to post.

Hey I'm 0toku c: I am a guy, and have roleplayed for awhile but have some commitment issues when it comes to non-walk-ins. I'm on Winter Break now so I'll be able to be pretty active for now ... we'll see in the future.
What I mean by commitment issues is that I typically will get stressed if I miss too much because then I have to go back and read everyone's post, and that can take forever (in Lit roleplays). I have found that walk-ins cure this malady quite well :3
Roleplays I enjoy: fantasy, romance, lighthearted stuff, inns and taverns, futuristic.

I'll promote you up to Crew, then. I'm really counting on this guild running itself after a while. Being a crew member in a guild that doesn't have a lot of strict rules or application-based admission shouldn't be too much work. I definitely agree with the fact that guild-based RPs get inactive after a while sometimes but that does often depend on a plot or theme staying interesting, and in a guild like this where it'll be basically walk-ins I'm thinking it'll be easier for people to stay interested or want to join.

Story of my life. We're going to get along just fine, lol. You should make a tavern in the RP thread! I love tavern RPs. They're the coffee shop AUs of the roleplay world.
Friendly reminder to everyone to send out a ton of invites! I'm making it so that regular members can send invites as well.
