Welcome to the Marketplace!
This is a place where fans and afficionados can set up minishops of their own, if they wish, or hold small user-run events such as rehomings or contests or giveaways for extra bundles from a breeding.
Rules for Shop Customers:
The Tears of the Moon shop and staff are not responsible for, nor do we claim affiliation with, any of the shops in the Marketplace. We do not own or have access to the art assets or anything else required to fulfill missing or late orders, so Trade at your own risk!
If there are problems that cannot be resolved by contacting the shopkeep, by all means let us know. We will gladly take action to prevent known unreliable or fraudulent shop owners from continuing to practice in our marketplace.
All creative assets (be they written or visual) for shops in the marketplace are copyrighted to someone, even if it is not us. Do not steal art! Patrons caught shoplifting (stealing art) will be blacklisted and reported to the Gaia Mods.
Rules for Shop Owners:
Please continue reading to find the Market Stall Approvals instructions and follow the instructions there. Don't worry, it's not a difficult or lengthy process. NOTE: If you are simply holding a one-off event, like a rehoming or newbie contest for a spare bundle, you do not have to fill out this form! Approval is only necessary for permanent shops.
Shops must be true to the setting (hence the approvals process). Please don't waste your time and ours by submitting shop ideas for laser gun blasters and robot servitors, or anything else that doesn't work within the setting. We are the final arbitors of what does and does not fit within the setting.
If you are caught scamming, violating the Gaia ToS, using stolen art, or receive too many complaints about undelivered/ late work, we reserve the right to close your stall and, depending on the severity of violations, may also blacklist you from the shop as a whole and/or report you to the Gaia mod team. Running a shop is a big responsibility! Please take it seriously!
Any art you use to decorate your shop or sell within it must be created by you, or you must have permission to use it. Art theft will not be taken lightly, and may result in reporting and blacklisting.
Tears of the Moon is neither responsible nor liable for transactions conducted with other users. Any agreements made are between you and your customers. Trade safely, because you trade at your own risk!
You are entirely welcome to hold any contests, competitions, giveaways, you desire within your own shop as long as they obey the gaia ToS.
Getting Your Shop Approved:
Once you come up with an idea for a market stall, please copy and fill out the form below in a reply in this thread.
As soon as we can, we will look over your concept and quote you with a review. If all is well, we will tell you so and you may go ahead and build your shop! If there are some things that need to be tweaked, we will discuss those with you. If you'd like, we will help you figure out how to bring your shop in line with the setting.
It's important to bear in mind that the ONLY things this approval process judges are whether your proposed stall fits in with the setting of the Underhollow world and follows Gaia's TOS. We make no attempt to judge whether the shop will be popular or successful or make you piles of gold.
