Abbi was always in.
Since her arrival at Deus, she had worked as hard as any Trainee could to make her room a safe haven. It was not always successful since often times her room was the place that saw the raw emotions unloaded after a dangerous mission, as well as the things she could not hide from, like social interactions. Quite honestly, she did not mind those so much as it meant actual people paying attention to her, and well, Abbi was still getting used to that. Mostly, that was why she was in her room so often. Socializing was all well and good, but it quickly became overwhelming after a while. Abbi certainly liked talking to people, but sometimes she just had to go back to her room that was quiet and mull everything over.
Which was precisely what she was doing that afternoon when The Mysterious Frenchman dropped by.

Having not realized who it was, the teen happily called back, "Of course I'm in!" through the closed door as she scrambled off her bed and to the knocking. With a grin she swung open the door only to blink at the person standing there. Her smile faded for the duration of two seconds, long enough for her to recall what had happened to them, before it came back.
"Hi Mr. Mysterious Frenchman!" He had never gotten the chance to give her his name, after all. "What's up?" Excited puppy mode: Activated.

Looking healthy and actually feeling healthy were two very different things, but if the Frenchman wanted to think of the girl as healthy, then he was certainly allowed that. Not that she really knew he was thinking that, so it wasn't as though she could legitimately reply to it. So instead she smiled up at him patiently, though her feet did tap out a soft little excited dance. He had been so nice to her and he was so cute with his accent and he had held her hand!
When he smiled Abbi actually laughed, not sure where this bubbly feeling was coming from but enjoying it very much.
"Yeah! I told you my name but you never gave me yours and we spoke French! So you were a Mysterious Frenchman!"

In a fit of dramatics, the girl fell against the doorframe in a very silly manner, on hand limply laid against her forehead.
"I had to make up a whole past for you that was very complicated and drawn out, full of beautiful French clothing and food and Eiffel towers!" With a blink Abbi stood up straight and shot him a very wounded and guilty look.
"Unless you're French-Canadian oh my gosh I didn't even think of that how close minded of me oh my gosh!"

"Dory?! What a cute name! Dorian is really cool but which one do you like better? What's your middle name?" A hand was stuck between them, an offer for them to shake even though they had before.
As for anything being up, Abbi shrugged simply with a smile.
"Oui! Nothing out of the ordinary! Thanks for checking up on me... Are... Are you ok?" Had he been there at the end? He hadn't had to sign his name, so he had missed the big finale... It was probably best that way, he seemed too sweet for something as terrible as all that.

"Of course just for you!" She laughed and waved him toward her, stepping from the door to allow him room to pass into the room. It was as good an invitation as any, but the teen didn't wait much longer than a few beats before she darted out into the hallway and snatched at Dory's arm. With a grin she pulled him into the door and insisted he find an acceptable place to sit.
Since she was still a Trainee, there was little in the way of comfortable repose available in the room besides the bed and the floor, but the bed was at least littered with pillows and stuffed toys.
"Soooooo Dorian Nathan Alexis Côté? Wooooow! What a super cool name! Man I wish my name was that cool!" She scrunched her nose up at him before she laughed and grabbed three pillows from the bed to toss onto the floor. It was her decision on the matter, though she could certainly be swayed depending on Dory's preference.

Her happy expression fell considerably when he seemed so upset by the goings on around Deus and the girl flopped down onto one pillow with a sigh.
"This place is definitely... Not the best for the emotionally damaged." Abbi sat up a second later and made a grabby hand motion to mean that Dory ought to join her on the pillow scattered floor.
"But talking to people made you feel better, right?" A tentative smile peeked out at him before it hid back behind a pout. "Nothing's really gone right since I got here... How long have you been here? Have things been beter for you?"
