Name: Yelena
Race: Alkidike ice clan shifter
hopes to be a Beast Master
Gender: Female
3 Base Traits: Passionate , Intuitive, and Dreamer
Personality: She is a very passionate girl who loves to dream about her future. She has a really bad habit of spacing out and daydreaming. She can lose track of an entire day when she is day dreaming. But she tends to listen to her gut in a lot of her decisions. She tends to let her hearts decide and only sometimes uses her head to make her choices. She is usually right when trusting her gut since she is a bit more on the intuitive side. She can be a bit guarded when she first meets people but once she knows them her emotions are very strong. If you hurt her she will fly into a rage that will take a lot to calm down. If you break her heart or trust she will never forgive you and if you hurt one of her friends run like hell the other way because she will hunt you down and make you regret it. She has a very strong bond with people she loves and will do almost anything for them.

She wishes to find someone who will love her and accept her for who she is. Her day dreams center around a handsome guy who will come and sweep her off her feet. She also dreams about what she will be when she is all grown up. She hopes to one day be a beast master and loves animals in nature since they don't judge her for her mixed blood.

Description: She has some of the green markings of a Alkidike and the antenna they have. She has hair like the Alkidike with a white streak in it from her shifter clan heritage. She had blue tinged skin from her ice clan side and the blue crystals from the shifters. Alkidike shaped eyes with the yellow of the ice people. She has light blueish skin and loves her green markings. Her ears are pointed and long. She keeps her hair long with a feather scarf tied into it to keep it out of her face.

Clothing: A deep blue dress that has slits so she can ride with a dove grey cloak to keep her warm in the colder climate. She has a green belt around the dress.

Accessories: She always wears a feather necklace that her mother left for her. It is the only thing she has of her mother. Also a cuff around her upper arm that has tribal designs on it that she found when she was wondering around the ice. There is a red stone in it with a metal pattern over it.

History: She grew up with her father as her mother didn't want to raise a baby that wasn't a pure Alkidike. She felt a bit abandoned by her mother but her father loved her very much and gave her everything he could ever want. He is a mixed shifter and ice male but leans more towards the ice ways of thinking. He made her his princess and gave her everything she could ever want. She never got greedy or asked for much just wanted a family and mother that loved her. She grew up hearing magical stories about beast masters and decided at an early age that was what she wanted to be. Her father had wanted her to be an artisan of same sort but he finally relented and told her he would help her with her dream. When she was seven she was given a necklace of feathers that her mother had left for her. She put it on and has since then refused to ever take it off loving the feel of the silky feathers. She has always wanted to make her father proud of her and maybe one day make her mother proud of her and not feel she is a shameful thing for not being a pure breed.

The other children pick on her since she isn't pure ice and even some of the adults tease her for her hair and her looks. She doesn't like being picked on it makes her very sad. But she tries hard not to focus on the others who tease her. This is why she daydreams so much since in her head no one picks on her and no one is mean to her.

She is proud of her mixed blood as it makes her something special in her mind. She was wondering around one day and heard stories about the Alkidike and what they meant. She decided then and there to get some of her hair done in the dreads to show her strength and her heritage. When she first got them she was treated as even more of a freak but some thought it was interesting to see how she was so strong to chose to do something that would make her even more different. But she doesn't care they make her feel happy and special.

At first her mother did want a baby and one that was different. She thought it would be a baby made with love and would make her happy. When the child was born she was happy but as she saw how others looked at the kid and how they treated her and Yelena she realized it was a mistake. She left and wished she hadn't had the kid.

Yelena loves the necklace because it is something her mother left for her. Some way to hold onto her mother. She doesn't like that her mother never got the chance to know her. Yelena hopes that someday she can get to meet her mother and show her that she is worth knowing. She holds into it because in her mind it symbolizes the idea of what her mother could have been. That maybe she will return and be pleased that Yelena has the necklace and cherishes it. It goes along with her day dreaming and just gives her hope for the future. She also keeps hold of it because it connects her with her Alkidike heritage. She also thinks it is very pretty and that helps her want to hang onto it.

Yelena doesn't want others to effect what she does to herself so even though she is teased for her dreads she wants to have them and so she gets them. They are her way of showing her strength and her pride in what she is. If that makes her an outcast then that's just how it has to be in her mind. She hopes to one day find a place where she can be who she is and not be teased for it.

The other Alkidke she has met have treated her oddly a few have been kind to her and answer her questions about them but most just ignore her a few have been very rude to her and treated her poorly for her mixed race. Some of called her out for wearing the dreads since she is mixed but she hasn't really met that many Alkidke in her life. She would like to meet more and get more answers.

Solo rp 1
Yelena woke up early that morning and looked out her window and saw the sky. It was still dark out there and the sun hadn't risen yet. Getting up slowly and looking around at everything that was in the room. She needed to make sure she didn't hit anything so she didn't wake her father up. Yelena silently got dressed and slipped out of her house. She wanted to go and see the sun rise this morning. It was one of her favorite things to do since she was able to be on her own and see the beauty of nature. The magic of the sun slowly making its way up in the sky and chasing away the dark of the night. Her feet silently padded along the soft freshly fallen snow that coated the ground. She knew this perfect place that was a little ways away from town. It was the edge of a cliff and looked out over a valley where she could watch the sun rise with no interruptions. She had grabbed some food as she left the house and carried it in a bundle. The stars over head and moonlight were enough to illuminate her path as she walked to the cliff.

She smiled to herself and let her mind wonder to happy places. She dreamed of a mother who loved her and was there for her. In her mind a warm gentle hand caressed her face and told her how pretty she was and how special she was. Her mother would say I love you and make everything all better. She sighed as this daydream filled her mind and she felt so happy and warm inside. It would be nice if this was true but she had her father who spoiled her like crazy, so it was ok with her. And her dad did everything he could for her to make her happy. She really loved her dad he was such an amazing guy and loved her no matter what. She sang softly as she walked and there was a skip in her step. She was really happy. She always was at dawn and dusk those two times for some reason seemed to make her happy. She didn't know why but they always did. They were the in between times and they held a sort of magic as the world changed from day to night or night to day. As if the world head its breath for those moments as everything changed. And anything could happen at these times.

She finally made it to the cliff and sat down on the edge to looked out and wait for the sun to rise. She leaned back on her hands and watched the sky slowly start to lighten. And she squealed in delight very excited to see the sun rise up. She really loved this and the colors that filled the sky as she watched her amazing. There was such such a variety pinks, reds, purples, oranges, yellows and blues all mingled together. But then she heard a soft bleating sound. She turned and saw a snowy white creature caught under a boulder. She ran over to try and help it out. Its foot was stuck under neath the rock and she stroked its head. "Shhh little one I'll help you out just calm down." She kept talking to it as she tried to see how to get the rock off of it. The girl seemed to be so scared and she kept talking to the pretty roati to help keep it calm. She didn't want the girl to move fast and break a bone or something else like that.

Yelena pet it and started to dig the snow out from under the hoof. She continued to dig and smiled as the rock didn't fall lower. There was a dip where the girl had gotten her hoof caught and it was a small one only a bit wider than the leg. She dug carefully and made sure that she had dug beep enough then began to work the leg out of the hole. It took some time but finally the leg was out of the hole and free from under the boulder. The little roati scampered out and bounced around. The leg seemed to be fine since the little girl was bouncing around and running. It ran off but then ran back over to her and started to tug on her skirt. She giggled. "Ok ok ok. I'm coming no need to be so pushy." The girl walked up behind her and started to push her. Yelena just smiled and laughed as she walked where the roati wanted her to. "Where is it that we are going anyways?" It just bleated up at her and she laughed softly.

She continued to follow the little white girl as the roati continued to run along. She wasn't really sure where it was going and where it was taking her but she figured it was best to follow her. They were walking up some sort of cliff which was very steep for her but the roati had no trouble with it at all. She sighed picking her way carefully through the snow and sharp rocks. A few times she almost lost her footing or started to slip. But she caught herself each time. The roati seemed to start picking easier routes for her that weren't as neck breaking. Yelena laughed when the little girl kept looking back and bleating at her. "I'm going as fast as I can little one. I've got only two legs you've got four. We'll get there don't worry so much." She grinned and the roati seemed to accept that answer. She continued to follow the cute little girl higher and higher up the mountain. Finally they made it to a flat part and it stopped. Yelena stopped to catch her breath and then turned around. She gasped they were so high up and the world below them looked amazing. She couldn't believe how beautiful the world looked from this high up.

Solo rp 2

Yelena sat down by the fireplace. Last night her father had told her a story about a beast tamer. It was the story he always told her. The one that had gotten her into wanting to be a beast tamer. She remembered how amazing the beast tamer sounded and how it made her want to be just like that. Her father also told the story with such fervor that it sparked her interest. Her mind latched onto that story and from then on she wanted to be a beast tamer. To get to explore the world and see all those different beasts. To be able to tame and charm them. It sounded like a dream come true. Her heart sang with joy every time she thought about that. The ability to be able to tame and charm one of the beasts she had hear about in stories and even seen just sounded like magic. It sounded like the best thing that could ever happen.

Her eyes closed as the warmth of the fire wrapped around her. Her father's family had all been artisans and made beautiful things. They had made her arm band for her. And it was gorgeous but her heart just wasn't in making things. She could do it but there was no passion in it for her and she knew it wasn't for her. It would never make her happy. There was no spark like when she thought about being a beast master. There was the spark and her mind leapt into action. She knew it was what she wanted to be doing in her life. It was what held her passions and instinctively she knew that was what she needed to be doing. Artistry would never make her happy. When she was very little her father would teach her and it was fun but not what she wanted. He always told her to keep trying and that she would learn to love it.

One night he told her the story by the fire of one of the greatest beast masters in the world. That night her eyes had grown huge glowing with a desire to do that. Flames seemed to be dancing in her eyes as the words flowed from her father. That was what she wanted. She knew it in her heart. That night she told him she wanted to be a beast tamer. Her father didn't react well at first. Their family was full of crafts mens and women. No beast tamers and he wanted Yelena to go into the arts to create things like the rest of them. But Yelena knew that wasn't for her. She knew this was what she wanted to do. Tame the beasts form her daddy's stories. To get to see all those different beasts would be what she would do. But her father really didn't like the sound of Yelena running off all over the world going after dangerous creatures. He didn't want his baby girl to put herself in so many dangerous situations just for a thrill. Even with all this Yelena would not be swayed from her desire to be a beast tamer.

Everyday she would tell her father she wanted to be a beast tamer. And everyday he would try to persuade her to do something safer. Something that wouldn't make her have to leave their homeland. But staying here wasn't something Yelena wanted to do either. Staying among the ice tribe just wasn't for her. Not with how she looked. It wouldn't be good for her to stay here any longer than she had to. Her father loved her so much and saw how much she loved the beasts. He couldn't bear to know he was causing her sadness every time he told her no or told her to try something else. After so long of her begging and telling him that was what she wanted he gave her his blessing. How could he not? It was his only daughter who he loved and doted on. He'd do anything to see her smile. And when she talked about being a beast tamer that was the happiest he had ever seen her. A glow and warmth that had never been there before was there when he told her the stories of the beast tamers. He couldn't let that be snuffed out so he started to help her.

He told her every story he knew about beast tamers and charmers. She devoured the stories even asking him to retell her some of her favorite stories. It got to the point where she could recite some of the stories with him. She memorized the parts that interested her the most. She also started to draw out the different beasts she saw and heard about. Her father liked this since she was still using some of the talents of their family. But he could also see her mother in her in her desire to travel and see new things. She loved to curl up by the fire and listen to her father's stories or day dream about all the different beasts she would tame. She began to invent stories about herself and all the adventures. She would make sure she got to have a lot of adventures and find knew creatures no one had ever seen before. That would be the best part in her opinion. To be the first person to ever see a particular beast. Getting to learn all about it and discover what it liked, how it would react to different things, and everything else about it. Yelena was curious to learn how the beasts would interact with each other. Would they be like the people up here? Cruel to those beasts that looked different? Or would the beasts accept those who were different and looked different? She would have to observe that as she traveled throughout the world. She would become one of the best beast tamers out there. That was her dream and she would make sure it would happen no matter what.

Solo rp 3

Yelena walked out to her cliff to watch the sunrise. It was a peaceful morning with no one really up yet. She hadn't slept much there was too much going on in her head. She still couldn't believe what had happened. She had met an Ice guy who hadn't looked at her as if she was some sort of lesser being. He had been kind and sweet. She flushed remembering everything. He had been so nice to her. Inviting her home and all those things he had said. She wasn't really sure she could believe everything that he had said since it had seemed to be so out of nowhere. They had just met there was no way he could mean all of those thing he had said. But still it was nice to think that maybe, just maybe Kiyelt had meant what he had said. She laughed as Aril squirmed to get onto her lap. She reached down to scratch the little one at the base of her horn. She loved the little goat. Such a sweet little girl and always there even if this little one had head butted Kiyelt. She giggled at the memory. It had been pretty hilarious though very uncalled for. Her mind wondered back to his home. It had been such an unusual place and his parents had been amazing. So sweet yet also so silly. It had been such a surreal experience she was half convinced it was one of her day dreams. Maybe she just made all of that up. The family, the boy, the cookies, all of it. But at that moment the broken piece of metal touched her skin. The cold of it and weight of the metal reminded her hat it had all been real. Kiyelt was a real person and had actually broken his necklace in half and given her part of it.

Her fingers absentmindedly played with the broken piece of metal as her mind wandered. She began to day dream about what it would be like to see Kiyelt again. Would she get to? He had said he was leaving and if he left then she'd likely never see him again. This was a big world after all and the chances of running into someone again by accident or randomly would be rather slim. But still it would be nice to see him again and see how he was. Would he be happy? Would he have learned or seen all things he wanted to? She hoped he would and did that would be nice for him. She began to day dream about all the places he would go and all the stories he would have. He wanted to be a beast tamer too. He must get to see so many creatures through his travels. Though he already had a sail scale and such a pretty one at that. She giggled at remembering that little one. It had just grabbed her and not let go. That had been quite the surprise. Yelena had definitely not been expecting that when she had gone out. But it has been very pleasant and lead to an interesting afternoon. Would any of that have happened if Inui hadn't grabbed her? How odd to think that one simple little action had caused all that.

Or maybe day dreams were simply getting more real. That was always a possibility though she wasn't as sure about that one. It probably had been real. She couldn't make up people like his parents. Even in her wildest day dreams she couldn't come up with two people like that. They were just so different from anything or anyone she had known before. Though that wasn't a bad thing. On the contrary it was actually a very good thing. They had been some of the sweetest people she had ever met. She hoped she would be able to see them again. Maybe his mom would make cookies again. Those had been so good. She began to day dream about getting to eat more of those heavenly delicious cookies. They had been so fresh and warm. Almost melting in her mouth from how divine they had been. She licked her lips almost able to taste that sweetness on them again. But the illusion soon passed and Aril nuzzled her wanting attention. She laughed hugged the little girl close. Such an attention hog but Yelena couldn't get mad at the little white creature. Aril was just way too cute to stay mad at or even get mad at. She snuggled her face into the warm fur letting the warmth infuse her skin and cheeks since the air up here was so cold. She snuggled deeper into her cloak to help try to warm herself up.

That was one of the down sides of her pretty mountain view to get to see this she had to brave the cold. Though cold was something she was used to. Yelena hoped to one day be able to sit out and instead of feeling the bitting wind of the mountain to one day be able to feel the gentle warmth of the sun caressing her skin. That would be a very nice sensation. She closed her eyes almost able to imagine such a sensation. She could almost feel the warmth of the sun on her face. But after a bit a very strong chilled wind wiped around her dispelling her day dreams. She sighed and watched as the sun rose up over the mountains. It was why she was out here and always worth it. No matter how cold it was watching the sun slowly make its way over the mountains to illuminate the world was always worth the cold. There was something so magical about being able to watch the warm colors bleed into the darkness and push it away. As if a small child were slowly pushing back curtains to allow the light to filter in. She really loved this time of day. When anything seemed possible, even her wildest days dreams. Like the ones where she would be able to see Kiyelt again.
