Savio paced nervously, he had been planing on doing this for a while now. He had been dating Papaya for four years now but he had never quite manged to get up the nerves to ask her to marry him.

It had taken him a few weeks to pick out the ring and get it made. He spent a while trying to doge his noisy mother. If Ryava had found out then she would have called up Kiwi to giggle and coo about it and he was positive that they would have tipped off Papaya.

It was a pretty warm fall day out and he had set up a picnic for them. Both their favorite foods and snacks, and of course some chocolate roses a gift he had given papaya on just about all their dates. All he had to do was wait for her to show up, have a nice meal and then pop the question, it would be easy right? He sighed softly and sat down on the grass, there was no reason to get nervous, if he did he might end up giving away his own surprise. He pushed his shades up on top of his head to get a clearer view as he looked around for Papaya.

Savio kissed her back and started to pull out the dishes and serve them food. "Anything for you my love." He hoped that she would like the ring, but they needed to finish their date first. He sliced up some watermelon and slid a pieces onto each of their plates before handing Papayas hers among the pile of her favorites as something Savio had made hoping she would like it, Bananas were her favorite fruit so he thought she might like the Banana Filled Crepes recipe he had found. "So how has everything been at your house?" He asked pulling out some glasses and pouring them some juice.

So far things were going good. Savio was glad that Papaya was enjoying her self. "Thats good, I'm glad she's feeling better. Everything is good at my place, dad came back for a bit, mother was happy to see him again." He said as he took his own plated and started to eat. He found it a bit interesting how their families seemed to match up a bit, their mothers hyper, their fathers gone and he didn't know what his siblings were doing and papaya didn't seem to mention hers much.

Savio enjoyed his watermelon slowly he had just finished when Papaya bit into the crepe. He was nervous for a few moments before she asked were he had gotten it, from the sound of her voice she was enjoying it and he was relived. "I found the recipe, in a book, but I made them myself." He said with a faint blush on his cheeks, he didn't cook often and it had taken a few tries to get it to come out perfect so he was trilled that Papaya liked it.

He was glad that she was so happy, he loved seeing her happy. He blushed when she complimented him and leaned over to return her kiss. "I feel the same, there is no one that I would rather spend the rest of my life with then you." He said looking at her as he reached into the basket and pulled out a small velvet black box. "Papaya Sinclair, will you marry me?" He asked as he opened the box to reveal a ring encrusted with colorful gems. His heart was pounding in his chest as he waited for her response.

All the nervousness he had been feeling while he had been preparing and actually asking melted away at her words. He slid the ring onto her finger and smiled at her for a second before leaning in to kiss her. He knew that his mother would be badgering him for all the details as soon as she found out that he had proposed, but right now that didn't matter. They only thing that mattered to him was the girl sitting across the blanket form him, the love of his life.
