Once again, Yaholo found himself face to face with his odd, squishy, noon-day rival, the Spitorog. It was the same silly looking, brightly colored animal, no matter the day or weather, something that struck the Massif as more than a little odd. Did it know that he had the best food or something? Was it really that desperate for food that it would spend all it's days just following one guy around like a mindless zombie? What a sad existence, endlessly following some guy around just to steal his food. He almost felt bad for the poor little thing...
But not bad enough to share the milk he was carrying, not in the slightest.
"No, no, little fella." He said, poking it away with his finger. "These flasks of milk are for my babies, not for you. I didn't just spend the whole day coaxing my sister's pet Roati into allowing me to milk it to drop it all on the ground for you to enjoy. Why don't you go find your group or something? I can't bother with you right now."
And with that, he turned to leave, not noticing just how sad the Spitorog looked as it was simply scolded. It's large, dark eyes blinked, fluttered, and closed, before it, too, hopped to the side. However, it didn't move too far away from Yaholo, and, once it was sure the Massif wouldn't notice it from behind, it hopped forward to follow him back to Andile. What was it being so persistent about? Didn't it have a home to go back to? Or was it really a lonely, homeless Spitorog looking for a home and an owner to call it's own?

As Yaholo walked back towards Andile, he was none the wiser to the tiny creature that was hopping alongside him. The Spitoroq stayed close to the trees and poked it's tiny head out just slightly as he hopped, as if checking if the Massif was still oblivious to the fact that it was there. However, as the path came to a sudden fork, and Yaholo being the type to run the last few feet to home if he was close enough, the Spitorog lost it's target. It sat in the center of the fork, gazing all around, and stared down at the ground in dismay. Clearly, it was unhappy about losing Yaholo's trail in such a fashion, and had intended on catching up with the man at some point.
It remained in the same spot for some time before it hopped to the path on the left side, scanning it for a minute or so, before deciding to hop down it rather quickly. Something about this path felt right, like it would lead it somewhere, somewhere like straight right to Yaholo. Sure enough, if it continued down this path for another ten minutes or so, it would end up at the gates of Andile, where the Massif and his new babies lived.
