Name: Jonas Baudin
Gender: Male
Age: 28 years
Physical Description: 6'1"; Medium build. Ashen, faded rust colored skin from a very rag tag lineage of people. Hazel-grey eyes. Waves of chocolate hair growing out from very short cropped hair showing about two years of unhindered growth.
Personality: A bit of the man everything happens to whether he wants it to or not. An everyman, albeit a handsome one.
History: A child of a truly b*****d line of nobility from ages forgotten, unbeknownst to him. Centuries ago, a noble at war took more than land as conquest and the rest gets tangled into a long string of fairly ordinary peasants, workers, and the common working class.
A Royal guard who was recently discharged with full honors for injuries sustained while on duty. Commissioned explorations of the older parts of Somera in the name of Her Majesty led him to accidentally fall down a bit of floor that gave way into a sinkhole. Here his memory is severely hazy, but he returned near death and a Hound at his side who refused to leave him as he healed.
His wounds have since healed, but one leg is permanently left scarred and maimed. Jonas is capable of a light jog but any walking for longer than an hour or so a day will send shooting pain up his leg. Some fear the leg will never truly mend. In recognition for his work in the excavation and accidental discovery of a new passageway to explore. Naturally, no one else has ever been able to discover the path Jonas found and only an ancient passageway that seems to have been part of a vast, previously undiscovered armory and library.
He was discharged with full honors and was given severance along with a small sum of money until his dying days. Jonas has no memory, only the knowledge of his new friend being with him.
Hound's Name: Dremora
Gender: Female
Personality: Commandeering, driven, somewhat competitive.
The Summoning: Jonas was near death when a scroll in the library pulled him to read it. With what little strength he had, he read the words though he remembered vaguely he'd never seen lettering like it ever before in his life. He blacked out and it seemed like a second before the Hound was pulling him to stand again and pulled him back up to be rescued by colleagues who had been searching for him.
