It was entirely too cold to be out on patrols like this, but Sailor Canopus knew that there should be nothing to stand in the way of a Dark Mirror senshi's duty, so what was a little cold weather to her? Her recent encounter with her good friend Avior struck a chord deep within her soul, one that was always lingering within her and awakened by Prince Remarque and now fanned by Avior's struggle. She was sent to this world to help others, and when given the duty to lead the lost souls of the White Moon Court to salvation, the bitter cold could not stop her.
Though it was doing it's absolute best in trying!
While it wasn't blizzard like conditions, it was still so very cold, and Canopus' journey through the park was derailed when she swore she could see her toes turning blue. As eager and willing as she was to sacrifice a few toes for leading others into salvation, she knew she'd be even more useless if she allowed harm to come to her, so eventually she retreated to a nearby bus station, one that she knew from experience to be deserted during these late hours, and she's simply wait it out for awhile. Once she got feeling in her toes again, she'd travel across the street and make her way back home. Normally she'd never dare venture into an abandoned clothing store, but she knew there to be a mirror there. If there was any danger lurking around, she'd simply have to stake her bets on getting through into mirror space before whatever lurked in the shadows could try to snatch her.
A simple plan... one that relied on her getting circulation back into her toes, so she brought them close to her body and hid them beneath her silky, sheer fabric from where she sat on the bench. Perhaps she'd ask Remarque if it was acceptable to wear boots before her excursions...

It was especially cold today and Elnath was looking forward to heading home as soon as she was done with covering another block and then using the mirror that was located in the abandoned clothing store down the end of the street to mirrorwalk back home. The streets were expectedly devoid of people, with just about everyone in favour of remaining indoors unless they absolutely had to venture out to make a grocery run or perform an errand that couldn't afford to be postponed any longer. She hadn't come across anyone, civilian or powered, on her patrol and thought it unwise to linger any longer than necessary lest she fell sick from being out in the cold for too long.
Moving down the street quickly to get to her intended destination, the presence of yet another Dark Mirror Senshi like herself came up on her inner radar and made her stop to look around to see if she could spot the other Dark Mirror before altering her path of travel to head towards where she could sense the other was. There. A lone feminine figure seated at the bus station and looking absolutely miserable while she tried to keep herself warm. That wouldn't do at all. The poor girl was going to freeze her butt off so long as she continued to remain outdoors.
Crossing over, she stretched a hand out to Canopus, resting it on her shoulder to get her attention prior to addressing her. "Hey, you alright? Is something wrong?"

The ping of familiar Chaos order that ignited within her was welcoming to her and surprisingly enough warmed her better than any fire or heater would have, and Canopus remained as she was on the bench, feeling that energy source getting closer and closer and suspecting that soon they would be seeing one another eye-to-eye. Canopus always welcomed company, especially from her own court.
Yet, as much as she was preparing herself for the other Mirror senshi's arrival, her touch still took her by surprise, and part of her dress slipped from her feet as she flinched from the touch to her shoulder. She didn't strike out, but she did manage to let out a surprised squeak, as she spun to look at Elnath, whatever fear she had in her heart immediately quelled when she came into sights. "Oh, hello… sorry, I scare easy…"
Once her fear was completely quelled, she turned around in her seat and turned to face her completely, before extending her hand in greeting. She tried her best not to shiver or shake in front of the other Mirror senshi, though she was certain that she could clearly see the goosebumps from this close distance. "I'm alright. A little cold, but it's alright. I was considering going home soon anyways… there doesn't seem to be a lot of people roaming the streets this evening, I suppose."
