The world of the average student was just as if Nischal was on a different planet. Certainly when he was his private schools, he felt awkward enough, being that weird kid with the strange accent and the weird tendency to just disappear during free time to go fishing at the lake behind the school back in Maryland. He always had the slight sent of salt water clinging to him back then, and for a while he was teased about it. And that was rich kids teasing about rich kids; even if they found him strange and nerdy, they backed off once they realized who his parents were.
Now, that wasn't the case at all. He was just another unrecognized nobody; a youth with no history, no experiences unless he made them up on his own on a whim. Luckily enough for Nischal, he had always been good at naturally lying, and faking his comfort around all of these.. Normal students. Not that he had anything wrong with them, it just felt like he didn't belong here, and that feeling of being alone was creeping up the back of his neck again, whispering in his ear that his defection was a terrible idea.
Soon enough though, the school bell rang, dismissing the classes for the day, and Nischal began to gather his books, unsure of what his next course of action would be.. Geesh, he couldn't even remember how to get out of the school. There weren't many people left in the classroom either. If he were to wait any longer, he probably wouldn't have had even the opportunity to ask anyone where he should go exit the school. It was time to just suck it up and ask the closest person.
"Excuse me?" Nischal had slipped on his coat and backpack, stepping towards a kid who was surprisingly shorter than he was. That didn't happen all too often, being at a whopping 5'2. "I was wondering if you could maybe point me to the exit of the school that's closest to the park? I'm sure that sounds silly, but I am, you know, knew to the area, and Can only remember that I walked through the park to get here.."

Tomoko hadn't notice the other student be side him. All he was worried about was the cupcake that he had stashed from his lunch. As the door beg ranged he gently hopped over to his book bag and grabbed it and stuff of piece of it in his mouth. It had been too long since he had something sweet in his mouth and started drooling at the creaminess that was the cupcake.
He was in his usual wear, the girl's school outfit with leggings underneath. He hadn't been tease about since the first day when he just shrugged it off and went around happily meeting new people. Things like that didn't get to him. His father made him go here anyways when he could of gone to the fancier private school but he much more enjoy going to public soon anyways.
He gently put on his bright orange coat and green teddy bear back on when he heard the other boy talk. He swiftly turn around on his his and greeted the male with a bright smile. He was adorable and cute and Tomoko just wanted to pinch his cheeks. "Haiiiiiiiiii!" he paused to finish his cupcake and to switch to plopping a sucker in his mouth. "I'm Tomoko Yamaguchi, I'm sorry that I didn't see earlier today in class, I would have talked to you!" he said chaing the sucker's position with his tongue. "Oh! You're new right? That's so cool! Do you like it here? I think it's pretty darn cool! They give out pretty yummy pastries" he paused on the word pastries and his eyes started to glimmer.
He nodded his head as the other student continue to talk. He tapped his chin and smiled. "Yeah! Sure I could do that! No problem at all. I mean you are new so it's easy to forget things. I know when I came here I was dazed and confused!" he said with a small smile. "Now let see where should we go." he paused to think, "Hmm we could go that way but that would take around the whole school or we could go that way and that would also take use around the whole school, hmmm" he said tapping his chin trying to think which way would be the best. "Ok I got it! Follow me!" he said grabbing the male's hand.

Honestly, Nischal had not even noticed the girls uniform the other was wearing. Clothing was clothing, and if fit comfortably, why should he even care? The only thing that had been on his mind was getting home, and if this kid before him was the answer, then he thanked whoever owned the universe for it! He was surprised by the bit of gluttony the other displayed. Wasn't it rude to talk with something in your mouth? But he had to agree, the school's treats were quite tasty, but expensive, and now that he was on a budget, he would have to start bringing his own meals.
"Yup, I'm new, and it is a pretty cool place so far. I've never been to public school, so this is certainly a change for me. " As quickly as he responded he was swept away by the other, tugged along with his hand firmly grasped in that of the other. And he couldn't help but grin pretty widely at that, thinking of how he had pulled Arian around in such a way not too long ago. If only they had met a few years back, when the boy had attended Meadowview as well, then maybe he'd be holding his hand instead. No matters, a friend was a friend, right? His hands shifted around in the other's grip to lace their fingers together, making sure they didn't part once they left the classroom.
"My name is Nischal, by the way. And thank you so much for helping me! I would have been dancing around the school trying to find my way out! Why does a school need to be this big in the first place?"

He tilted his head. "You never been....to a public school? Then why are you here? I mean wouldn't you parents want you to finish school in a private one? My sister goes to a private school and they are making her stay there until she is done." he said shinning up to the other male.
He smiled as the other student laced fingers with him. It wasn't a lot of time when other enjoy holding hand. Tomoko just doing it and he felt like other should do it too so he was more then happy that he didn't try to pull away. He move his sucker around a few time and remember he didn't offer him anything. "Oh! I forgot! I didn't offer you anything." he paused for a second to grab his book and pull out a few things. There were bear claws, cupcakes, and even more cupcakes in his book bag. "Would you like something? I always keep some on hand! There good you know! my chef makes for e and they are just so yummy! I would feel bad if you didn't take one! Here" he said shoving a bear claw towards him.
He smiled and nodded. "Nischal! What an exotic name! It's so pretty!" he said with a big of delight. "Haha! No problem! I would of hated if you would of got lost on my account! Oh would you like to meet Nummy-chan? He's poarably all cooped up in my bookbag and I know how much he hates it!" he said leading him down a rather long hallway.

"I don't.. Well, I'm not from this city, and my parents.. I don't really have parents. Call me an emancipated youth. I live with a friend of mine in an apartment not too far from here. After I was.. Um.. After I left home, I was removed from school, and now I'm taking care of myself, and I just can't afford private school." That made sense, right? That was believable. And some of it was true. And if it seemed awkward, the way he presented it, then it was believable still, since it WAS an uncomfortable thing to talk about.
"OH YES!" Nischal exclaimed, over joyed to take the bear claw. "I love these things! It could be considered one of my favorite things to eat! Thank you!" Taking a bit bite of the pastry, he went back to paying attention to the boy who was leading him around, his hand ready if the other wanted to take it again.
"Do you think so? It's an okay name, if you ask me. I think I know a girl name Nischa, so our names are so similar that we are mistaken for one another. Then again, I maybe a bit more.. A bit shorter than she is." He laughed a bit at his own little joke, looking around to try to memorize where he had to go next, when the next day came to go home.
"Nummy-chan.. Sure, I'd love to meet him!" It seemed that this boy, Tomoko was a bit stuck in the fourth grade. Not that Nischal would ever bother him about it. It was cute! And he always had had a soft spot for anyone who was younger than him. It just came naturally, to want to protect and see them be happy.
