Draven had never thought shopping could be so tiring: or that a young man could enjoy it as much as Rhiyn seemed to. With each store they visited, the more energy Rhiyn seemed to have. They'd purchased gifts for Claret and Briar--Rhiyn had even allowed Draven to pick out something extra for the pachirisu. The dragonite had to wonder at that. Though they lived in a relatively small cabin, the man seemed to always have money on him. It was probably due to Rhiyn's parents: Draven remembered him mentioning that they owned a business in the next city.

"Can we take a break?" Draven asked, after they spent another few minutes browsing a hat shop. There was a park with a gazebo across the street. It had a hill that looked good for sledding! Other children seemed to have observed this as well: blue, green and red sleds were being ridden down, and pulled back up. "We could stop and sled," he added, hopefully. "We can find a box and--"

Rhiyn was a step ahead of him. He'd spotted a genre's in the park selling plastic sleds. "No need. I'll take one," he said, handing the vender a five. He took a sow and handed it to Draven. "I'll be on the bench, if you get too cold."
