Amriela sighed as she allowed her mind to think back to the festival. She and Aku were still staying at an inn in the capitol, she couldn't bring herself to leave the liveliness of all the people here, they were all so kind, they were much different than the people she was used to. She smiled, as she thought of those she met at the festival, and cringed as she thought of the one man who asked all those questions about Aku, it scared her, it scared her to think of his reasons behind the questions.
You're being a drama queen Aku spoke to her as he continued to clean himself.
He may have been a summoner himself, he may have just been scared to reveal himself with all those people around. Amriela glared at the hound and sat up.
The two had planned to leave the city today, despite much effort on Amriela's part to stay here. Aku just wasn't one for being cooped up for too long, he longed to travel, to explore, to adventure. They went to the town square, taking in all the sights at once before they headed out. Amriela bought some supplies and nestled them into the pack strung around Aku's neck. That's where their pack always was when they traveled, it was just safer there, much safer than on a small woman. As the two made their way to the gates, they said goodbye to the new friends they made, wishing them luck in sales, in health, and anything else they could possibly need luck in.
As the pair entered the forest they smiled, it was beautiful. Boulders and trees nestled soundly on the grass which was beautiful in itself. The sun's rays glistened off the morning dew making everything seem tranquil, peaceful.
Well Aku, what kind of adventure do you think we'll have today?
