Her fetlocks were slowly obtaining a decent coating of mud, with a few flecks of grass bits, but the little healer did not seem to even notice. She trotted from the small puddle, in which she had been gleefully splashing only a few moments prior, back to the small dip in the field she had been examining. There were plants all over the place, of all different sorts, but there were special plants around here. She had found them last night, but without the bright warmth of the sun she had been forced to wait for the next day before she could continue her experiments with them. They would keep better and last longer if she had them soak up sunshine before she tried to store them.

Of course, while the sun felt nice and warm this morning, she could not soak up just sunshine. Nope, not her. She needed a good soak of water or her skin started to feel itchy and dry and just generally uncomfortable. It was hardly a surprise, she had known her parents pretty well after all. And she even had inherited the lovely colorful tail! So of course her fishy-tail needed a bit of water every now and then. Water was a good thing. Lots of things liked water. Fish, fishy-tailed Soquili, regular-tailed Soquili, birds, and plants. Plants needed water too, but they had to depend on the rain or a nice stranger to get it. Sometimes she wondered if the plants knew that, and if the reason some were so helpful was to bribe passerby to dump water on them when the sky failed to. But maybe she was given them too much credit. But, then again, maybe not.

Humming cheerfully, Kali circled around the spot she had glimpsed the night before. Feathery leaves. Tiny, floofy white flowers. There they were! She had seen plants like this once before, they were really good at making hot-head-sickness better. Fevers. That was the proper word. They were good at fixing fevers. Kali grinned at the plants, then paused to follow one of the beetles that seemed to love them drift along a lazy path through the air. “You have good taste you know,” she told the little creature as it landed on another of the special plants. “I hope you don't mind sharing overmuch, I really do think that having a bit of this around will be terribly helpful. And it will all grow back again, you understand,” she continued, grimacing as she seized a leaf in her teeth and pulled. Bitter. So very bitter. Bleh bleh bleh. Gingerly she brought the torn leaf to the flat rock she had found and brushed clean just for this very purpose. “Don't go anywhere now,” she told her bit of plant, trying not to taste the inside of her mouth and failing. “The sun will get you nice and warm, and then you'll last a pretty good long while in case someone is sick later.”

And with that, she turned to trot herself back to the clump and find another bit that could probably be spared, her wet fetlocks trailing behind her every step in a mucky, tangled mess.

User Image Shadow is the size of a bee right now flying about giving help to the plants so that more grow. He shakes some seeds down to the ground and then carries pollen from plant to plant. He sees a young little mare. Or he thinks she is a young one. He hasn't really ever come across a Mini breed before. But meeting all kinds of new Soquili was fine with him as long as it isn't an evil one that is.

He flies to see what she had picked. Once he saw just what it was he flow up to that type of plant and starts to spread it's seeds onto the ground to help more of them to ground. He sizes to be about the size of a cat so he can stomp the seeds deep into the ground. Then he resizes to his normal size. He stares at the small mini mare. "You are new to this area." He points out as his tail moves to pick up his plushie that was well hidden under the plants. The glowing lilies on his tail and front leg glow as if it were night time though it is now.

Being as small as a bee. Tsumetai lands on the Mini mare's nose as her tail switches side to side. She stares as this newbie in the area as she isn't use to. But then again her time in this field isn't as much as the time her brother is here. Seeing Tsumetai spends a lot of time up in the snowy parts of the mountains to help the trees not break from all the snow they have on them.

She prances a bit on the nose and then flies up and off of the mini mare and resizes to her full size as she softly puts her hooves on the ground. "Wow you are either a lost foal or a really tiny breed I haven't come across before." The glowing lilies on her glow brightly as well as she watches this mini mare closely. "And what are you doing here?" She wonders as she and her brother look like yin and yang as one is black and one is white.

Sorry for slowness, the holidays ate me right up :<

Fluffy white-flowered feather-leafed plants that healed fevers. Wasn't that something? They didn't look like much, they looked like little white flowers growing in the dirt. Which was a lot, really. Flowers were pretty, and at least a few soquili appreciated them. Maybe the really special plants were the ones that didn't look like anything at all, just tufts of green in a green field or a green forest. But even the little things were so important. Even the little things were so special. Even the little things- were soquili?

“Oh my,” Kali gasped, her eyes widening with delight. “You're not butterflies,” she said gleefully, watching as Shadow appeared, and going cross-eyed when the tiny little Tsumetai danced on her nose. Her hooves were so small, it really did feel like a butterfly or a beetle crawling on her, and not another soquili. That would surely not be the case once she was full sized, as the pair were now. They went from being tiny enough to make a little nest in her mane or on her hat, to being much larger than she was herself.

As the pair collected their little stuffed toys, how cleverly the two had hidden them!, Kali marveled at the wait their beautiful black and white coats mirrored each other, and the delicate, dainty way they seemed to move even now that they were no longer small. “Oh no, I'm not from around here. I came when the other small ones did, but I seem to have wandered off. I'm not a foal, though I guess I am foal-sized,” she agreed with a laugh. “My legs are too short though, if I were still growing they'd be all long and wobbly. I'm not going to get any bigger,” she explained, her finned tail flicking briefly. It was wonderfully exciting to meet someone new. She'd heard about soquili that flitted and flew like butterflies, but she'd never met one. And now she was meeting two! Two new butterfly soquili friends! “I was collecting some of these fluffy-flowered plants so they could dry in the sun. I'm not very good at healing with my horn,” she said, tossing her head slightly to emphasize how small it was. “So I've been trying to learn other ways. And some of the other ways include plants. Like those,” she added, pointing with one muddy hoof at the the feathery-leafed plants she'd been planning to collect. “I didn't realize they were someone's plants though. I don't want to take them from you, especially if you might need them.”

They were like butterflies after all. With their soft, pretty little wings. And how they were so tiny, tiny enough to prance on her nose! It had tickled in the most adorable sort of way when the little white one had stood there! Butterflies needed flowers. She couldn't take the flowers from this pretty pair. It would be mean and wrong and not very good of her at all!

Shadow looking at the mini mare. "Oh they aren't ours. We just care of the plants in this area. Nothing more." He smiles in the sweetest of ways though he is normally an odd one to speak to as he is always trying his best but not getting it right as long as it wasn't dealing with plants. Turning his head to look at his sister. "We are what you call fluttercorns seeing we are have breeds." stating as he sways his tail side to side balancing the plushie prefectly never dropping it.

Nodding as she watches the little one. "Welcome to this area then. And we know of a lot of plants that are helpful to wounds and fevers. We could show you to them if you wish to learn." Tsumetai smiles as she continues to watch the mini mare. "I am Tsumetai. You can call me Tai though. And my twin brother over there is Shadow." Telling one your name before asking their's is a well mannered thing to do as she sways her tail to match what Shadow is doing. "What might you be called?"
