There was a long, drawn out moment in which Eyphah and the two Gaili all stood there stock still, starring. Eyphah was on one side, covered in blood and sand, standing over two Gaili Orbs and on the other side were two snarling, enraged Gaili. Both sides were nearly spent, this was going to be the last scuffle, one side was going to walk away from this, the other was going to be dead. It was something that was rather exciting if you asked the Diabi as he was feeling so much more like himself again. Battling others, it was something that had always been exciting to him. He enjoyed fighting, battling creatures stronger then he was, fighting them, killing them, and eating them. It was something that he wouldn't allow that pink haired wench take away from him! If anything he was going to go out there eat twice as many two-legs as before after this! Well... maybe not, he didn't want to get too fat to fly after all. Still, he wouldn't quit eating them just because she thought it wrong, silly twit.
Focusing his mind on the dragons again he looked between them, debating for a moment, before deciding that the one on the left looked as though it was closer to defeat them its partner. Alright, he'd take that one out first, then he'd attack the other one, being sure to take a piece of it before killing it, he was not exhausted by he was starving! He would eat a whole dragon if he could but they vanished too fast. As such a tail was going to have to suffice he concluded before he rushed forward, throwing himself into battle once more. The best that he could do at the present was take advantage of the small respite to catch his breath and hope that he would be able hold up through the rest of the battle.
The moment he got close to the dragon he was aiming for the Drakein slid through the sand so that he could get under the Gaili, attacking it's vulnerable underside with both claws and his tail scythe. Once he felt he had done sufficient damage he was moving again, not wanting to risk the thing falling on him. As much as it felt as though his muscles were all burning he continued to move, continued to attack, and the moment the dragon started to fall he was already on the second one. He was nearly spent now... he had to end it and fast. There was a quick exchange of attacks between Eyphah and the remaining Gaili, one that ended with his tail scythe slicing through the dragon's tail, severing it, before he he used it in an upward arc, nearly cutting the dragon's head clean off. It too collapsed, crumbling away, leaving behind its orb... but Eyphah didn't even seem to be paying attention to that. Instead he was instantly on the tail, wolfing down the meat, barely chewing. He had to make up for all the energy he'd burned in the continuous battles by gorging himself on dragon meat. The moment he was as full as he could get without making himself sick he flopped over onto his side.
"Wait for me, orbs, I just need a little moment to catch my breath." He told them, starring at them from where he was laying, to tired to gather them. Soon though, once he'd digested a bit he told himself and the orbs. He wasn't about to abandoned such treasure, he just needed a moment was all! The orbs would just have to wait until he felt strong enough to move again, the last thought to go through his head before he was snoozing away on the warm sand.
