As I've mentioned to some of you, and alluded to it, publicly, Syndrone is the new site, very much like old-Gaia... in fact so much like 03 Gaia that the similarities are at times eerie. I found it, liked the feel, and decided that it was going places (and better places than this current site) so I set up a thread there. That thread can be found here. Sadly, there are no guilds, or anything like. Yes, my current home on Syndrone is a single hangout thread, but now that it's made it to a hundred pages, I'd like to formally invite all of you to join me there. The only Gaia regular so far is Shanderaa. As Queen, she was the most accessible and reliable one to post between my posts. Oh, and do check in on the ToS. There are a few restrictions about how many times in a row you can post, and such things as that. I am in the process of naming my Syndrone Disciples now, but some of the lower ones will be very easy to displace, if you're interested. The thread has been scant-populated enough that taking 12 will be as easy as posting on more than two pages. EDIT: It seems that right this instant may not be the best time. They're experiencing some downtime at the moment and I'm not sure exactly when they'll be back.

I noticed the downtime while they are switching servers yesterday and it is a bit disheartening, but I would rather they have the problems now and actually get them fixed than do what Gaia does and ignore the problems until they snowball out of control. Also, I like that Fork keeps everyone updated as to the progress and the reasons for lag time and downtime. Unlike Gaia that likes to sugarcoat everything.
Also, DLS has posted on the thread, and will be posting more regularly. I will not make a mule account on Syn, it seems unnecessary. I also don't plan on changing my name there. Everyone is getting used to DLS, so I will let her stay as is.

It's a lot smaller than Gaia and I am willing to give it a chance.And to be honest, I don't want another Gaia. Syn is a lot more personal, and I am liking that. I tried Solia too and I HATE Solia. I gave it a chance but I just cannot fit in there.

If guilds had been updated at the same time forums were, we wouldn't need this part of the conversation.

Really, though... When are they going to release kneeling poses and back poses? That's something that becomes harder and harder to do with each new release that they make. I really hope we aren't going to have to do without that. I know it is a terribly minor touch, but it just adds so much depth to the world. With no poses, it feels a bit like just playing with a paper doll.

I get where you are coming from, but their avatars are so superior to Gaia's in style, I almost don't mind the not kneeling or turning around. Why don't you put that in the suggestion forum?

Syn is still new, only 8 months old. Give it a chance. With the heavy influx of Gaians, anything is possible now.

Syn is still new, only 8 months old. Give it a chance. With the heavy influx of Gaians, anything is possible now. If they aren't already preparing, though, it would be an unbelievably massive undertaking. That's the kind of things that has to be in the works right now or it really will be never. Gaia never would have been able to create towns if all of their items didn't account for kneel/stand, front/back, and the various arm position. It's either something they're already working on or something that we'll never get... And they aren't working on it, now.

Fork also mentioned that he's got a mobile version in planning to work on after all the main site updates
I follow them on Facebook, and they do make regular updates, especially with the new server being so odd
It's possible that they do have some of the newer items with poses already, and are working on the older ones as well, but since it's up in the air, they won't mention it yet
A LOT of things on Syn are under 'yet' because of how new they are
