It was winter and it was cold, no doubt about it, and it was snowing. Yes, it was snowing. it wasn't a small, light, amount of snow either. It was large, chunky, flames which were drifting down from the dark clouds above and blanketing the city in their cool white embrace. This wasn't the sort of snow which melted either but rather this was the sort of snow which stuck. You'd think he'd be inside, considering he got cold easily, but nope! The general was out and about, or at least he was out, sitting on a pack bench situated under a lamp post.
Gloved hands rose slowly as they brought a hot drink to his lips. A slip taken slowly as he savored the heated sweet liquid rushing into his mouth, before he had to shallow and allow the liquid down his throat to warm his stomach, oh it was nice tonight. Perhaps he should have had his cell phone on him so he could take pictures and attempt to recreate this on canvas later. But no, he didn't have his phone. He would have to work on recreating this from memory later - it was too perfect not to.
But that was tomorrow, or maybe the day after, tonight was a night to keep warm and keep on the look out for senshi, or knight, signatures. He'd gather energy if he came across anyone, or if anyone happen across him, but he wasn't going to activity seek it out tonight. Tomorrow he should see Lily about things he had in the works with her and pick up holiday cards he could mail out to people, family and such. Tomorrow he should also look into getting a tree once he got off of work. He had things to do and plans to work on also. At least his first college semester would be over soon and he would have more free time to himself.

Sometimes (okay, often) Cyllene wished that in her corruption she ended up with more of a Negaverse-style military outfit instead of the ridiculous miniskirt that she was stuck with. Maybe then she wouldn't be so adverse to going out and patrolling in the middle of December when it was freezing and snowing and awful outside. Quite frankly, she would much prefer to be hibernating in her apartment with a hot cup of cocoa and wrapped in a blanket. But she had quotas to meet and unless she wanted to feel the wrath of Zink (ha! wrath! mostly she just didn't want to be kicked out of her place), she would force herself out into the cold. After draining energy from what seemed to be a homeless man in the park, Cyllene continued on her way- stopping only when she felt the energy signature of a superior officer. Making her way towards the park bench that he sat upon, Cyllene wrapped her arms around herself for warmth. When she approached, she recognized the blonde in his navy blue uniform from her days as a White Moon Senshi. "General Benitoite," she said softly with a smile. Her head tilted to the side as she stood in front of him, the ends of her blonde hair soaked from the snow at their feet.

He's felt the signature before he had even seen them. A feeling of chaos washing over him sent a small shudder up him and caused a smile to cross his features. Who else was out this evening? As he waited, sipping his cooling drink slowly, he wondered if it was someone he knew or someone knew. If someone he knew then who? Who else would come out into such weather? This certainly wasn't the sort of weather you expect to see many people out in, unless they really had to make quota, so this person likely had a quota to make. If not that then they really liked their job.
Lifting his head, and turning it, as he heard his name he didn't get words out, though they were right on the tip of his tongue. Well...this was certainly interesting. "It's been a while...but I do remember you." Seeing her state of undress, that mini skirt, had him standing up swiftly. His drink set down and his hands worked on undoing his cape. Moving to cover her with the heavy item he looked her over. "I see you decided to change sides. It's nice to see you again - especially the new looks." Though her hair was a bit long and seemed heavy. "Come...we can walk and talk, I'll treat you to a hot drink - I imagine your cold." And he wouldn't allow her to freeze if he could help.
"Tell me you've been well, found what you sought." Picking up his own half empty cup he motioned for her to follow him, fully intent on getting to a cafe and get her a hot drink.

Cyllene's bright blue eyes lit up when the General draped his heavy cape over her shoulders, a heavy, happy sigh escaping her lips. "Ohhh thank you she murmured as she clung to it. She nodded quickly as he mentioned walking and talking- at least moving around kept her a little bit warmer. Wrapping the cape tightly around herself as they walked side by side, she smiled and glanced at him. "I've been really good! I live in Zink's building, he's the one that brought me over. He's been really nice! Actually, pretty much everyone I've met has been great which is awesome because White Moon people sucked. Funny how that works, huh? That the supposed 'bad guys' are the nice ones!" She laughed out loud and waved a hand in the air. "It's all still very new though. The quotas and the meetings and it's just... It's different. And organized! So it's a very welcome, nice change. I have all of my memories of being a White Moon Senshi so it's easy to appreciate things like organization and structure now," she couldn't help but laugh.

"I suppose it's amusing how it works like that. I'm glad you've a place to stay and your being taken care of." He could have, but didn't, ask just where this building of the General King's was, though he was curious. He wouldn't mind knowing where it seemed some officers were living, it paid to know where people could be found if needed.
"Yes, I imagine you would appreciate the organization and structure of things. It makes it easier to get things done." Nodding his head as he glanced over to her. She really should look into taking a hair clip with her for when she powered up. That hair could get in the way easily it seemed. "You'll get used to things soon enough, it's not too bad in the end." It always took time, any change in structure did, but it really was a matter of finding fun and creative, enjoyable, ways to gather the energy and go about your duties. "I guess once we get to the cafe you'll get to see who I am as a civilian." As he'd have to power down so he could enter the cafe and get her a drink, she might have to also if she planned on joining him inside.
"I'm glad you sought Zinkenite out as I suggested. He was the right person to help you when you ready." He finally said with a smile given to her, he really was happy to see a senshi brought to their side. If only they could bring more senshi, and knights, to their side.

Pulling the cape tighter around herself as a gust of wind blew past them, Cyllene continued quickly at Benitoite's side. As they approached the cafe she was suddenly incredibly grateful that she had run into the General, both for his cape and the hot drink he had promised her. "Secret's safe with me, General!" The blonde grinned up at him. Slipping into a dark alley, Cyllene ensured that the two of them were alone and that there were no nearby power signatures. Powering down, Dani Bantock now stood before Benitoite in Cyllene's place. "My name's Dani," she said casually. "Bamtock. I took Zac's name. We claim we're cousins, which I'm sure he's super duper fond of."

As he led the way he smiled to her as he listened to her speak. "I see, I'm glad you've a cover story. I don't know how documents are obtained but I assume you have all the needed paperwork as well." Which was good if she did. he figured they had to have someone good enough, or high enough up somewhere, to get documents that would hold u p under scrutiny so people could continue on living and working and such. Plus a background done so it looked like they'd always been around. The idea of having people who could, and possible did, do such things was...creepy in a way. Something best left unthought about really.
Glancing over the blond haired female he finally powered down as well. The same ash blond hair and slate hued eyes but he looked less mature outside of that formal uniform, it really was such a formal outfit, and he looked far less intimidating as well. "Alexandre Evans, Alex for short if you prefer." He had, while in high school and the lower grades, corrected people who called him that as it wasn't his name. He had over time, especially now, gotten used to being called Alex as it was easier on them.
"And why would he be anything less than fond of it?" Offering his arm to her as he stepped out of the alley way and toward the cafe's doors.

Dani nodded enthusiastically, "All taken care of. Zac is awesome! It's great to finally actually meet you, Alex! I'm sorry about that one time we fought. I'm glad we're on the same team now though!" She grinned and took his arm as he lead her into the cafe. "Maybe we can be friends! I don't know many people. I don't remember anything about my civilian life before I was accepted into the Negaverse so it's been a little rough but I like meeting new people and making new friends so that's okay!" Dani chatted on and on as they found a seat and placed their orders- hot chocolate and whipped cream with shaved chocolate on top with a slice of cake on the side. All of the sugar!! Settling in and getting comfortable, Dani talked poor Alex's ears off until it she exhausted herself late into the night. Sleet Tempest Snape Fin? I figure this RP is 7 months old and could use a wrap XD
