Hobbies: Social Media - Jax is all about updating the world on absolutely meaningless stuff. Well, not meaningless to her. She tweets about just about every occurrence in her life (big or small), she instagrams every meal she eats, and she can't get enough of Facebook. Social Media is all the rage right now and Jax's life practically revolves around it.
Photography - Selfies. Food. Cats. Raleigh has a passion for taking pictures, and this hobby ties in with her Social Media one. She takes pictures of absolutely anything and everything! Her cell phone is with her everywhere she goes and and she is sure to take pictures of anything she finds interesting. She would like to take photography classes when she is older to try and turn it into a profession.
Dress-up - Not the sort of dress-up that babies do, Raleigh is interested in big girl dress-up! She sneaks into her mom's makeup and her closet and tries to look like she is older. She is tired of being a stupid teenager and wants people to take her seriously, so putting on makeup and wearing mom's heels is obviously the way to go about it.
Virtues: Sincere - Raleigh wears her heart on her sleeve. She is always honest with her feelings and her actions rather than trying to be someone or something she is not. She acts the same way alone as she would in the presence of others and in that she is easy to come to trust. She has no reason to lie to you for any reason and she genuinely cares about your well being. Raleigh is never one to hide her emotions and she would never say or do things unless she truly believed in it. You always know what you're going to get with Raleigh!
Persistent - This is a girl that will achieve her goals regardless of the obstacles that you throw at her. She is eager and ambitious and these things drive her to her end game, whatever that may be at the time. Because she believes so strongly in herself and her emotions, she drives herself towards things that she wants and tends to be relentless. If she really wants to ace that math test, she's going to study for weeks ahead of time. If she wants to befriend that girl that bullies her? You bet she's going to work at it until she finally caves because she knows she can be the best friend she could ever have! She sees the brighter side of every situation and uses that to push herself.
Protective - Raleigh is incredibly protective of the people and things that she holds near and dear to her heart. She would go to great lengths to ensure that people in her life are happy and puts their needs before her own. She would defend a friend to the ends of the earth and wants to be sure that they are never hurt physically or emotionally. While some people view her actions as being overly protective, Raleigh will insist that she just wants to make sure everyone is okay!
Flaws: Overly Emotional - With Raleigh's sincerity comes the fact that she tends to be overly emotional. It's great that you always know what you're going to get... If only because when you look at her and you can tell that she's having a rough day, you can run far far away. Raleigh can become very easily overwhelmed by her feelings and tends to struggle in situations in which she is experiencing new things or taking risks. Her feelings can be easily hurt, particularly because she tries so hard to make sure that she makes everyone else feel good. She tends to be overly dramatic when it comes to her feelings which can be incredibly over-bearing, and sudden mood swings are difficult to deal with no matter how sincere they may be.
Gossipy/Meddlesome - Raleigh wants to know every bit of your business. She tends to end up interfering in other peoples' concerns where she is not wanted or needed because she thinks that she can help and make it all better. She doesn't understand peoples' need for privacy nor does she understand why you could possibly want to keep something a secret! While she may not consider it gossipy and she isn't trying to be malicious, she definitely has a tendency to talk to other people about someone else's personal lives. She wants to be involved in any way possible and does so by forcing her way into your business! And then, you know... Telling someone else because she wants to be involved in their business too! Then she'll fix everything, she promises.
Stubborn - Raleigh always thinks she's right. How could someone who knows everything about everyone possibly be wrong about anything, anyway? Duh. Because she never does or says something unless she thinks it's the right thing to do, she will never admit to being wrong. Her persistency can be incredibly annoying, especially when she gets to a point where her argument is unreasonable and her emotions are involved. It doesn't matter what you say or how much you try to show her that she is wrong- her attitude or position on something is very hard to change once she has taken a stance.
