She had been putting out the feelers for some time now, trying to meet other Senshi and Knights, trying to fit into the complex role she had literally been raised from the dead to do. She was slowly gaining contacts and something like confidence, or at least... she'd found a grip on willpower to do what she needed to do. And one of those things was sparring. Learning to fight. Senshi, she'd seen, tended to be the power houses of the Order war, and she was grateful to have been able to get in contact with one to do a little more fighting practice, even an unfamiliar one. Fighting with an actual senshi would at least be much better practice for some of the forces of Chaos than fighting another knight, or a civilian.

Lysithea wasn’t quite sure how she had ended up here tonight, but hey. There she was, ready to get into a sparring match. She wasn’t sure how well she’d be able to do but hey…she could use the practice? Besides, if they ended up getting hurt from it, she could help with that too!
She saw the person that she thought she was supposed to be meeting and gave a little wave. “Hi there. Are you the one who contacted me? I’m Lysithea, and I’m ready to spar whenever you’re ready…do we just start throwing punches or should we talk some first? Or…or I don’t even know. I have some healing magic so if we get scraped up too much, I can fix it a little bit? I don’t know.”
The senshi felt a little bit awkward and laughed. “But um. Yeah. So hello!”

"Hi! Yeah, I'm Hara Berezaiti!" Hara offered, waving back nervously. She was trying to be more social again, but that didn't mean there weren't days where her own internal monologue didn't get the better of her. "I'm one of Chronos' pages, it's nice to meet you! And we can do this... um... however you feel comfortable!"

None of this was in any way ‘comfortable’ to Lysithea, but she nodded, rather enthusiastically and drew in a breath. “Then…then let’s just get right to it! Seriously though, promise me you won’t hate me if I hurt you. I can heal little things, I really can, I promise…so don’t worry too much!” The senshi hesitated and gave an apologetic smile before throwing a punch right for Hara Berezati’s gut.
Oh god. Had she really just done that? How was this going to help anything? Sparing didn’t help anyone…it just left bruises…and hurt feelings.
She had nothing against the girl…but…but there she was punching her. “I’m so sorry!”

Hara held up one finger in a gesture to ask for a moment, her other arm wrapped around her gut as she gasped for breath. "Ok..." she wheezed after a moment. "So... you've... got surprise down. That's.... that's great." Well, good to know... the senshi of unicorns had a punch that felt like she sort of imagined a kick from a horse just might. She took another moment before she managed to straighten up, her abs still sore, and tried to flash a smile. "See, we're learning already. You can't stop in a regular fight like that though. ... But I appreciate you waiting for me. Lets um.... work on pulling your punches, and I'll um.... work on blocking better."

Lysithea winced, looking absolutely horrified. “I am really, really so sorry. I just…I just didn’t know how to start off and, oh god. Are you okay?” She reached out to try and do something, but then just nodded. “Aha…pulling my punches. Well, I’ll try! You know, if you want a free shot, you can go ahead and take it. Seriously, I deserve it after that…”
The senshi gave a weak smile. “Yeah, but this isn’t a real fight, not by any means…we’re just practicing…so it doesn’t count, right? You can take all the time you need to catch your breath…or you know. Wait until it stops hurting. Oh god if I left a bruise, I’m going to seriously just punch myself too…”
She realized they’d be play fighting…but she didn’t think she’d be the one doing any damage.

"You know..." Hara suggested. "I've been looking into Akido... maybe that would... um... help your confidence?" She forced herself to stop rubbing her abs and added. "I don't think it's going to bruise, you just knocked the wind out of me. It was a good punch. It really was."
She straightened back up and put herself into a new fighting stance. "Here, throw another punch, but a little more slowly. I'm going to show you how to block a punch, as best as I know."

Akido? Well. Marital Arts was never something she had ever really shown much of an interest in, but maybe it would be worth a try. Either that or she could always just kick. Soccer was a good trainer for kicking things. “So, punch you again, but do it more slowly. Got it.”
The senshi drew in a breath, and threw another punch, trying to make it less…haphazard than the last one had been, though not trying to make it a slow motion thing either. She managed to make it about three quarters the speed of the last one though, so that was a good thing. “This good?”

"Yeah that's fine." Holi encouraged. It felt a little surreal to be the one encouraging a fight, especially after the way things had been since the surrounding, but on the other hand, it kind of felt good.
"See, one of the things I've been learning is... well basically it's to stop the hit with something that will hurt less, and then later you learn stuff to take advantage of it, but right now it's just 'stop the hit.'."
She raised her forearm, and put it in a position to knock the blow aside. "See? Like this, it turns the blow away from me. It's ok to start slow, you pick up speed and control at the same rate. So slow is good. You can block kicks too, but again, work on this first."

She nodded, watching as Hara blocked the punch and gave a little grin. “Oh, kicks I’m pretty good at. I play soccer a lot, so I’m good with my legs, just the punching thing is kind of new to me. You don’t use your hands much out on the field, you know? Only when you’re playing goalie, but that’s not my job. I did it once and I was awful.”
Lysithea was seeming a lot more happy nonw. The embarrassment of punching her fellow good guy had started to wear off, and she felt like she was actually learning something. “You’re pretty smart, you know? We should hang out more, I think!”
She let loose another slower punch, hoping the girl would block…after all. Anything could happen in a real fight, right?

"If you're good at kicking, that might be a good focus until you feel more comfortable with punching?" Hara suggested, blushing as she gently blocked the slow punch. "I'm not really that awesome at this stuff, I've been taking Akido, I'm just parroting what they teach us mostly." She paused and added. "But I wouldn't mind hanging out." She could use other friends. Other friends she didn't have to worry about. Other friends she actually saw now and again. All of these things might be... really good for her on a lot of levels. Which felt selfish to think about, but it wasn't like being friends was normally bad for the other friend... normally. Ugh. Way more than she needed to have on her mind right now. So much more. She needed to focus. "Soccer sounds fun, I've never been a great sports player. I'm better in the kitchen." Orangeish Sherbert [((holy cow I am the worst at tagging))

“The only use I have in the kitchen is when I’m working in one. I’m a waitress…out in the real world.” Lysithea laughed, tucking some hair behind an ear. “Speaking of the real world…as much as I’ve really, really loved this, I have work early in the morning, and I really should get home and get to bed. Maybe you and I could get together again or something? Or you could always visit where I work at, I might even give you a free milkshake if you’d like one!”
She liked this. The idea of a friend. Someone that she might be able to get close to in this whole fighting thing. Someone with experience. Someone cool. Because, clearly this girl was so cool.
“Maybe you can even get me into this Akido thing you’re involved in. If it helps me learn how to defend myself better, I’m totally game.” The senshi let out a laugh and shrugged. “Well, until next time then, Hara!” Lysithea gave a grin and skipped on home, terribly happy with how it had all turned out…even if she had to punch someone who was on her side and had become as close to a friend as she had now.

"That... that sounds nice." She admitted. "You'll... you'll have to tell me at some point where you work so I can stop in." She smiled. "And I'll tell you where I'm taking my class." It was a much more pleasant evening than she'd actually expected, though she supposed she tended to not expect much pleasantry in... well... anything anymore. It was a wonderful surprise to be wrong.
