The last thing she had expected to find on tonight's patrol was another senshi, a corrupted one, struggling on a rooftop. Even less, for him to be struggling with a strand of christmas lights that were tangled around his booted ankle. The sight was so... comical, that she couldn't help the smile that kept trying to surface. He was part of the Negaverse, she shouldn't be smiling at him. He probably did all the horrible things that all the rest of them did.... but, well, he was only first level, she could feel that, and none of those she had met so far would have allowed themselves to get into such a situation.

When she got closer, jumping from roof to roof, she slowed to watch him, wondering how long it would take him to finally disentangle himself.

"You look like you're having some trouble." Ida said finally, a hint of familiarity making her tilt her head in thought. Oh! Now she remembered... she saw him once, during that big mess with the shades. She'd seen him a few times, actually, during other large events, but she'd never actually met this particular officer before.

What must his story be like? She had met so few corrupted senshi... it made ida just... wonder why they would join with a group like the Negaverse.

In hindsight, he should've expected this. But hindsight, as he reminded himself, is twenty-twenty.

Lack of foresight aside, he couldn't really concern himself with it right now. In fact, aside from the bitter cold eating through his legs and threatening to freeze his fingers off, he mostly focused on the fact that his leg was almost irrevocably tangled in a string of poorly-hung christmas lights. And these weren't the simple lights one could obtain at bargain basement prices, either - these forest green strands sported thick wires and even thicker casing as to prevent instances just like these. And the longer he hung around, the more he realized that the bulbs pressing into bare skin were absolutely burning hot.

The last bizarre and ironic case he needed was to come home from a freezing winter day with second degree burns. What a terrible thought.

And perhaps the next terrible thought found itself realized long before he could fully articulate it. Sure enough, he felt the harrowing presence of an eternal senshi approaching his direction, and any frantic attempts made at untangling his leg only found more fuel through his incessant panic. After encountering Penthesilea and her unrelenting, forceful ways, Adonis wasn't in the mood to entertain another beating from someone far above him in strength. However, he lacked that measure of time required to release himself before the senshi in question took notice of him - and surprisingly, the voice wasn't as malicious as he would've believed.

In fact, he recognized it.

Pausing from his frantic and pointless fiddling with the lights, Adonis glanced toward the ground to find the purple and white senshi staring up at him. Suddenly he became frightfully aware that his skirt had inverted entirely, like a destroyed umbrella on a windy day, though wardrobe malfunctions never fazed him. He could likely get away with wandering the streets naked, but most denizens didn't deserve that sight. "Trouble? No, not at all - I thought this might help me stretch my legs a bit." Yeah, no one would buy that, but it beat admitting the truth.

Strange how easy it was to lie these days.

Thankfully when he found his wits - largely due to her nature of not attacking a Negaverse senshi on sight - he managed to disentangle himself from the mess of cords quite easily. However, he held on desperately to keep from falling a distance that he still wasn't quite used to. After a great deal of concentration and self-coaxing, the blonde managed to release his grip on the strand and land unscathed. He'd seen broken legs before - he'd cleaned up after fall victims. Tibias and fibulas splintered and shot into the knees, sometimes farther depending on the distance. He'd seen how uncharacteristically short the human body became from some of the greater heights - like strange children seated and waiting, fixated on infinity.

The thought was jarring when faced with Ida. Sometimes he struggled to maintain his focus on reality, rather than morbidity. "Sorry you had to see that," Adonis began, gesturing skyward. "It's a little embarrassing to get caught like that. Anyway, I don't think we've formally met - I'm Adonis." If anything, maybe being forthright about himself might earn enough brownie points to warrant living another day.

As of right now, he really didn't want to test the strength of an eternal.

Ida felt her face heat up until she felt like she gave off steam and she fidgeted a little as she dropped her eyes and focused them somewhere off to the side of him. Who designed senshi fukus, anyway? Sometimes she wondered about some... configurations.

"You must like the... Thrill of heights, if you're doing your stretching way up there." She finally managed to get out, shifting on her white booted feet and adjusting her hood with slender fingers. Why was she sitting here chatting with him anyway? He was Negaverse... But she reminded herself that it wasn't her policy to attack first, not when they were doing nothing nefarious. She was starting to learn about the shades of grey her world was made of and she needed to keep herself as white as possible. Attacking first was what they did...

The motion to jump down caught her attention and the eternal senshi turned back to watch a properly clothed senshi land on the ground before her. Yes, this was the same senshi from before. Was he always in some sort of trouble? Her brown eyes were wide and thoughtful as he worked through his introduction, though she felt her face heating again.

"Ida." She said as she smoothed her skirt with her hands, hearing the soft jingle of her bracelets. "It's... Fine, don't apologize. It's just good you didn't hurt yourself on those lights. Prowling for energy and tripped?"

It was so confusing to be a senshi... If asked, she would have said she was a gentle soul... Being suspicious wasn't part of her nature. However, experience had taught her that suspicious kept your and your loved ones alive. Ida would probably never reconcile those two parts of her... So two sided questions like that would probably always come out at times like this.

"Yes, of course, naturally," he answered absentmindedly while tending to the stripes of dust along his sarong. Whoever tacked up the lights didn't bother to dust them off first... Of course, not many individuals climbed rooftops to inspect the cleanliness of the strings. Once he was sure his outfit assumed a more presentable condition, Adonis raked a few fingers through his hair to perfect what he considered his greatest asset - for hair like his was few and far between, and those who afforded the fortune of regarding him up close should covet it accordingly. After a brief shake of his head, he was satisfied with the result. Bangs fell across his eyes in their usual fashion, and he was ready to examine the senshi who assailed him and abstained from killing him thus far.

At least she was nice enough to humor his excuses, so she must not be all that ba-... Wait, he recognized her. Adonis' brow furrowed slightly and a concentrated frown tugged at his lips as he looked her over. "I know you from somewhere." The corrupted senshi traced his lower lip with a single nail while he tried to pinpoint their first meeting. Initially the memory arrived as a series of feelings - fear, desperation, confusion - but through ample focus he managed to recall both the location and circumstance in which they met. Once he was certain of the events, he pointed toward her chest in a lax manner and shifted his stance to one hip. "I remember now - you were there when I attacked myself. Well, that strange copy of me attacked myself. Didn't you have a copy too? I can't quite grasp that part, but I suppose it doesn't matter. I really should thank you for your help back then."

Particularly so he could buy a little time to slip away and return to the charades.

"It sounds like you're pretty familiar with energy draining, I take it. Interesting thing, that. You see..." Adonis began backing further into the alley, either in hopes of abandoning her altogether or luring her from the streets where witnesses might observe their conversations. While doing so, the Skin Senshi folded his arms behind his back. "As a Negaverse Senshi of such a low rank, I can't actually drain energy. Basically all I do is poke around the city and see who's doing what and who's with who. Nothing harmful, really - and that's just the way I like it. But, senshi of your type aren't too thrilled with my existence. It gives me a bit of a bad impression of your court, see." As adonis explained, he gesticulated in fluid and grandiose movements, as if trying to sway a stage.

"Ida, you look like a beautiful and intelligent young woman. Maybe you can explain to me why the Court of the White Moon has such a grudge against a single Negaverse senshi like myself. Considering I've never killed anyone and never wanted to, it's a bit mind-boggling to think there are strangers out there wanting to kill me." Possibly you included. Adonis wasn't keen on taking chances; the moment he found a means to escape or entrap her, he fully intended to do it.

Dark eyes watched him preen and something in her relaxed a little. If he was able to feel vanity, then perhaps he wasn't too deeply corrupted yet... the darker ones seemed to only care about killing and sucking energy. Ida watched as he thought his way through to the same point she had come to, that night on the roof top with their doppelgangers. She'd had bigger things to worry about in the form of a certain general, and suspected he'd been distracted by other things too.

"I had a lot of things to deal with that night." Ida said as she braced her hands on her hips, right below her bows. "And I don't think your superiors would much care to hear you were thanking me, would they? They don't like me very much... They keep trying to rip out my starseed." A bitter note entered her voice at the end there and she felt a pang in her chest, reminding her yet again of the mental wounds left behind by that sort of... invasion of her person.

As he backed up, alarms rang in her head and she shifted, gathering herself for a jump that took her up to the first landing of a fire escape. The new angle, perched on the railing, gave her a good view of their surroundings and his possible escape routes, but probably showed a lot more leg than she realized.

"I highly doubt you're as innocent as you say, Adonis." The senshi of Orchids said as she walked along the railing. balancing herself with ease in her heels. His flattery, while outwardly ignored, wasn't unnoticed. It made her uncomfortable, the way they resorted to flattery, like they knew how it flustered her...

"Its not you they dislike, of course, but your faction as a whole. I could say I have the same impression of your side, actually. Its... hard to view someone favorably when they've got a hand in your chest, wrapping corrupted fingers around your starseed... Or when they end the life of someone you know and make you watch them twist into youma. You can't blame other senshi for being upset about it and not everyone is as lenient as I am, I'm afraid. Trust me, I'm one of the ones who won't kill you." Reaching out a hand to grasp the railing of the stairs going up, she leaned out a little, looking down on him with her hair drifting down her cheeks.

"If you really are so innocent in this... you should seek out purification before you're too deeply mired in your corruption. Its not too late, you know, to switch sides." Okay so, maybe she was starting to sound like a Jehovah's witness... but how else did you tell someone they didn't have to be a monster any more? That there was hope to escape it? It might be to her benefit to work on her 'come to ourside, we have cookies' speeches.

Adonis found himself backpedaling to assuage her disbelief. He needed her to believe he had some semblance of good intentions if he wanted to escape their meeting alive; already he'd met senshi who didn't give a damn either way if he intended to assault someone or simply take a stroll through the rooftops of Destiny City. And if a senshi of his rank could kick his a** readily, what of an eternal? Those wings spoke volumes to her power and experience; Adonis cringed at the thought of facing her in a legitimate fight.

"Yes, well, my superiors see things differently than I do, I guess - wouldn't you, if you were in their shoes?" Maybe she wouldn't - after all, they remained on opposite sides for presumably good reason. "I can't pretend to know why they'd want to rip out your starseed, seeing as you're a nice girl and more than easy to look at, but that's not to say I'd do the same if I had the chance. I've never killed anyone before, you see, and I don't plan to start anytime soon." Conjoining his two jobs proved increasingly difficult to avoid, though - given the events of the convention along with choice later meetings, Adonis was hard-pressed to go a day without finding a prone form somewhere in the streets.

The last one had been a boy his age, with cropped, shaggy hair and a gaping hole where the back of his skull had been.

Given her new vantage point, Adonis watched uneasily while Ida approached. His eyes continually strayed to the unusual stripped stockings she wore, but he consistently wrenched his gaze toward her face when he caught himself visually exploiting his adversary. Still, he continued his slow retreat into the alleyways, desperate for some meager means of escape before she grew tired of his circular talk and sought to end him. "You can doubt me all you like, but do you see me draining energy from someone right now?" He fanned his arms out as he spoke, gesturing toward the entirety of the alley. "I don't even know how to pull a starseed out of someone's chest.

"The only starseed I've ever touched was my own. See?" Without waiting for her response, Adonis reached into the gaping hole within his chest and removed a glowing red stone in the shape of a diamond. At least, that's what he likened it to, but as he held the strange seed outward toward the approaching senshi, the odd glowing gem hovered ominously above his hand. It was strange to think of such a meager little stone as the source for his sustained life, especially when it glimmered through an obvious hole in his chest. "No one else I've run across has easy access to their starseed like I do. I've heard talk of corruption before, but it doesn't look corrupted, does it?" Adonis wouldn't dare voice his concerns over the Negaverse hunting him down like a dog should he defect - let her believe she might have a chance at convincing him.

Let her believe anything, as long as he survived the day.

The way he talked, the agitated way he acted... it almost made her think he was afraid of her and her mind wanted to reject that idea as soon as it occurred. And yet... and yet, she had to admit that she felt next to no threat from him, and while she had her new strength to thank for that, that same strength could be threatening to someone else. It slowed her steps and she leaned against the rusting iron as she watched him back away from her.

This was a sobering moment... she had never considered herself someone to be feared. Had she come so far? Ida wasn't entirely sure she was comfortable with this new concept.

The eternal senshi honestly didn't believe him when he said he didn't know how to take starseeds or that he couldn't gather energy... he was next to useless for his faction if that was true. And then, suddenly... he had pulled his starseed from his chest and she gasped in concern, moving before she had even thought about it. Her slender figure jumped from the iron railing and landed before him, her hands darting up to cup his and push it back towards his chest.

"P-Please.." She said, her voice trembling a little and her dark eyes huge in a dusky face gone pale. "Don't do that... put it back..."

Ida was far more concerned with his life and safety than anything else right now, thoughts of her own safety or the war being fought around them pushed to the side in favor of an instinctive, gut reaction. The sight of his seed shining there in his palm... delicate, lovely... struck her in a deep way. This was... so wrong... it was like watching someone dig their own heart out of their chest, pouring blood and all. Even though she could feel the chaos pouring from him, beating on her senses, it all paled behind a worry for his life.

Adonis cursed under his breath when he witnessed her impossibly fast movements - his eyes hardly kept up with the ease in which she jumped the rails or darted toward him, and before he could even recoil from the act, she was upon him and urging his hands toward his chest. Out of sheer reaction, he pulled his hands from hers and stepped backward to glean a little distance. Given his recent run-ins with White Moon senshi, he didn't trust her to avoid breaking him in half should she suddenly change her mind.

But he would weather such blatant fears in favor of gaining a little information while she was willing to deliver. "Why are you suddenly so concerned? It's just some strange little jewel that's been sitting inside my chest for so long. Can't you pull yours out and toy with it?" The final question stood in rhetoric, as she didn't sport the gaping holes that adorned his chest and head, so he figured that ability was beyond her at this point. No one had the answers to why Adonis possessed such eerie and unusual holes, or what use they had outside of disturbing himself and others. However, it wasn't until recently that he discovered he could pull the starseed outside his body and study it whenever the need struck him, so at least he now had a working knowledge of what his starseed looked like - he hadn't learned much more than that.

"I don't know much about starseeds besides the obvious - they sit in our chests and look like little gemstones that belong in a necklace. I know how to pull mine out, but I don't have the damnedest clue about what it does..." As he spoke, he gesticulated with the starseed hovering precariously over his index finger. Even as he bent slightly toward her to express his open lack of understanding for his own possessions, it sat unwaveringly as if waiting for her to take it. "Are you up to a little trade? Maybe tell me a little about this useless decoration and I'll put it back, no harm no foul?" He hoped for at least that much leniency - she already proved she possessed untold amounts of agility to reach him in such a short span of time, and he still reeled from that realization.

The more time he spent in her presence, the more he realized he desperately wanted to avoid pissing her off - if only to prolong his life a day longer. Meeting Penthesilea on that day clarified several points about the war, including how easily he could die to the right bloodthirsty individual. She hadn't presented any inclination toward murdering him, but he wasn't interested in writing her off just yet. He'd learned from too many poker games that the meek and innocent were the most potent players.

"Fair trade, right? Come on, consider it a favor at least. I'll owe you after this." Even though he considered that she might just do away with him out of sheer annoyance.

And yet again, she had underestimated his mistrust of her and had startled him, something she had not wanted to do. Ida lifted her hands defensively, showing him her palms. It was a reminder that she should probably be treating him with more suspicion than she was, but it was hard to be wary of someone who seemed so afraid of you. This had never happened before and she was honestly having a hard time dealing with it. She wanted to reassure him, and yet, he was one of the enemy...

"I'm sorry... its just..." She blinked in confusion, unconsciously touching her own chest as she frowned. "No, of course I can't pull mine out." Did he really think it was just some trinket that floated around in his body? Really?

Watching him play with his made her sick to her stomach and she pressed her lips together as she tried to calm the ache in her own chest. It was hard to understand his flippant attitude towards it when all of her experiences had been traumatic. Why hadn't his superiors told him these things already? Was he lying to her about not knowing? But what would he gain from her telling him what he already knew? The negaverse was worse off than she had thought if this was what they were putting out for officers lately. Or was it just their senshi they treated like this? So many questions...

Dropping her hands to her sides, Ida took a deep breath and blew it out between her lips, her shoulders rising and falling. It wouldn't hurt anything to tell him what he knew. It was mostly likely things he knew already, and if not, nothing he couldn't find out.

"Alright, look... that star seed is... its like the source, or the heart of your life force. Its very fragile and it holds a lot of your power. The only people I know of who can pull them out are people from the negaverse... and I'm pretty sure all of them can do it. Normally, having it pulled out is extremely painful and the person usually passes out when it happens... I know this from experience." She knew how it felt, though she had been lucky so far to have kept hers in her chest. "If... if its broken, the owner dies. If enough chaos energy is pumped into it, the person turns into a youma. Everyone has one, as far as I know, from civilians to senshi, and obviously the negaverse."

Ida waved a hand at the starseed he so blatantly displayed, feeling uncomfortable. "I assume that putting enough chaos energy into it, but not too much, is how you get corrupted to the Negaverse... Royal senshi can purify that corruption and bring you over to the order side."

Brown eyes studied the corrupted senshi with head tilted just a little as she tried to work out what was so very confusing about this man.

For someone infinitely stronger than him, Ida looked far more concerned than he was. Thus far, Adonis found it incredibly difficult to form a coherent opinion of the collective enemy - of the few senshi he met, they all appeared so undeniably individualized that each had a vastly different approach to him than the last. There was Medea, who took to flirting far more than fighting. There was Penthesilea, who much preferred to see him dead than a part of her team. And now there was Ida, who encouraged him toward defecting, as if to collect him from some heinous fate.

If he ever felt sure of his grasp for the fundamentals to this war, it was long gone now.

As soon as he heard the phrase 'the heart of your life force', the blonde hastily returned the starseed to its rightful place in his... hole. Suddenly he became unbearably worried over the easy, gaping hole by which anyone could reach in and effectively kill him, from what she described - and his uniform afforded a gold ring that effectively alerted everyone of that simple method of murder.

Come and get it, free kill walking the streets, he thought bitterly. Afterward he wondered if he'd ever seen a starseed-related death. However, if there wasn't a mess, he wasn't needed.

As much as Adonis wanted to distract himself by practicing this whole starseed-pulling shenanigan on her, he considered it bad manners overall. If it were already a cardinal sin to cop a feel on a stranger, then wasn't reaching into their chest toward something more valuable than their heart infinitely worse? Besides, she already suffered that fate at least once before. Why antagonize her with those antics when she hadn't acted on her easy capability of killing him? It wasn't like he had a death wish. "That's... unfortunate." A regrettable use of litotes, but it prevented him from fully considering the implications, as well as what it spelled for his future in the Negaverse.

Straightening up, he continued on a different vein of the conversation, complete with gesticulations sans starseed. "It's... got to be something like that, yeah. It hurts to be inducted, or corrupted, or however-you-want to-call-it into the Negaverse." That should've been his first sign that maybe his choice of faction wasn't idea. But who was he to argue at the time? And unlike the White Moon, all of his encounters with fellow Negaverse soldiers seemed were pretty positive. Besides, propaganda was a staple to war, from what he knew of it. "But what's so different about being a White Moon senshi like yourself? Didn't it hurt to get that kind of power?" And ultimately, was there really any significant difference between them aside from looks and clashing viewpoints?

Adonis crossed his arms over his chest, both a display of skepticism and a desperate need to bar access to any potential starseed theft.

Much of Ida's tension left her when his starseed was safely back in his chest. Without it being flung about, there was one less thing to worry her and she could better focus on this strange conversation they were having.

Thus far, she was honestly not sure what to think of corrupt senshi. Most had been eternal rank when she met them, like Ate, and cruel with it. Maybe this was just more proof that the more chaos you took in, the more it warped you... First ranks weren't half bad sometimes, but she had never met a higher ranked one that didn't want to kill her.

His questions were legitamate and they were getting down into the real meat of the differences between their factions. It was sad to think it had hurt him to corrupt... they probably all went through that, and how awful it must have been... and yet they lived with it, even fought to protect it. It was hard to comprehend.

"It never hurt..." She said softly, wondering. "Poseidon gave me a pen and I called out my name, and then I was surrounded in warmth and light. When the light died, I was this and filled with new power. It didn't hurt at all... nor did the times when I was given more power and grew to super or eternal. As for our differences... I don't know. I don't need and can't, actually, gather energy... or touch starseeds, unless someone has taken them out already."

How were they different, really? There were some key differences, but at the core... they were the same. It was just view points and goals that were different, maybe.

"I also don't answer to any higher authority, like I think you do. You have captains and generals, right? We have supers and eternals, but no one is in charge of anyone else... I sort of wish sometimes that they were. Its like new senshi get thrown into all of this only half informed, if that..." The flower senshi pressed her lips together as she shook her head, wondering if it was safe to be telling him this... "But we all sort of find our way and end up deciding to protect the people of this city from being used or attacked by the negaverse and your youma."

Okay so, truthfully... maybe she was hoping to plant the seeds of doubt in him. If it led to a conversion, or even just questioning about what he was doing on that side, she could call it a success. Maybe that's all it took... questions, posed by someone from the other side. She could hope, certainly. Every conversion, every person saved, was a victory.

The pen bit sounded familiar enough. He found it a little silly, especially when he considered the host of other (more useful) objects that could've bestowed magical power. Adonis preferred a hammer, or maybe a saw, or even a spraybottle - thus, he could regularly use his henshin pen in daily life without suspicion. But instead, they got stuck with pens that couldn't write. Disappointing at best, but he lived with it nonetheless.

But perhaps the most disconcerting piece of her testimony was that her transformation didn't hurt. No foreign hands entered her chest, no strange power enveloped her in a foreboding manner, no bizarre alterations to her body beyond a strange new outfit. He envied her, in a way; Adrian never appreciated pain and found it wholly prudent to avoid it altogether. The fact that he endured it for the sake of this faction remained a lapse in judgment, in his mind, but he never found cause to dislike the Negaverse because of it.

Overall, they proved more amiable to him than some of the White Moon he'd met.

Throughout her short explanation, the White Moon side sounded appealing. No pain, warmth and light, no ordained quota for gathering energy or the ability to touch starseeds. Essentially she existed with the same powers he did, but without the jarring physical imperfections bestowed by that power or a need for energy to sustain herself. But suddenly, the illusion broke - Adonis' practiced countenance did not waver, but his interest in exploring the ranks of the White Moon Court waned greatly when she mentioned a lack of superior authority. Tiers of power formed the very basis for the way he grew up - why would he subscribe to a court that had no authority?

"Really? No one is in charge of anyone else? How do you get anything done?" Oh wait, they didn't. That's probably why the war still existed to this day. "I don't think it sounds especially effective, but to each his own, right?" Adonis resumed edging away from her, though this time out of wariness than legitimate fear. Perhaps alien was the right term for their function - for an absolute deficit in authority sounded heinously foreign to him.

Even if a senshi life bereft of pain appealed to him, Adonis couldn't envision himself giving up the presence of structured rules and hierarchy as an analgesic.

"Since you're interested in protecting the people, you wouldn't mind letting me take my leave, then? I'm a citizen of Destiny City too, you know, and I'd really like to make it home in one piece - even if it means no energy draining. Seriously, it might be a little addicting at times, but it's not worth my life with an eternal senshi right on top of me." Maybe he laid it on a little thick, but her overwhelming aura suppressed his doubt toward her capabilities. Adonis figured that opposing senshi felt that strong because they legitimately had that strength - and he suffered more than his share of physical setbacks due to basic and even super senshi. He was loathe to encounter the prowess of an eternal.

"You wouldn't mind, Pretty." May the power of suggestion (and maybe a little prayer) preserve his life.

The teen shrugged as she clasped her hands behind her.

"Some senshi form teams... most respect the differences between the ranks. If you've made it to super or eternal, then you've learned how to survive and how to fight, more or less. I've heard that once we had a princess from the Moon, but no one has been able to find her in years. Me, I'm a bit more preoccupied with just keeping people safe... I guess I don't really care about 'getting things done', as you say, so much as just making sure your side isn't hurting people..." It seemed a never ending battle, that, but there was no way she could just stop and pretend it wasn't happening. Kind of sad, but there you go.

As he edged away from her, she dropped her arms to her sides again, her pose becoming more serious and, perhaps, a bit more authoritative. This was important... if there were only a way to convince him what he was doing was wrong, and yet she doubted it, so perhaps a warning might do... for now.

"I have no intention of hurting you. Honestly, I don't want to hurt anyone. I'm perfectly fine letting you go as long as you aren't hurting any of the civilians in the city, or anyone from the white moon side. But... please believe me that I won't just stand by and watch if I ever find you draining someone, or worse, taking their star seed. I don't want to fight you, but I will if I have to." His pretty comment made her cheeks redden, but she was more or less successful at ignoring it. "I... hope maybe we have a chance to talk again sometime. Hopefully its under good circumstances then too."

Some might say it was a bad idea to let someone like him go, but really... what else could she do? It wasn't in her nature to hurt him for no reason at all, and if anything, might hurt her position more. At least, it would in her own mind... she'd made a decision and she needed to stand by it.

"Good bye, Adonis. Be a good boy." She teased as she offered him a wave, turning to head back the way she had come.
