Physical Description: A lithe young female who stands at about 5'9". She seems to be incredibly thin, though upon closer inspection one will find it's all muscle, particularly in her arms. She's considered a beauty, given both her pale features and the way she holds herself. Usually her long, black hair is left free to hang down, trailing down her back. Some find her green eyes the slightest bit alarming in how intense they can be.
Personality: Catherine isn't exactly warm to others. She's very level headed, and could even be considered cool and calculating. She rarely shows affection to anything, and as such, hasn't been interested in getting married. She loves nothing more than to curl up in the family's library and read, particularly with the company of a quiet radio.
She's not too fond of her occupation, though considers it as if she has no other options and thus does it without complaint. While there are many who adore the sight of blood in the same line of work, she doesn't seem to care much for it, especially since more often than not, it's her own.
Catherine is also simply not a morning person. Her morning routine tends to be getting up and going to the bathroom to vomit, something similar to what happened 11 years ago that has followed her daily. She doesn't question it, and the family doctors have no solution for it. That being said, she also doesn't partake in much breakfast food.
History: The Mendela family is a small group of nobles, now reduced to a small lineage. Victor, the last head of household, passed away years ago, leaving his Widow and their three children behind. The new head, Atticus, is the middle child of the family, and has taken over his father's legacy. The eldest is Catherine, by only a year. Many have remarked on how she hasn't wed, though aren't surprised given her demeanor.
A number of years ago, the family had a number of enemies, and due to such, the children were taught to defend themselves. Catherine took better to it than her brother, and as a result, ended up taking her training a step further. She's become an assassin, though only for very specific targets, and only at very specific times. The majority of her targets are not summoners, and as such, prove easier than summoners might. She often gets wounded on the job, something unavoidable.
Truth be told, the family also has a bit of a scandal. The youngest sibling, Anette, is not a sibling at all, and is actually Catherine's daughter. While her true parentage is kept under wraps, the family is quite aware that there was a little accident when Catherine was only 16. While the timing isn't quite right with Victor's death, many people don't even question when they're told Anette is a year older than she actually is. Catherine cares a great deal about her daughter, something she can only do behind closed doors. Even the few servants that know are given incentive to say nothing.
