So we had that artic snap this past week, which is slowly moving on now.

But it was a new record of cold for me.

It was ~-32c (-25.6f) without chill factor and ~-40c (-40f) with chill factor. Which was pretty crazy, walking in that for 10 mins I had a nice wind burn starting to happen across my nose and cheeks.

So whats the coldest you guys have been in so far?

This year hasn't gotten too cold yet, just enough to keep the snow, but the coldest was when the thermometer in my dad's truck was either -4 or -6
Yikes

I've opened a -80c Freezer before... does that count? :XP:

Nah I live in North Carolina where I think the lowest I can remember encountering is about 10F (-12c), though according to the interwebz the lowest it's been while I lived here was 1F (-17c)

My grandparents live in Minnesota though and I can remember visiting them and it being about -10F (-23c)

I don't really know the coldest, but it's definitely not your coldest. maybe about -10f??? I don't know?

But apparently the record coldest temperature for Mass. was -35F back on Jan. 12 1981. Which is 9 years before my time. xP

It was 19 here this week.
It was AWFUL. I mean...ugh. Really.
It was what prompted my uncle to buy me a little heater lol.

Welcome to Alberta xD
I heard it was ~ -49C (with wind chill) up in Edmonton last week...
And I saw 5 cars in accidents just yesterday -_-
Surprisingly though, transit wasn't late at all (where I was anyways, I heard everywhere else was a mess)

Why would a freezer need to be that cold? Isnt anything below 30c just going to start doing damage to the protiens?

XD nice nice.

Yeah I think I saw that as well, I know edmonton is always at leat a few degrees colder.

I havent had to do buses, but trains have been fine besides the main day of the storm, where the trip I did took about 30 mins extra.

last night the train was about 20 mins late, but apparently that was because of a "passenger emergency"

When was the main day? I know monday was the actual blizzard, but more people came to my class that day than on tuesday (we were supposed to have a test, but only 4 people showed up -.-), when it was really cold, but no longer snowing (i think?)
