It has been confirmed that Charlie (Felicia Day) will be back later on in the season. Adam (Jake Able) and Gabriel (Richard Speight Jr.) might return sometime this season. No word yet if Garth (DJ Qualls) will return. A new unnamed character will be introduced in episode 20 which will serve as a backdoor pilot for a potential Supernatural spin-off.

I wonder what the spin-off will be about. Because it might not be that interesting if it's just one person who's also a hunter and it's basically a single-main character version of Supernatural. However, we'll have to see who this new person is before determining what the spin-off could be.
I'm expecting it to be somewhat like the spin-off of Dr. Who called Torchwood.

However, we'll have to see who this new person is before determining what the spin-off could be. I'm expecting it to be somewhat like the spin-off of Dr. Who called Torchwood. Torchwood wasn't amazing but I enjoyed it and I'd be happy if the SPN spin-off were as good as Torchwood. I'd really like it to revolve around a female hunter... that much seems kind of obvious. I mean, even TPTB have got to have noticed the dearth of female characters on the show, right?

If they do make a spin-off, though, I just hope it doesn't turn into one of those things where she's a girl so she's always getting hurt and being rescued in the nick of time by some other random attractive hunter man. Too much of that exists in society already. If it's about a female hunter, I want her to kick a**. Without having to be a damsel in distress or a total sloozy.

I also suppose it's entirely possible that they had planned on bringing Tracy back but the actress became unavailable. That's what happened with Missouri. She was supposed to be a recurring character, but when they wanted her again the actress couldn't do it. That's why they created Bobby, I believe.
