Sauron raced across the villlage to the hut Kelina lived in, he was in a hurry because he didn't want his soup to get cold. It was just made fresh, when it was at its best and he would hate to have to reheat it and risk the loss of some flavour. He knocked on the door and hopped from foot to foot.

Answer soon, he prayed. He was excited and impatient, never a good combination for a normally steady shifter.

"Oh yes everything is fine, I just made soup, foraged all day for the ingredients and I don't know how long it will stay warm so I was wondering if you would like to partake in it with me?" He gasped out in a rush. He was a calm unflappable shifter ...but not when she was involved. "Its the good mushrooms." He said.

"Your sister is welcome to come too if she is around." It wouldn't be fair at all not to invite the sister who Kelina thought of highly enough to live with, Sauron peeked around but couldn't see her.

He beamed at her. "Oh yes," He offered her his arm. And marched off toward his hut, he had a hammock too but he kept all his stuff in the hut and liked the novelty of a bed of plant material, after sleeping so much in the trees.

He went in and pulled out a seat for her, then set bowls of the steaming soup in front of her. And one in front of his seat. He sat down and said. "I found the mushrooms on one of the giant trees, I've found that the ones that grow on trees are more flavourful" Was he really babbling about the mushrooms. "How is the bow going?"

"Ahh am very glad to hear you like it! I'm sure just the mushrooms themselves would be good." He sat down and attacked his soup happily, "Mmmm."

"I'm glad you have chosen the right path, I am excited for you." He filled both their bowls up again and had just sat down when an odd noise reached his ears. A rustling, skittering, indignant squawking gossipy type thing. And then the noise went away, "Did you hear something?" He asked just as he stood up to go look a red sprite cannoned through the open window and right into his palms before curling against his chest and sqauwking at another indignant blue sprite that had followed her in.

"Um hi?"

Sauron snorted at the thing stealing her spoon but said "Hey!" indignantly when it dropped it on her the little pest. A loud chiding came from between his fingers as the red sprite unplastered herself from his chest and growled at the blue one.
"Siblings maybe?" He didn't let the little thing go yet as he could just see her settling beside the blue and a wing pulling fight ensuing.

"Wonder where they came from, perhaps there is a migration going on nearby."

Sauron sat down again and the little red ham snuggled back against him like a long legged cat, he made a perplexed face as he looked down at her.

Sauron's eyes watered he wanted to laugh so bad. "More of a pixie then a sprite if you ask me." His sweet little red purred and giggled. Then she crawled up to his shoulder and squatted there to watch her sister. She babbled in his ear in spritenese, which he couldn't understand at all so he had to watch her body language to tell what she meant.

"From what I can understand Naka is sweet and innocent and yours is somewhat less so." He grinned hugely. "Course," he whispered to Kel, 'she might have done something atrocious to yours before flying in and we wouldn't know."

Then again her sprite haaaad booped her nose, which still brought water to Sauron's ears. Naka stood up and shook her tiny finger at her sister, then she flew over and stroked Kel's nose as it to say, "See, nice shifter,"

Sauron couldn't take it, he laughed so hard he couldn't breath properly.

Sauron bowed to the two little sprites, "Your humble servant my queens." He grinned as Naka flew over to his bowl. "Okay okay just a sec, he grabbed two cups and filled them with soup, the cups were smaller then the bowls, more sprite sized he thought, and set them down before the two, then settled himself down to eat what was left. "Well that was certainly entertaining, you think if we feed them they will stay? Do you know much about them?"

Sauron felt a little spark at the contact. "Well if she sticks around, you could always ask for advice on sprite behaviour manipulation, I think starting a deep bond helps, but having things launched at your head is a bit of a rough start." He tickled Naka with a finger absently, while she playfully swatted back trying to get back to the soup.

"I can't wait to see what information your sister has on them, they look so interesting and complicated, not unlike the other two legged Tendaji residents if you ask me." He pushed his bowl of soup away, finally full. He sighed in contentment as only full males can.

"So what have you been up to lately Kelina?" Her name rolled off his tongue in a pleasant way, addressing her so directly made him blush the tiniest bit, and he wasn't entirely sure why, but the voice inside his head sure was. He wanted to get to know her better, find out what she liked what she didn't things like that, perchance go hunting, maybe she could help him search the radaku for a neat mount. It wouldn't hurt to pick a target now would it? He was so excited about it. What color would it be? A sweet purple female? Or a greenish male? The possibilities were endless.
