This OVA is really interesting, because not only Hanji Zoe made a huge discovery, she found a way to take in other Titans as test subjects. It was actually really nice of Erwin to accept her request to continue it as much as possible. In the OVA, I sort of felt bad for the abnormal titan. I'm curious about the part when it said:

I'm putting this in a spoiler tag just so I won't spoil others, but here's what I think;
Ymir is older than people actually think. She originally was a titan who gained a human form, somehow? Or along those lines at least. She apparently stole something from the titans though, and that's why they're currently after her. She said 'it was fun, playing goddess..', so deducting from those lines, she has definitely played some important role for the titans while she was one herself. Perhaps it was her ability to turn human, who knows. At least she's about 60+ right now.
