The young satyr moped as she recited her lessons for the day. She had been reading out of the dictionary and repeating the twenty words she had learned for the day. She knew that other satyrs didn't bother with such lessons so why did her guardian persist that she must? Sephrenia repeated the definition and spelling of each words while her eyes darted from place to place, checking to see if Paetrisah was about. The woman was no where in sight. The dark haired satyr slowly made her way for the door of their home. Giving one last look to make sure that her guardian wasn't there watching, she darted outside. Sephrenia ran with glee until she came to the edge of the village. Coming to a stop, the satyr smiled and spunned around for the freedom she now had away from her lessons.

Artemus mad his way to the village as he continued to play the flute Coyotes gave him. Coyotes had taught him a few notes and some simple songs. Artemus had wanted to learn more, but Coyotes was busy. He promised to teach Artemus more after Artemus got really good at what he was playing now. He was still fumbling with some notes, but that was probably thanks to the gloves he was wearing. He also was wearing his hood. Coyotes had made him put the sweater and gloves on. All Artemus new was it had something to do with keeping away from a sunlight and him being an Albino. He continued on his way and though he didn't see Sephrenia he could probably be heard by her.

Sephrenia tilted her head as she heard the few notes of a flute. Her eyes searched the area for the source of the music when she saw a strang satyr. He looked different. He had on heavy clothing and she couldn't see a single part of his true colors. She walked towards the figure quietly, not wanting to disturb him.

Artemus continued with his practicing as he scanned the Village with his blue eyes. It was the first time he really entered the village. After all, Coyotes did live a little ways away from it. He said he needed to live where he could have more land to tend to. He did love gardening and growing tasty vegtables. Coyotes stopped playing for a moment so that he could get a good veiw of the village. His light blue eyes moved form place to place.

Ishia pearked up hearing the music. It was the first time she heard any type of music other then the natrual one. It fiirst dawned on her how strange that must be to not have music. She looked around franticly for the muscian and fumbled with her note book.

The village was intresting, but Artemus couldn't see anyone around to play with. He sighed and went back to playing the flute. He was walking towards the Ocean as he continued the pratice notes Coyotes had taught him. a, b, c, d, e, f, and what was it. ohh yes, G. He thought of the name of each letter as he played them.

She watched, amused, as he continued to play without even noticing that she was present. It was strange that he could not notice her, but she didn't want to intrude though it might have been more proper to introduce herself Sephrenia couldn't help but listen.

Ishia caught her note book and slid off the rock. The music was close, but it was still a far way's off. She scurried off in the direction it was coming from, hoping to find out who it was who was playing.

Artemus now stopped and closed his eyes. He was trying to to concentrate hard on his lesson. He finished the scale and played a short quick tune. After he finished that, he whiped his forhead with his sleeve. He was feeling warm, but he couldn't take off his cloak. He saw Ishia coming up from the beach. He smiled and ran up to Ishia.
"Hello!" He said a little too loudly and too enthusiasticly.

Sephrenia stepped back in shock as the flute playing satyr ran up to another. She hadn't noticed the other girl and watched from behind the bushes where she had fled to. The two appeared to know each other the small satyr thought. She wondered if they would be her friend to.

Ishia waved at the hooded satyr. "Hello there Artimis. Where did you get the flute?" She asked flicking her tail back and forth happily. "I havn't seen anything like that for a long time, and hearing music." Ishia squeeled. "It's like seeing the stars again."

So the strange Satyr was called Artemus. Sephrenia continued to hover to see what she could learn. But as she heard the squeel her heart leaped and she fell forward out of the bush. She looked upwards with a dizzy head as the world spun a few times around her.

Ishia looked back at the satyr who fell out of the bush. "Hello... who are you?" Ishia asked?

"Coyotes gave it..." Artemus was disrupted by Sepherina. Artemus turned to look at the newcomer as she fell. "Ouch, are you okay?" He spoke rather loudly as he went over to help her up.
