Elena had beaten the champ, her idol, to get this far, and after that had promised that she would give it her all to win the whole thing! Although it was strange for her to try and act all serious as she stared down her opponent. Elena simply wasn't all that much of a tough-girl. She just wanted to play! Really! (rolling to see who goes first..))

Haini was ready to start another battle, and to prove herself. She had come so far already! She was fighting and winning, and she was giving herself such a rush of confidence for it. It was unlike anything she had ever felt before, in fact. Usually, she was all too familiar with defeat and embarrassment, as dictated by her genetics. She was just born silly and clumsy.
She had never been good at anything before.
Who would have thought, then, that she would make it so far in these tournaments, and actually end up in the final matches? There were just a few more steps to take, and she could almost claim something for herself, a small moment in history that she could remember as her own. She was finally not failing.

HP: 24 HIT: Miss Haini cleared her throat and moved to get the thing started. They were both there for a reason, right? Better to just barrel into it headlong and get things started. Of course, her haphazard charge was a bit wild, and she was not actually watching where she was going, just heading toward where she saw the other start from, and not anticipating where she might end up. Still, she swung her paw just in case.
