Name: Vyn'dali Race: Alkidike Gender: Female 3 Base Traits: Wild, Sociable, and Unguarded Personality: • Wild ; Unrestrained and uncontrolled, Vyn is very much one who would rather do what she'd like, when she likes it, rather then follow the orders of someone else. This often causes her elders frustration, but in her mind she'd rather learn by her own mistakes and grow from them, then avoid them all together by following their example. Though because of this she finds herself in problematic situations more often then not. • Sociable ; Being so free-spirited by nature, Vyn'dali finds intense joy in engaging in activities and exciting conversations with others. It's the sole trait she shares completely with her mother. A love for interaction and exchanging of personal and often times mystical tales. • Unguarded ; For all her wild and sociable tendencies, Vyn'dali is very unguarded with both her emotions and actions. In her youth, she is still very naive to how truly cruel another person can be to someone they dislike, or how someone can twist their words to try and fool another. She's had a taste of it from her mother's experience, but not enough to sour her view on life and others...
(Personality will be written nicely if I manage to get her/as I learn about her character more. Since this is a base for her interactions, but she might end up growing slightly differently.)
History: History has never felt final when it came to Vyn'dali's life. Everything's moving and shifting; Changing. Ever since she was a small bud on the great tree she was full of a hopefully energy for life. Born for her mother Dedali, a great women who found her passion for life through intricate stories. Vyn got to grow up hearing tales of great magic, courage, and love. Now, many of these are just passing thoughts, nearly forgotten on the edge of her memory when her mother fell into silence. Though one in particular that was that of a second bud on the tree that grew beside her was always her favorite and held close to her heart. It was a tale of life and death, and what her mother had described as her bud-sisters beautiful gift to her. Whether truly a gift of not, to her it is possible to change the past, at least she hopes.
But, maybe it'll make more sense to start at the beginning, and as Dedali once said, "One time under the great branches of Mother Aisha, a story was born..."
One beautiful morning on the isle Ekene, a young mother prayed under the great tree for new life and someone to care for. Each day she would stop by to say the same words, wishing and willing the safe growth of two small buds that she knew and felt in her heart to be hers. Daughter's she'd already named Eshe and Vyn'dali, the new inspiration to the vivid tales she weaved. Yet some point down the path something happened. Dedali tells it as a mystical tale where Vyn got terribly sick one night, her bud appeared wilted and small spots appeared on her leaves that weren't previously there. Everyone was baffled as to the cause, and it was deemed that she wouldn't last the week. That night she morned over the death of a daughter not yet born and slept in the roots of Aisha for comfort. Yet over night during her slumber something happened, the sudden sound of wings taking flight and the feeling of air buffeting her face jolted Dedali awake, but there was no sign of a bird when she peered around. And when she turned to check on the buds she was shocked to tears. There Vyn'dali was, as perfect as she'd been the first day Dedali's prayers were answered, yet when she looked at Eshe she was shocked to see the bud was gone! All that was left was a small spotted leaf, and a single sky-blue feather, a selfless act to save a sister. From the day she bloomed, Vyn'dali heard tales of this story, each more extravagant and awe-inspiring then the last telling. The descriptions so vivid, and feelings to real she was convinced this sibling truly existed, though there is not real account of such a thing happening.
Growing with such a fantastical mother, Vyn always viewed the world as a place where magic weaved it's way through everything she touched, a place where at the very heart of everything beat together in a way that made the world turn and the day change. Accidents weren't forever, and bridges burned between friends could be quickly repaired with a few treats and kind words. Simple, and beautiful. Yet Vyn proved that she was gifted something her mother never had from the great tree. Her youthful innocence left her with a wild heart that proved that where ever she went the chance of mistakes and dangerous antics were never far. She got herself into everything and anything she could find, anything from falling into the shallow end of water because she wanted to swim, (when she couldn't) to taking nasty tumbles out of trees that left her hurting the days to follow. Thought hey never stopped her, should she fall, she always picked herself back up and continued on her way to finding something else to learn and explore. Much to her mothers dismay. When she became a teen they finally left the Chibale isles to the awe-inspiring rainforest of Jauhar. (Work in progress.)
Bullet points explaining events of her childhood: (will be written nicely when muse is cooperating xD) • The pair take up home together in this grand forest, yet this time shortly into them moving there, her mother starts disappearing more and more for longer times each week. • One of the times she sets out to follow after her mother's night-time adventures and finds her with a shifter man. (Well what she assumed was a shifter from lessons she'd been taught) • She never meets the man, but she'd notice a chance in Dedali, she'd spend less time teaching Vyn with her stories, and more time lost in thought. • At this time she was old enough to become a prentince to another Alkidike woman, and would spend her days away learning the ways of a warrior. • Yet still once a month she would follow after her mother into the forests of Jauhar under the light of the moon to see what she was up to, and that she was safe. But on this night with the rain blanketing the area Vyn'dali lost sight of her in the woods • Returning to the home they shared, Vyn would wait for her, but neither her mother or the Shifter were spotted by the young prentince. As such she'd feel true sadness for the first time, her new goal is to become a skilled blade, and strong warrior so that she can explore the world effectively and maybe find out what hapened to Dedali.
Notes: The tale with Eshe is definitely just a story her mother tells her with no facts. Vyn'dali was a single bud of Aisha and never fell sick or the like.

Still writing some things out, like the history, but I made sure all the information I would cover there was up so it could be critiqued. Open to critiques/changing whatever is needed.
Got slightly carried a way. >n>;

Honestly, I like it and can't really find anything that I think needs to be fixed. I really like the embellishment of her mother's story to her about her birth, it's quirky and very sweet and gives depth to the relationship between them. I think that I can actually slap an accepted on this one unless you have something you wanna ask? And then I can cert her up and get a journal started probably next week.

JournalNow that you're character has been approved and officially has received a journal, you may RP and play with her as you wish heart You also have a one month probationary period. If your character's journal is not filled in within one month, she will be put back into the adoption thread for a new owner to quest for.
