- Sereem doesn’t fit the standard of temple-living priest very well. He’s a very fit man, athletic and lean in build, with a sharp, angular face and dark eyes that command attention. His entire body is tattooed with religious symbols, many of which are shaped in the likeness of stags. The majority of his tattoos are covered by his clothing, but a few peek out down the length of his hands and trailing along the base of his neck. He’s willing to show them off to the curious, and explain their meaning to the devout. Sereem wears his hair shoulder-length and loose, and keeps a well-trimmed goatee.
PERSONALITY
Incredibly religiously devout. While his native religious is very similar to Sunderland’s old ways, there are some marked differences. Sereem brings offerings for this spirits each day without fail. He performs ritualised prayer and singing at precise times throughout the day, and lives by a strict code which dictates his actions. He does all of this willingly, gratefully, and joyfully. He respects the spirits and the old ways and sorely wishes there were more believers in the modern age. As a priest, he is kind and generous to other believers. He’ll gladly help anyone who wishes to become a follower of the old ways. Sereem is effortlessly patient and dedicated to his disciples.
Not so to anyone else. He loathes atheists. They’re lower than dirt as far as he’s concerned, and they deserve to be eaten by wolves. Sereem wouldn’t so much as lift a finger to help a dying man, if the poor victim professed to be an unbeliever. He is repulsed by lack of faith and disrespect toward the spirits. Sereem isn’t afraid to let his opinions be known, either. He will quite happily and publicly look down his nose at an atheist.
Sereem exudes confidence. He is self-assured and unafraid of confrontation. He can quit often be seen as smug or arrogant to those around him, and he’s not insulted by the terms. He enjoys leadership roles and guiding others, and is not afraid to take the reins in times of danger. He is not against committing acts of violence, so long as they are made in self-defence or the defence of his followers.
