Welcome and thank you for joining The Divine Zaibatsu. This is Eighth Diviner, the founder of the Divine Zaibatsu. To start things off, I highly suggest you read our main Info Station before getting started on working your character.
Once reading, you can go on ahead and begin your profile. Please come to Profile Information to get the RPC skeleton fill out your profile request in the Pending Profile Request Subforum and when accepted, it will be moved over to the Approved profiles for you.
There is a sub forum known as Story Arcs Here is all our previous history story lines that have been completed so far. It would be wise to skim over to get a good feeling on where to start off at. Good day! Or night. Which ever you fancy.
I was invited to join this guild and after looking around a bit, I obviously decided to join. It has been a good while since I have been a part of an active and well organized role play guild, and this looks like one to me!
So! I am here to introduce myself, so here it is:
Nickname: I am called Io here on Gaia, and Mischief in real life. Take your pick.
Age: 22
Favorite anime or TV show: Hmm... At the moment I am fond of Orange is the New Black, Supernatural, and Sherlock. As for anime, I haven't watched it in a while, but when I did, my faves were Fullmetal Alchemist, Ouran High School Host Club and Trigun.
Favorite book: Too many. It's hard to pick just one. At the moment I am rereading a series by Tamora Pierce called the Song of the Lioness. I love the Maximum Ride series, the Midnighters series, and OH! Duh, my favorite book of all time has to be Peter Pan, by J.M. Barrie. There it is. Had to think about it though. Black Beauty and the Jack London books are close behind.
Hobbies: I love to draw when I am not reading. I train my dog, or hike, or ride my bike otherwise. Play video games when it's hot or I'm feeling lazy. Oh, who am I kidding. I play video games all the time. I do like hiking and stuff, but books, drawing and gaming are my three big hobbies.
What are you doing with your life?: I Would like to go back to school, but living in an expensive state makes it hard. I am about to move into my own apartment, and therefore have to get a second job. Currently, I am working as a cook and a cashier at the eloquent establishment of Burger King. Ooh-la-laa~ rolleyes Not too glamorous, but money is money. Life is life and life right now is pretty good.
What do you love about roleplaying?: I have always loved story telling, and before I discovered role play, I would write little stories by myself. When I was introduced to rp, I dove right in and never resurfaced. The idea of being able to tell a story, but also being able to react to responses you did not have to come up with yourself or have complete foreknowledge of is great, and it makes writing so much more fun. I've met many a good friend through role play, and one of my best friends in real life, along with my SO, we all get together and LARP (Live Action Role Play, for those who don't already know.)
What's a word that rhymes with 'door'?: Perfect Rhyme: Floor. Generic rhyme: Explore.
If in college, what is your major? If you're in high school still, what do you want to be doing? Um... Well, if I were in college, I would either be studying to become an arborist, or trying to get into the animation department. My dream job is to work for a major movie studio and help make animated movies, or become a photographer for National Geographic. Arborist is a more realistic goal for me.
Favorite music: ... *Deep breath* Rock, hard rock, metal. opera metal. symphonic metal, classical, classic rock, country (The older stuff mostly), hip hop, pop (80s and up), jazz, bluegrass, folk, new age, trance, dubstep, techno, (The previous three are not the same thing.) What am I missing? I like all kinds of music, OH! Cultural. Like Latin or African. I listen to a lot of different languages, but I don't know what they're singing about most of the time. Oh, J-pop as well. Little bit of rap. Mashups and cover music too, like from Postmodern Jukebox. Favorite band of all time? Oingo Boingo, for the win baby!

Hobbies I am an artist for a living, and as a hobby. Everyone asks me "What is your hobby outside of art?" I don't have one, because art is my LIFE. But, If I had to pick one that didn't apply to my job, it would be theatrical makeup. I love doing stage makeup on the side for productions at colleges and local public schools.
What are you doing with your life? School, work, ect- Right now I am a school teacher at a Christian school, where I intergrade religion into art. I work in ministry three times a week, guiding highschoolers and young woman to seek God further. I am also a mom. A dance mom! My daughter has a talent in performing arts and we kind of decided since it was obviously there, we needed to encourage something. So my weeknights are filled with theater and dance.
What do you love about roleplaying? The story! I cannot tell you how many guilds I have been in that are like "After 500 posts you level up to power 50000" Like get real. It's about the story. I love developing friend relationships and romantic relationships (fighting too) between my characters. And most of all, Roleplaying helps me develop a family outside of real life, my members.

If in college, what is your major? If you're in high school still, what do you want to be doing? I have graduated college already. I hold 5 degrees, and I'm working on my graduate admissions for Visual arts education and Art Therapy (PhD) But we will see how that goes.
Favorite music It's Christian actually. Could you have guess?! I enjoy a lot of mainstream music as well, ALOT of Rock, but most of all it's Christian worship music that plays in my car.

Favorite anime or TV show: For TV shows, probably Supernatural or Dexter at the moment. Also Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, Orange is the New Black, and American Horror Story are amazing. As for anime, Attack on Titan is amazing.

Hello all! I was invited here by the lovely Notchwood and took a look through and decided that this would be a lovely guild to join.
Real Name, or nick name you go by: My real name is Coral. Yes, I know it's pretty odd. I don't really have a nick name though. So if you want to come up with one feel free. biggrin

Favorite anime or TV show Right now I'm really into Finding Carter, Orange is the New Black, Spongebob (always)... I actually don't watch too much tv. Anime... I watch it every once in a while if I find a program that I actually can find interest in.
Favorite book That's like asking what taste best with ice cream. There are just too many to name! I love to read so I don't think I have a favorite book per se. I do have a favorite genre though and that's fantasy/romance.
Hobbies Well now that's a hard question. I don't have one to be perfectly honest. I can't stick to something long enough except my roleplays.

What do you love about roleplaying? Oh what isn't there to love! I love everything about it. The fact that it takes you to another universe. The fact that there isn't any bounds as to what you can be and what you can do. The limits are endless! It's just a creative outlet of my otherwise crazy life.

What do you love about roleplaying? Warning: your ears are about to be chewed off. Roleplaying is the embodiment of creativity and its expression on the face of a common medium, whether it's in a game or in writing or whatever. I'd like to think I'm an exceedingly creative individual, and I do more writing than I know what to do with, and I can't just throw it in someone's face without looking pretentious, so I enjoy being able to express my writing through interactive storytelling - in this case, roleplaying at its core. What's not to love?

Goku vs Superman: Depends entirely upon which Superman we are talking about. Golden age Supes would decimate Goku but Justice League Supes(animated series that was on CTN) would get thrashed by Goku. So it depends entirely upon the version of Superman you talking about so I will abstain.
