Appearance Description: Samuel is a man of slight above-average size, somewhat tall and muscularly lean in frame. He has black hair, straight and somewhat parted near his peak, that falls to the middle of his back. Sam has dazzling emerald green eyes with sharp black pupils, and his pupils often disappear in the vastness green color of his irises. His skin is a little pale, halfway between beige and white. He has shiny white teeth, though his fangs on both rows are pronounced, like a vampire's. Sam may be skinny, but he packs muscle behind his appearance, possessing defined pectoral, abdominal, and bicep muscles. His arms often have visible veins running through them. He has the roman numerals for 19 (XIX) tattoo'ed on his left wrist, and the Greek letter Sigma (Σ) tattoo'ed on the back of his right hand. He wears the standard Sternritter uniform, his cloak customized to be removed with ease and to be able to become something like a cape if Sam pleases. Sam wears his Quincy cross as a necklace underneath his cloak.

Character Strengths: Samuel is level-headed, able to control his emotional spectrum, and isn't easy to fool or agitate. He has a knack for strategy and noticing small details. Because of his calm demeanor, he finds ease in balancing the more hot-blooded natures of others, and his ability to always respect others causes him to not judge his fellow Quincy on any circumstances. His desire for fun within a battle allows him to be flexible in a confrontation if it does not lean in his favor.
Character Weaknesses: Samuel is loyal to a fault. The will of his King is the will he will follow despite his own personal feelings about his orders. He has a unavoidable desire to protect his King whenever he is within Tobias' presence, so he may come into conflict with other Quincy if they disagree with the will of the King. Sam's desire to have fun in battle may crash against his loyalty and it is no telling which of the two desires will triumph.

Fighting Styles: Samuel is a close-range specialist who uses a combat knife to rapidly deal damage at close range. At a distance he will use throwing knives to hit an enemy.
Stats: Samuel is at best stronger than humans, and strong enough to feasibly push against the spirit weapons of other Quincy and the Zanpakuto of Shinigami. As a knife-wielder, Sam has trained to be fast in his movements to make up for the lack of range on his weapon of choice. He is an expert Hirenkyaku user, and is able to rapidly move with Hirenkyaku in order to attack or dodge. He is also physically fast, and moves aerodynamically due to almost always using a knife in combat. Though not a genius, Samuel is a strategist and is able to come up with working plans during the heat of battle. Being a close range specialist, Samuel has immense stamina, and does not tire easily. It takes quite a bit of effort for him to become tired, as he has trained to increase his stamina through constant close range movements. Sam is not as durable as he'd like to be, and he relies on Blut for the majority of his defenses. He has a particular resistance to cutting injuries, but other than that he is vulnerable when not using Blut.

Quincy Abilities:
Reishi Absorption: Although Shinigami and Quincy both use Reiryoku when fighting, they both have a completely opposite fighting style. Shinigami use the spiritual power created from their soul in conjunction with a Zanpakutō to fight against the Hollows. It can be said they fight using a power from within. On the contrary, a Quincy uses the Reishi in the atmosphere, and combines it with his/her Reiryoku to create weapons. They fight using a power from outside. They have an easier time collecting this energy in environments with higher concentrations of Reishi such as in Soul Society or Hueco Mundo. To a sufficiently powerful Quincy, there is no difference between Reishi and Reiryoku as a source of power.
Spirit Weapon: The weapon that Quincy create by gathering the Reishi in the air. The only limit to a Quincy's ability to create and fire arrows is their own stamina and ability to absorb ambient Reishi.
Spiritual Awareness: As a spiritual being, the Quincy can sense Hollows and other spiritual beings at a significant distance, and tell in what direction they are in. Quincy have an acute perception of Reiatsu.
Hirenkyaku: An advanced Quincy moving technique. It allows for high- speed movements by riding on the flow of Reishi created below the user's feet.
Blut: A Quincy ability that gives one inhuman defensive and offensive capability. By making Reishi flow into their blood vessels they increase their attack and defense power drastically. Blut is significantly dangerous but it has one big flaw, the two forms of Blut for attack and defense work using two different Reishi systems, so they cannot be used at the same time.
Ratsosengai: This is a high-level technique that allows the user to control their body parts using strings of Reiryoku controlled by their brain, forming lines or strings out of countless Reishi. By using this technique, the user can control their body as one would a puppet, allowing them to move freely despite paralysis, broken limbs, or any other force that would impede normal movement.
