Need a place to stay for a while in the Human world? Have a spell you need or magical relic that is hard to find? Having trouble continuing your bloodline, or need a babysitter who isn't afraid of young uncontrollable powerhouses? Then this is the place for you!
Audra Ailith Home of Edel Condulmer
Located in the more rural areas of New York. This tiny town was abandoned and nothing more than decaying buildings and overgrown brush. The entire town was closed off for nearly a month, and an was reopened bran new. Many of the old buildings restored, while the rest were re-built and re-modeled to a more historic nature. Victorian, Art Nouveau, many aged and decorative architectural elements can be found in this small town. Such a quality is what attracts many tourists to visit the town.
Audra contains several homes that are open for new home owners, a large hotel complex, several small stores, an antique shop, a museum, and a small magic shop next to a large and beautiful park. The town is surrounded by woods and a seemingly endless natural and antique beauty.
The magic shop is home to Edel Condulmer, the woman purchased and re-invented the town. While the outside of the store looks small, the shop area inside is incredibly large. Filled with magical items, potions, clothing, antiques, and a private room for personal readings.
The rest of the building is Edel's personal home. With magic permeating every inch of the home, the number of rooms in the house seem to be endless and ever changing. Guest rooms, lounge rooms, indoor gardens, stables, underground storage and stables, caves... anything a witch with guests could want or need.
While only those who are sensitive to magical auras would know that the town is filled with real magic, most think that the only magic in the town comes from the "fortune teller woman". Most come to tour the town and return home with a souvenir or two, while others come for Edel's help or the protection and peace of mind her magically guarded town provides.
This is a side role play for anyone who would still like to play with their characters here, but are stuck or can't do much in the main role play. Have fun!

Victor walked inside the magic shop, not quite sure what to expect. He didn't see anyone around right away, so he began to go poking through the shelves, something that had always proved to be extremely entertaining in the past for him. He chuckled as he remembered some of the more interesting times he had done this very thing.

Speeding down the street, Akira followed the directions to Audra Ailith provided by her HUD sunglasses. Were it not for these, she'd have an incredibly hard time getting around. As she neared the shop, the redhead decreased her speed and parked along the curb in front. One look at the building gave off this feeling of mystery and wonder. Akira hopped off her bike, removing the small package from the back compartment. She really hoped this wasn't a bomb like that one time where an employer tasked her with delivering one. The explosive's timer was poorly timed and nearly claimed her life had she not tossed it. The only reason that memory had been recalled was because that package looked very similar to the one she held now albeit a little smaller.'Here's hoping...'she sighed, heading inside. It was quite the shock to see the large interior after witnessing the shoddy exterior. There was definitely something supernatural at play here and while there were many eye catching objects about, there was a job to be done. Kira removed her shades, pocketing them as she made her way to the front counter. As soon as she dropped this off, she could get paid and then move on to more important things. Unfortunately, there didn't appear to be anyone at the desk...but there was someone nearby."Excuse me, do work here? I'm looking for Edel Condulmer."

Victor shook his head and gave the woman sympathetic smile. "I'm afraid not. I'm not sure where the owner of this shop is." He looked down at the bag she was holding and looked back up at the woman and asked, "So I take it you're a courier?" Victor silently cursed himself for asking such a stupid question. "Of course she was courier!," he thought to himself. "Why else would she be carrying that bag and asking for the owner?!" Victor wished he wasn't so awkward around women. It would make his life so much easier.

Well that was unfortunate. The stranger was just a customer and was clueless on the whereabouts of the owner too. Still, since the shop was open, she or he, had to be around. It would be awfully irresponsible and bad business to leave the store unattended. Akira wished she could go look for them but it would be rude to enter the back. Guess it was time to wait by the counter... She was about to leave the guy when he asked if she was a courier. Following his gaze to the package in her possession, it was quite obvious how he could draw that conclusion."Yes. Yes I am... Did you want to hire me?"she asked, looking him in the eye. If he was going to hire her, she wanted to get a feel of what he was like and if he was one to be trusted. Just from appearances, she'd request payment upfront before delivery with this guy.

Victor shook his head, both in response to her question and to clear his head. "Focus!," he thought to himself. He Then flashed the woman a quick smile and said, "I'm afraid not. At least, not at the moment. However, if you have a business card, I would love to get one. I may need a courier in the future." As soon as he stopped speaking, he caught it. A hint of a certain scent that he hadn't quite expected to smell. The same kind of scent he himself had. He looked the woman up and down and nodded slowly to himself. Yes, she could definitely be one. Her build was right. In a very low voice, he asked the woman, "I'm sorry, I know this may be a bit rude, but, would you happen to by a lycan?" It had been such a long time since Victor had met another one of his own kind, he had nearly forgotten the scent. Or maybe he had just tried to push it out of his mind because of the memories it brought back. He quickly dispelled that thought from his mind. No need for that line of thinking in a place like this. He waited for the woman's answer, keeping his body ready to react in case she didn't like his question too much and was ready to let him know it in a less than verbal manner.

Akira stared at the man, as he shook his head and smiled politely at her. Apparently her services weren't needed at the moment which actually worked out for her. There were things she wanted to do personally before she took on another job. But this was why she made business cards after all. Well actually it was because the last time she was asked, back when she was starting out, the redhead didn't have any which took up time and wasn't good for advertisement. In any case, Kira reached into her pocket and pulled out wallet to provide her potential client with a means of contacting her. He would be given a white card with the title "Hiiro Kyūkō" with "No questions asked" underneath, her name, number and business hours which didn't include the weekends all in cursive red font. The crimson letters would shimmer in the light if he waved the card around. There was also a side message at the bottom that read: "Make arrangements at least three days in advance". Since she was always on the move, it helped her get to the client within that time frame to receive the package and then deliver. Akira noticed she was beginning to run low on cards and made a mental note to get more made. With that done, she pocketed her wallet and was about to head to the counter again when she noticed him oggling her. The courier was about to call him out on it when he blurted out something that legitimately surprised her."Am I...a what? No, I'm pretty sure I'm human. What are you tryi-...!"She paused, her eyes widening in shock. Back home, the vampires would call her Hiiro no Okami. Did he...recognize her or something and was trying to be witty by calling her a lycan? Her eyes narrowed as she looked at the man as she stepped back and slowly reached behind her should she need to quick draw.

Victor saw Akira reach behind her and he quickly held up his hands in a non-aggressive position and said, "Wait! There's no need for that!" Although Victor was a large man, and well practiced with the sword on his back, he knew this woman was faster than he was any day of the week with a gun. He then said to her, "The only reason I ask is because of your scent." He then made took exaggerated inhales through his nose to make sure she got the point. "There's a certain undertone that I thought I recognized. It would appear I was wrong." Victor gave her a shaky smile, hoping it would convince her he was telling the truth. Victor had no desire to obtain any new holes in his body today. "Besides, " he said as casually as possible, "If you were one, you'd have noticed my scent as well, right?" He smiled again, a little less shaky this time.
Before things could escalate or become any more uncomfortable for the two guests, a bell chimed from the other end of the room. A bell hanging above a door had been knocked back as the dark cherry wood was swung open. Standing in the middle of the doorway was a woman wearing an old fashioned black and brown dress. Her dark curly hair was tucked up under a wide brown sun hat with white feathers draping over the side. The woman looked across the room for a moment, then smiled as she noticed the two guests.
"Ah, I apologize for the wait." she said as she walked in, carefully closing the door behind her. "I had to tend to some work out by the garden. My gardener does a beautiful job, but I have some plants that need... special care. Mira must have stepped away from the desk to check up on the pets." She made her way across the floor and stopped just a few feet away from the two. She wasn't sure what had been going on while she was out in the garden, but she did know that the house wanted her to get to the shop rather quickly. The way these two were standing, it was safe to assume they weren't having a very pleasant meeting.
"I am Edel Condulmer, welcome to Audra Ailith. How can I help you two?"
I'm a soldier, born to stand In this waking hell I am.
Leering eyes locked on the man, Akira didn't move a muscle as she waited for him to make the first move. Luckily for him, he was able to use that window of opportunity to plead his case. His argument seemed sound...but did she really smell like a lycan? Was that why the vampires called her so? The woman hesitated a moment thinking things through when a bell chime broke the silence. Her eyes darted behind the man where the bell sounded, seeing a woman entering from a door. Seeing her, the gunslinger finally dropped her guard with a sigh. It would seem she had jumped to conclusions as this man was clearly a lycan and not a vampire. But after all she's been through, it was too dangerous to take chances."Sorry. I was thought you were...nevermind."There was no need to insult the guy by saying she mistook him for a vampire. The woman addressed the both of them, apologizing for and explaining her absence. Akira was just pleased the recipient had shown up so she could complete her delivery."Yes, I have a package for you Miss Condulmer"she would say, holding the small box out to her while unclipping a small tablet from her waist. There was a small stylus attached to the side perfect to write on the miniature tablet."I just need you to sign for it please."
Victor let out a sigh of relief and said, "It's fine. Really. I'm just glad it was straightend out." He grinned and stepped aside to allow the two to conduct their business. While they did that, Victor took this chance to poke around the store a little more.

EDEL CONDULMER The Witch of Fruition
"A package? Oh, well I appologize again. I wasn't expecting anything to come in today." Edel said as she moved closer towards Akira. She carefully slipped the gloves off of her hands and placed them down on the desk next to them. After making sure her hands were clean still, she took the small box from the girl and gently sat it down next to the gloves. She didn't ask where it was from. She was rather used to receiving oddities from colleagues, thank you gifts from previous patrons, and supplies from a few employees she had out gathering what she couldn't grow or harvest in her own home.
"Are you on a busy schedule?" she asked as she moved now to sign for the package. "If it's been a long trip, you're welcome to stay and rest for a bit. The Lounge is open in the next room, and you're welcome to refreshments." Bit of a habit. She enjoyed being a good hostess, and didn't think much of asking those just passing by to stay and rest if they needed.
She kept a small part of her attention on Victor. Another force of habit. She doubted the house itself would let him steal something and leave, but she was leery of guests looking around when she couldn't give them her full attention. Suppose she had her previous shop to thank for that. And a group of teenagers. She was able to get everything back, but it took a bit of a jab to her pride that so much could be taken right out from under her nose.
I'm a soldier, born to stand In this waking hell I am.
"No, actually. This is the last delivery on my list"she told the woman. Akira held the tablet steady as Edel signed her name on the line. Afterwards, she'd hit confirm to upload the proof and alert the sender that the package had been received. As the redhead did this, her eyes left the screen when Miss Condulmer extended an invite to her. Social gatherings weren't really her scene so she would normally decline the woman's offer. However, now that she wasn't working, she was free to go about her usual schedule."I see... Actually if I may have a bit of your time, I would like to take you up on your offer."That said, the device was reattached to her waist while the waited for her reply. Hopefully, the shopkeeper may know a thing or two about the vampires in the area and provide some helpful information. Kira couldn't help but look back at the guy she nearly drew her gun on, feeling ashamed of her actions despite how easily he let it slide.

Victor looked up and caught Akria's gaze. He gave her a lighthearted smile and a small wave, then went back to looking around halfheartedly at the items in the shop. Victor was mostly just waiting for the shopkeeper to finish up with the other woman. He was hoping to ask her if she knew of any good places to stay that weren't too far from here. His thoughts then turned to Akira. He wondered if she lived in the area of if she was just staying somewhere nearby. If she was just staying at a nearby hotel, he might ask her for the name and some directions. He looked over at Akira again. He also wanted to ask her a little more about what happened earlier. Victor was curious about what she had thought he had meant by his question.
