Talos walked through the park, arms crossed against the cold around her. She did feel better than if she had been similarly dressed in her normal state, but it still was starting to get unpleasantly chilly. Maybe she would be thankful for her uniform come summer, but it seemed a little like bad luck to awaken with only one sheer sleeve just in time for winter.
She knew whom she was supposed to be fighting, but she still had not actually run into any of them yet. Was she supposed to pick up like a police radio or some s**t to seek out the bad senshi by following civilian reports of their ********? Talos apparently had some kind of spidey-sense for energy signatures or whatever, but she was not even sure what those were supposed to feel like. Something in her brain buzzed around like whiny mosquito in a room in the middle of the night, but ******** if she knew what to do about it.
Powered up like this, she knew she was sturdier, stronger, faster, more agile, but Talos had yet to see exactly how it all actually worked. What were her limits with this new-found ******** up gift? She was about to just track down some sufficiently douchey-looking guy in the park and beat him up for the hell of it.

From her perch in one of the park's larger trees, Chariklo felt an aura not unlike her own brush against her senses. Not as strong though. So... a baby Dark Mirror? It was possible.
Curiosity aroused, she leapt from her tree and headed in the direction of the aura she'd felt. And when she found the source, well. Chariklo was pretty sure she'd be crazy hot if she didn't look so cranky. Still, she looked like "family". And Chariklo was not about to let family go by without saying hi.
"If you don't start smiling, your face may freeze that way," she called out teasingly. "And that'd be a damn shame."

At hearing the voice, Talos jumped a little, opening her mouth to lash out with a retort but stopping as she became cognizant of the aura from the stranger. It felt ... well, a lot more familiar than the voice sounded, anyway.
"Hey, I don't know you, but I'm not going to smile just 'cause a stranger said so," she called out, still feeling a bit prickly regardless. Granted, usually it was random men telling her to smile, instead, but.

Yup, this was a crankypants. Oh well. Chariklo still aimed a dazzling, crooked smile at the other girl and held her hands out slightly to show she meant no harm.
"Simmer down there, twinkletits. You look and feel like my type of senshi and I wanted to say hi. That's all."
Then, tilting her head slightly, she allowed curiosity to run rampant.
"What's got your knickers in a knot anyway. You look grumpy, you sound grumpy. Can't be healthy."

Unfazed, the dark-haired girl put her hands on her hips. "Hello," she replied flatly, clearly irked by the nickname. "I'm Talos. Not 'twinkletits'. Dumb nicknames tend to make me me grumpy."
Her first time meeting an ally - well, since she was awakened, anyway - and it was someone who wanted to be weird at her. Talos dearly hoped that the nicknames would not continue.
She could at least be thankful her uniform kept her a bit better-covered in the chilly weather.

"Ugh, fine. Take all the fun out of life, why don't you," Chariklo shot back with an exaggerated sigh clearly meant to show how noble and forbearing she was being in the face of Talos' decided grumpiness. "But you were grumpy lookin' before I said anything, so you can't blame me for your current 'tude." For her part, Chariklo couldn't decide whether or nto she liked this girl enough to keep bothering with her. Sure, she was family, but ugh. So grumpy. And as for dumb nicknames, well. Chariklo was pretty sure that she'd explode if she tried to hold all the sass in. Talos would just have to deal. "Why don't you put all that crankiness to some good use, Grumpy Cat?" she asked tauntingly. Suddenly, she wanted to see what this girl could do besides standing around frowning at everything. Besides, as far as hazing went, this was pretty gentle and Chariklo really did want to make sure of Talos before leaving her to her own devices. After all, it was unlikely that a youma or White Moon would be all that fazed by glares and chilly voices.

Talos quirked a brow in a clear indication that she thought the other girl was weird. She certainly was not making her feel any better, that was for sure. Being super-friendly with allies was cool and all, but the Senshi of Statues just did not know this chick well enough yet to put up with being called anything but her name.
"Sure," she replied with a shrug, clenching her fists and glancing down at them. "You've been at this magic s**t longer than I have, but I still have some fighting experience." Maybe if she won, she could insist on a ban on nicknames.
Taking a balanced stance, Talos tensed and prepared to fight. On one hand, different, with the strange outfits but the strange strength that came with them; on the other, familiar, like no shortage of self-defense classes. Just ... more serious, right?

Smirking was the only possible way to describe the look on Chariklo's face as Talos gave her warning about fighting experience. Okay, so maybe the stuff she knew was a lot more structured than Chariklo's own School of Hard Knocks style brawling but still. Did she think that Chariklo magic'd her way out of everything?
Ridiculous.
Without bothering to speak, the tall senshi grinned tightly and raced for Talos, only at the very last moment did she shift her weight so that as she fell, she would slide a bit. And she fully intended to grab Talos' ankle as she slid and pull the girl off balance. Maybe shake her up a bit.
Either way, this was gonna be good.

Talos was definitely not expecting the other girl's attack to come in low so suddenly, for sure. As she was readying a punch, Chariklo grasped her ankle and pulled, and the purple-haired girl stumbled. Right, this would be more mixed martial arts, and less structured dueling....
She managed to keep her footing well enough not to fall completely, at least. For all that her uniform reminded her of a sari, Talos was thankful it lacked the restrictive skirts; the leggings, while thin against the cold, still did allow her a good range of motion. The single sheer sleeve felt strange nonetheless, though, as she dropped to one knee and swung a fist downwards at the other girl. Talos aimed more for the shoulder than the face, though, realizing she was kind of not sure just how sporting this match was meant to be - weird and annoying as the other girl was, they were supposed to be allies, right?

Too slow. Chariklo ground her teeth as the other girl's fist drove into her shoulder and she scrambled back. Too damn, ******** slow. Rocking to her feet, she probed her shoulder and decided that while it hurt, she'd live. Whether or not Talos would was a whole 'nother question.
Still grinning like a wild thing, the tall blonde considered calling on her magic, just to see the inevitable look of startlement that always accompanied the rush of magic. But no, not yet. Instead, she decided she would just play even dirtier. Eyes scanning the ground, she knelt quickly and scooped up a small handful of pebbles and dirt. And just as quickly threw them directly at Talos' face.
And hey, if that distraction worked, she had a fist she really wanted to introduce to the other Dark Mirror's gut...

A smile had just flickered across Talos' lips when a fist full of gravel and dirt hit her in the face. Throwing one arm up to try to defend herself as well as she could manage, the Senshi of Statues spat and tried to get the bits away from her eyes as quickly as possible.
Okay, this was going to be even dirtier than she thought.
And then her stomach met Chariklo's fist. Coughing, Talos staggered back, and finally managed to get the grit out of her face. Then she flicked her braid back over her shoulder and rose carefully to her feet, one arm still folded across her midsection.
"I'll just have to get creative, I guess," she growled, trying to figure out what to try next. Then the Senshi of Statues raised her fists in a ready stance again, and called out,
"Talos Brass Knuckles!" Might as well see what it did here in practice before she had to use it in real battle, right?

For a moment, Chariklo stood there feeling decidedly cocky. THat feeling vanished quickly as one of Talos' fists drove into her and knocked the wind from her lungs. Holy, sweet Jesus ********, how had her punch gotten that heavy? Curling in on the fist in her stomach, Chariklo found herself gasping for air, fingers clasped around Talos' wrists.
Well, if this was how they were going to play, Chariklo would have no compunctions about calling up her own magic.
Just as soon as she could breathe again.

Talos' eyes widened as she knocked the wind out of the other girl, clearly surprised at the force herself. Sure, she knew how to throw a punch, but that was crazy. Brass knuckles indeed.
"Damn," she breathed, a moment before her mind snapped back to the battle at hand and she realized the other girl had her wrists now. A scowl returned to her face, and she jerked her arms, trying to break Chariklo's grip. The Senshi of Statues was pretty sure she was going to get it for that punch as soon as the white-haired girl recovered, and she wanted to put some distance between them before that happened.Twilight Jaws (( Lost the link, sorry DDD= ))

Chariklo mamnaged to suck air into her lungs just as the other girl began trying to pull away. Grimacing, she held on as tightly as she could, mind racing as she tried to figure out the best way to get herself a little revenge.
Mind drawing a blank, she went with the best thing she could think of and threw herself backwards, pulling the other girl with her. As she fell, she drew her legs in closer to her body before kicking up, hoping to catch the baby dark mirror in the gut and send her flying.
And just in case that didn't work, she hissed out the words that called up her magic.
"Mobbing Cry!"Sailor Chariklo emits a harsh, squawking call that seems to come from more than one throat and it feels as through a small swarm of wings are attacking. Able to perform three time per battle if needed. The attack is now able to encompass 2 to 3 people if they are not standing too far apart (about a 5'-7' radius). The targets are now in danger of being knocked silly as well as painful bruising around the head and shoulders. Also, the wings take on just the barest, tiniest shimmering definition of shape. Attack duration is now 30-45 seconds. Also, should the main target of the attack try to escape, the attack will follow them for about 5 seconds.oneironym It happens! No worries <3
