Hey there, so I’m looking for a good one on one role-play. I play both male and female characters though at the moment I would prefer to play a female as I’m already playing a male in a couple threads and I like to remember that I’m a girl every now and then.

I’m addicted to fantasy set in any time period or whatever kind of world and I really only have one idea of my own that I would love to do, I’ll add that down a little lower in story form.

I’m a lazy lit to semi-lit writer who’s hoping to improve her skills and as long as you give me something to work with I can match whatever I get. If you want to see how I write just go check out my posts and you’ll find my samples. Also, I can post at least once a day or every other day and on Friday’s and Saturday’s I can post multiple times; I live in the USA in the east coast if that helps at all.

If you’re interested in shooting me an idea of you’re own (I’m open to pretty much anything but if I’m not into whatever you’re trying to sell I’ll tell you) or helping me give into the urge to write my idea below shoot me a PM or just quote me here. I prefer using threads but if you absolutely just MUST rp via Pm’s I can be convinced.

So this is big on fantasy and magic, eventually a little romance, which means I’m looking for someone to play the guy role in this. Best way I can describe the plot line is like Beauty and the Beast.

She stared at the silver cuff bracelets sitting prettily in the velvet-lined box with their clear gemstones winking in the light. Gray eyes flickered up at the person holding the box and frowned at the serious face presented to her.

“Do I have to?” She sighed, leaning away from the box as if they were going to jump out and bite her if she got to close.

“Yes, it is not just for your safety but the safety of everyone around you Amalee.” The age-roughened voice gently scolded her. Kerith was the only elder that spoke and the only one that carried out whatever decision or punishment the whole council decided on so one either learned to love or hate seeing him. While Amalee knew something had to be done about her and the magic she couldn’t seem to control she hadn’t thought they would slap those babies on her wrists though in hindsight she should have known it was going to happen.

The bracelets, while pretty, were magical shackles; as soon as she put them on they would conform to her wrists and control her magic for her to an extent. They would allow her to only use a certain amount and if she attempted to go over that point they would cut her off…painfully.

“But,” She started to protest and was abruptly interrupted.

“No, you know you need these. Your magic will draw Him to you if you are not careful and we both know you are anything but,” Kerith held up his hand to stem the protest he saw forming on her lips, “I know you cannot help it and that is why you are getting the Suppression Cuffs instead of the Withholding Circlet. You will need to be able to defend yourself and if we simply took your magic you would not be able to do that. However, after you last, ahem, accident He could even be on the way but if we control it now we can make you harder to find.”

Kerith suspected he had won when she sighed and he knew he had indeed claimed this victory when she held her arms out and looked away. He gave her a sad smile as he slipped the bracelets one then the other over her hands. The moment they settled around her wrists the stones on them flared brightly then turned a smoky blue that seemed to swirl and they no longer sparkled. She only winced once then dropped her arms, resisting the urge to rub at the cold metal.

“Really, Amalee, it is for the best.” Kerith patted her shoulder gently which she promptly shook off, turned on her heel, and left the room. He heaved a sigh and looked towards the door as she vanished through it. “We did the right thing,” Kerith spoke softly as eleven robed figures stepped from the shadows nodding their agreement.

Amalee was the most powerful sorceress that had been known since Him and she still wielded more power than the more feared man of the realm. His name was never spoken for fear that He would hear it and hunt down any who dared speak it. The two of them differed greatly where it mattered, however. Where He had worked hard from a young age to gain knowledge and power and had even stolen it from others who could practice Amalee was simply born with enough power to flatten half the realm and she came with no control switch. She was the key to His destruction so said the prophecy.

“When she who is born with the strength greater than that of him, she will bring the dark into the light and he will meet his end. But beware her power for it is untamed and he can claim it all. He may not force it from her as only she can give or withhold and choose the Fate of All.”

They knew He could track her, He could track any magic large enough and thus her entire life had been one attempt at keeping her hidden after another, never staying in one place very long, shorter if she had an accident they couldn’t cover up. The magic she held couldn’t help but explode from her whenever her emotions were strong enough as it reacted to her feelings and thoughts.

“The darkness grows, Kerith,” a twelfth figure appeared in the room, shrouded head to foot in a blood red robe with no hint of the wearer showing beneath it. Kerith and the other elders immediately fell to their knees and bowed their heads.

“We are trying, Seer, but the girl grows more unpredictable, stronger even, each year.” Kerith spoke solemnly, never once looking up.

The Seer spoke again, many voices blending into one softly echoing voice, “You cannot stop Fate but your efforts carried out this day will not go to waste. You have done well but now it is in the girls hands as he will soon make his move.”

Just as soon as the Seer appeared they were gone and the elders slowly got to their feet. They knew what the warning meant; He was gaining more power, more abilities, biding His time until He could strike and take Amalee from them and her power from her.

“We have to move her…today.” They may not be able to stop Him but they could try to gain more time. Little did they know that in the chaos of moving her to a new location they would provide the perfect time for Him to grab Amalee in the only moment she would be unguarded and set the wheel of Fate into motion.
