Oh my gosh, that's awful! D:
I'll definitely pray for you. Did everything go okay at AT&T? Did they do anything or tell you what could help?
I got the problem fixed I think, what happened was that I downloaded an app called Whisper, and it was messing with my texts. They took it off and did a hard reset if the problem persists they said that I would have to take my phone to the Apple store for the technicians to work on.
And somehow the person sending the bogus texts through my phone got my bank info, I was overdrawn by ten dollars. The bank fixed it though and I didn't have any penalties or anything. So it's working out, it was definitely a scary situation though.
Good to know, I'll certainly be avoiding that app. Usually I try and google any apps before I download them to make sure they're safe if they aren't from a company I'm familiar with. Some apps don't have a lot of information on them, though, which makes it a lot harder. In that case I usually read other people's comments on it, but that's not always accurate because a lot of viruses will use fake accounts to give their app a better rating. : /
I'm so glad that the bank fixed everything, and that AT&T was able to help! :3 I hope you don't have anymore problems with whoever stole your number and bank information, I'll be praying that everything stays well. :3
I bet, that sounds really scary. D: I'd probably totally and completely freak out if something like that happened to me. Smartphones hold a lot more information about us than people realize, so it's a pretty scary thing when something like that happens.
