The lands of Aisko were cold, very cold, making Junjie wish to himself that they had been lucky enough to find a whole pile of those heated stones, if that had been the case it might have been a little easier to travel in this place. If nothing else at least he'd known what he was in for and had seen to it that he had gotten some thicker, warmer clothing to wear. A nicker cloak as well, wanting to keep them all nice and warm, "It's just a shame that neither of you are Firani, we would be much warmer." He teased Abellio and Arjan, getting a grumbling sound from both of them, as though they were unamused by his words. Of course he soothed them a moment later by giving them each a hug, "Come now, you know I love the two of you the most."
They had come here for a change of scenery, some training, and because it was yet another place that seemed as though it would allow them to travel without being bothered by outsiders. Until he was able to figure out the problem with his wings. Maybe if he was stronger he would be able to manipulate the powers that allowed him to hide his wings once more. This really was a bother, he should be out and about, helping others right now! He shouldn't be forced to deal with such a strange hiccup caused by his mixed blood. He hadn't had such a problem before now, his mixed blood had been almost helpful, allowing him to be a more powerful healer then he might been otherwise. Yet here he was with his wings stuck out, one set scaly and one set feathered, announcing to the world what he was, "I'd of like to have ease myself into the world." He mused, sighing a bit.
The Drakein glanced at each other, over at Junjie again, before both gave him affectionate nudges as though to sooth him. Both seemed to want to help but given that his power to hide his wings was something neither really understood they were at a loss how to help. Of course as they were nuzzling on him Arjan was suddenly jerking his head up to the sky, giving a snarling sound, and all sweetness seemed to be gone from him as he realized that they weren't alone, there were dragons! They were being circled by a pair of them, likely being sized up, to see if they were a potential meal. The Kiandri snarled, teeth barred, before he snapped his teeth in their direction. His actions drew the attention of Abellio and Junjie both, making them look up as well, and instantly they were at the ready too, waiting for the possible attack... but the dragons merely continued their circling. It was a rather unnerving thing, to be watched in such a manner by creatures that would only be too eager to attack them given the chance.
Junjie lifted a gloved hand to rest it on Arjan's neck, "They won't come down, not yet, we will need to stay on guard though, there is no telling when they will decide to come down. Are you ready for that?" The question was for both of the Drakein, not just Arjan, both of whom gave rumbling sounds to signal that they were in fact alright with what he'd said, they wouldn't let those Aiskala get the jump on them! Given that the dragons were merely circling, making their intentions clear, and the three of them were going to have to stay on guard for the time that the dragons finally decided to strike.
