DysFUNKtional Duck mimi the amoeba Thanksgiving was a month ago, you dummies. Happy (belated) Thanksgiving, you Americans. xp emotion_bigheart We invented it, we decide when it is, Canadian heretic. : P Who are you calling a heretic, when it was you who rebelled against the Holy British Empire? : P If we wish to get technical, I believe it was the Spanish who first celebrated a sort of Thanksgiving ceremony in the 1500s, albeit on the soil that was to become Florida. Also, I heard there's a winter blizzard going on in the Southern United States? Who are you calling "holy", when you guys were with the French the whole time? And might I remind you, the French were with us. : P I believe Thanksgiving was first proposed by an American woman during the civil war, not having anything to do with the pilgrims, but as a day of thankfullness to god. pffffft The souths idea of a blizzard is like half an inch of snow. rolleyes I have no sympathy for those pansies. Let's just see if they can dig themselves out of that terrifying half inch layer of fluff. Smart money says no. : P
