Build: Small. She’s sort of doll-like and looks like she should be rather fragile, but tends to surprise people with her resilience.
Bust: A cup. She’s a little sensitive about it, and doesn’t like it being mentioned.

Height: 4'11" (150cm)
Weight: 90lbs (41kg)
Hair: light salmon pink (because anime genetics). Waist-length. Naturally curls a little bit, but she curls it into ringlets manually.
Eyes: aqua-blue
Skin: somewhat fair
Voice: High and chirpy, but with a certain softness. (Taketatsu Ayana or Kadowaki Mai)
Clothing and style: a cherry blossom hairpin; her Ouran Academy uniform; sweet, girly fashion, usually in light/pastel colours.

Personality
Overall Personality: There’s an initial shyness about Shiemi, mostly due to her lack of practise dealing with people face-to-face. But once she’s comfortable, she becomes cheeky and playful – to the point where she’s actually a bit of a prankster.
She can also become slightly tsundere if the tables are turned and she’s on the receiving end of the playful teasing. She doesn’t deal well with being embarrassed, and her strategy tends to be to try to deflect the emotion back. She finds strong emotions generally kind of scary, since before now, everything was safely fictional with cheat codes and handy tutorials on how to score each character. Real life emotions with real life consequences are terrifying.
Shiemi can also be a little alarming in how her sweetness contrasts with occasional threatening/creepy behaviour.
At her core, though, is a steady, gentle warmth. Acceptance and understanding are very important to her. Just don’t mess with her sketchbook.

Likes: art, manga, games, cute things, scary things, sweet foods, citrus

Dislikes: conflict, people who are condescending and/or prejudiced, loneliness, feelings she can’t understand, bugs

Strengths: she has a strong artistic sense, and is also quite good at reading relationships. She's quite intuitive about the chemistry between people. While not particularly academically orientated, Shiemi is also quite clever, and is good at finding loopholes within any set of rules.

Weaknesses: Tsunderes. While good at reading the relationships between other people, Shiemi finds her own relationships significantly more confusing. Not half because of her tendency to suppress and deny her own feelings (romance is a new and scary territory to an ex-shut-in, after all).

Fears: harm coming to loved ones, drowning (Shiemi can't swim), bugs

Strange Gestures and Obsessions: tilting her head to one side when she smiles. Clutching her sketchbook like a security blanket. She has something of an obsession with moe things, though not always what’s typical: cuteness with a twist (especially badassery), and things/people who seem least likely to be cute with an unexpected adorable twist… these are her weakness.

Social Life
Family History: Shiemi comes from a wealthy family; her father, Takahiro, is the CEO of an electronics company, a position handed down to him by his father, who founded the company. Her mother, Mai, comes from an old family of a somewhat noble lineage, and now controls marketing/publicity for the company.
The marriage between Takahiro and Mai was an arranged one, which, after some initial doubt (mostly from Mai -- because really? Is this guy for real?), turned out to be a genuinely affectionate relationship.

Personal History: She started life as normally as you could expect from a family like hers – but she had a weak immune system and a bad case of asthma, which soon caused her to be isolated into home-schooling from about six years old. Her parents, while doting, were often away overseas on business, meaning Shiemi spent most of her time on her own (minus the company of house staff, of course).
It might’ve been a sense of loneliness that drove her to draw – surrounding herself with creations to fill the spaces left behind by what she didn’t have.
Shiemi spent her days drawing and playing games, living life primarily through a fictional world, until just before entering high school, her family’s doctor deemed her healthy enough to attend school without concerns.

Hobbies: Art is her passion, and she’s rarely – if ever – caught without her sketchbook. She loves games and manga, too – adventure, thriller, horror, romance, comedy – pretty much everything. Shiemi likes learning other languages, too, and is quite proficient in English in particular (which comes in handy for some of the games and movies she fangirls over).

Special Skills: Art (of course), reading relationships, finding inappropriate undertones to just about anything, finding loopholes, plotting and scheming, scaring the easily-frightened, ballroom dancing (to a competency level expected of people of her lineage).

Primary School, Middle School, and Extra-School Activities: home-schooled until starting her first year at Ouran High School. Frequent contributor to Moe Moe Journal.
