Personality:
Although Yakō is socially awkward and tends to be asocial, she does not actually dislike other people. Instead, she is fiercely wary of others who approach her with ulterior motives. In addition, he can be quite protective of people she cares for, a trait that Decus used to tease her about. Yakō Tsuki is calm, taciturn, level-headed, and analytical, preferring to not engage in combat directly. She is content with silently observing both parties until the fighting reaches its conclusion. She strongly opposes the notion of harming others, especially if done to gain power.
She now pretends to be a naive slacker who dislikes paperwork and loves to drink. She is not the slightest bit modest about her appearance, frequently referring or complaining about her large breasts in normal casual conversation, much to the embarrassment/amusement of anyone around at the time. She is also not above using her considerable feminine charms to get her way. Because of her kindness, it is shown that Yakō has a positive effect on most people; Ren Gitsune even stated that this is her greatest power; comparable to the sun, noting that people who have contact with Yakō have their hearts "illuminated" without them even noticing, and more often than not restoring something that their heart has previously lost.
She is considerate, understanding, and at times, headstrong and stubborn. Yakō tries to remain positive in situations others deem hopeless. She tries to cheer up her friends when they're down and see the bright side of things.
Yakō is very sympathetic toward everyone, and is also very good with children. No matter the race children are always fond of her. Yakō is a very wise woman for her age, and quite deceptive. She willingly helps out young witches who look her up and she would willingly give them tips and facts to help them out. While she may seem to be a troublemaker at times, she has a good heart and wants to help out anybody who has shown her kindness. Of course, she has no trouble punishing those that needlessly and intentionally hurt other people.
History:
The Twin Moon Trinities Harmonizer:
Along with Decus and Lumina Tsukikage she is also a guardian of the Twin Moon Swords. Yakō is named for her mothers branch of the Clan that specialized in barrier techniques and sealing demons. While Lumina made weapons Yako's talent lied in magic tools,and garments. When it comes to raw magical power Yakō is the most powerful of the three.
The Lunar Scholar:
Gifted with a unexplained natural talent for magic,and she began studying it devoutly. Even in her young age, she was able to write an in depth thesis on magic. During this period in her youth she found fascination with the wizard Eibon and sought to find his book. However this quest proved a waste of time,but she still has the desire to study its contents. She moved her research focus to Spatial Magic as well as Magic Tools. Due to her desire for knowledge, Yakō developed extensive research work throughout her years, performing experiments on multiple old technologies to comprehend their capabilities and improve or develop new ones. As she reached her adolescent years, Yakō found that she was considered very popular amongst Sorcerers,and other witches. It soon became apparent that these individuals were not interested in her for her personality or her ideals. Yakō then used this superficial interest to her advantage, and slowly built up support for her research. She was educated at the DMA, where she graduated at the top of her class,and became one of their most successful alumni. Among the Witches Order Yakō is generally a loner and has reservations about the coven, due to unpleasant experiences with witches who sought her out only to exploit her talents.
Moonlight Executioner
It is common knowledge around the Witch Realm that Witch Prison Majo Rougoku ) is a prison for criminals who have dared tried to act against the witches. That which is unknown is the location of a great training camp the retrieval forces are trained. In exchange for her sister guaranteed protection Yakō agreed to join the retrieval force. After a few years of working under the retrieval force , Yakō grew to distrust those in the upper ranks, deeming the Order only being interested in her and Lumina for their rare abilities. As Yakō left the witches out of guilt for the deaths they she caused in the past, Lumina stayed to be trained.
The Mirror Flower & The Moon Lotus:
While out at the market on day, she met Rihan Nurarihyon. As she yelled at a shop keeper who was being rude to him, Rihan turned around and was knocked down by bumping into her bosom. She then yelled at him for "lying there crying about it and not standing up like a man", although it was her who knocked him down with her large breasts in the first place, he shook her off and ran away. Later that night, Yakō unintentionally followed him home. Her original intent was to speak to his mother Retsuna The Tengu Witch and seek her teachings. In doing so,and sticking around she became friends with the young boy. It was during one of their quiet times that Rihan asked her when her birthday was. Yakō replied that she did not know as she never counted days until she met him. Following the revelation, Rihan told her that, that would mean that the day they met was her birthday to which she blushed at. She thinks of Rihan as a special person, and always gets jealous when girls are around him, becoming a very different person when she sees him and other girls together, or when it comes to training. It is usually unclear how Rihan feels about her;because the two are rarely seen together. However,she is in love with him.
The Crow and The Moon :
She took up tutelage under The Tengu Witch Retsuna Nura. For many years, Retsuna had tutored apprenticing wizards and witches, and has taught some of the most powerful. Yakō became one of her last pupils, and one of her best. Under Retsuna Yakō's natural gift for magic flourish, and she became quite skilled. Years later it was revealed Retsuna,and Yakō's mother were once childhood friends,and soon Yakō became like a second daughter to her. Yakō would constantly watch Retsuna's young daughter Yosuzume,who at the time had very little control over her powers. It was also Retsuna who awakened Yakō's talent for making sweets as well.
The Crafty Confectionist :
After her teacher passed away Yakō decided to open a cafe to honor her memory. She currently runs a small confectionary/cafe in town that's become quite popular. It is a growing enterprise and is strongly frequented by the students of the DMA and DWMA. When first brought attention to, it is noted that its reputation swiftly grew to be notorious in a little under three years. It specializes in original novelties unseen before by other establishments. It is so famous that there is never a day when one has not seen the name. Possibly every single person from Death City would recognize the name. It is even boasted about all over the worlds thanks to Ren Gitsune. The company's impressive products would seem to enslave patrons to crave for more. It should be noted that Yakō, through talented and relatively sly business, is able to create and manage her company flawlessly. While some might consider such a life a waste of her talent Yakō is quite content.

Appearance: Yakō has long blonde hair and gray eyes. She usually wears black trousers, a long black coat and a black top underneath. For accessories she wears a black feathery scarf around her neck with 2 black clips in her hair,each with lunar motifs on them.
----Abilities and Techniques Information----
Lunar Magic (月の魔法 Tsuki no Mahō)
-this magic grants her the ability to manipulate the light of the moon and make use of the moon phases. This magic allows the user to gather and store , into their body; though it has been seen that when underneath the moon, the user does not need to gather moonlight and can simply cast spells. The lunar energy can be used in many different ways similar to light manipulation. Yakō usually forms her magic into arrows. Yakō can shoot the arrows at her opponent at high speeds and upon contact, the arrows will explode in a flash of brilliant light and delivering a devastating blow to the opponent. She is able to attack multiple opponents with the arrows and can even preform homing shots, tracking a specific target.
Kekkai (結界, barrier)
- A Kekkai is another name for a barrier,and a form of spatial magic. Offensive Kekkai are used to damage an enemy, most commonly by either collapsing the Kekkai around them, or actually hitting them with the Kekkai. Defensive uses of Kekkai are surrounding a target (either the enemy or the castor) to prevent attack. Kekkai can even be manipulated so that they only target certain things,or contain certain properties . Yakō uses these in a variety of ways,but the strength is directly proportional to the amount of power she puts in them. .
Fūzetsu Reigōji ( "Seal of Suppression Spirit Binding Cloth")
-Yakō uses a specialized spiritual fabric to tightly wrap up the intended opponent, completely immobilizing them, thus preventing them from moving or using certain techniques. The ability itself is versatile as once completed,and can even be used as a weapon. To begin Yakō unravels the cloth and directs toward the target. The cloth then moves forward seeking to wrap around their target's body and restrict their movement with several weighted shafts sporting suppression seals. The seal itself takes the form of Japanese calligraphy,which will then spread over the cloth to complete the process. While the cloth is durable and magic resistant it can still be torn thru,or burned. Even a sudden surge of high power is enough to brake out of it. Yakō primarily used this a way to capture witches during her time as a jailer,but still finds inventive ways to use it. For the technique to be useful the enemy must be significantly weakened .
Rendanshu Kuroenbu Konjōsui ;"(Purification Art Dance of the Purification Flowers")
- A signature magic art that was once her fathers. It is a technique were Yakō is able to create any number of golden flowers she wants, and manipulate them. The flowers can root themselves in the ground or hover mid-air when activated and show the allure of blooming flowers. The flowers while beautiful are made of a corrosive water-like substance that naturally burns anything they touch,but has a purifying effect as well. This technique covers a wide area and hinder large numbers of evil opponents by producing a "mine field". The drawback is that the more flowers that are produced the more energy Yakō must mix into the water to manipulate it. She can be damage by this technique if not covered,but does have some natural resistance to it. (3 post cool down)
Rendanshu Konjōsui Formation ( Purification Arts Golden Birth Water Formation)
- This is a extension of Dance of Konjsui where the gathered konjsui flowers brake,and soak into the ground. Once all the flowers are broken,Yakō issues a hand sign. A trigram made of water will appear underneath the area with intricately designed magic formulas on it and will begin to spin at incredible speeds so much so that it causes damage to the ground. With another hand sign,Yakō causes the water to rise up and engulf the opponent in a large plume causing severe burns if it hits and purifying any evil being who comes in contact with it. ( 1 post to soak, 2 to activate)
Shikigami Summoning
- She is able to create human and animal Shikigami that she uses to perform various tasks for her. Most Shikigami are intended for temporary use only, and are therefore given just enough power to accomplish their assigned task and dispel, making them fairly vulnerable overall and largely unsuited for extended use in battle. Yakō usually only uses these in as a mild diversion,or a minor defense. Like golems they can be embedded with instructions or items.
Kanzenketsu Juin no Kusari (Absolute Binding Cursed Seal Chains )
- is technique that molds Yakō lunar magic into extremely durable chains which can be used for various purposes, such as directly combating or physically restraining her targets. Using her chains as a medium, Yakō could also erect a barrier strong enough to prevent anyone or anything from entering or leaving the perimeter defined by the chains. The chains do increased damage to demons,and actively seek them out and purify their powers on contact. Once latched on to the target's body, they will eventually start to constrict, much like a snake. Others who attempt to touch the chains will be struck with a powerful electrical shock if the don't have sufficient power,but the chains can be broken. They are weakest during the day,and do require a lot of Yakō's concentration to maintain.
Tenrai Jōzai Rougetsusō("Divine Cleansing of Sins, Moon Spear):
- This spell is Yakō last resort in Lunar Magic. This has been said to be one of the most destructive, if not the most powerful lunar spell to have ever been created, as it will bring forth tremendous damage to anyone and anything that dares happens to get in its path. To preform this spell, there is certain requirement; that requirement is that the caster, in this case Yakō, must be underneath the the brilliant light of the full moon or call upon all of her stored up lunar energy that she has collected over time. Once Yakō has the conditions ready, she will begin to glow brilliantly as golden light will begin to leak out of her body as she will focus an enormous amount of lunar energy into her own spear-like arrow that will begin to glow a brilliant silver as well. Yakō will then shift her stance, holding her bow steady, and will aim carefully at her chosen target. Once she has her target locked on, she will fire her arrow forward, creating a sonic boom from the sheer force of the release. The lunar-enhanced death arrow will travel at incredible speeds, being regarded as impossible to stop. Once the arrow makes contact with the target, it erupts in a pillar of purifying light. Something to note about this spell is that Yakō will be drained of her lunar energy after preforming this spell, even if she is preforming it underneath the light of the full moon. When she preforms this spell without the full moon, she usually ends up on the verge of passing out from the drainage of lunar energy. As such, this is Yakō last resort, only to be used in situations that call for it.( 3 post to activate 6 to cool down)

Runa Epitafu ( Lunar Epitaph)
-A strange glowing tattoo like rune on her back, between her shoulder blades. This tattoo glows briefly when she uses her powers and heals wounds when she sleeps. If for some reason she becomes very weak it crystallizes her in indestructible moonstone and places her body in stasis to heal. While unable to move or defend herself from outside forces Yakō is aware of what happens around her while in stasis.
Master Archer: Yakō has fully mastered the art of archery. She can easily and swiftly shoot enemies from long or short distances and has the uncanny ability to strike demons from much longer and greater distances.
Master Sewing Skills - Yakō has a deep knowledge of how magical clothing is made,and can sew high quality garments, especially magic based with ease. She often carries a pair of medium sized, sewing needle-like swords, which according to her were made from ultra-hardened moon stones. Yakō possess extensive knowledge in the intricacies of clothing,and style. Overall her knowledge of magic clothing and sewing skills appear to be second only to those of Ren Gitsune.
Inton Karada Kiyome (, " Yin Purification of the Body"): Due the the blessing of the Twin Moon sisters Yakō's soul has purification abilities. She said to be capable of sanctifying others just by being in their presence, and possesses greater ability than any other witch her clan has produced. When fully unleashed her purification abilities are said to be capable of destroying hundreds to thousands of weak demons at once. This was once shown when her powers were able to completely purify Yosuzumes's miasma as a child and heal the wounds she received from them as well as protect her sister in childhood.
Kanshagan (The Eye that Reflects Feelings): By looking into a persons eyes Yakō can reveal a person's true nature. While this doesn't have any use in combat it allows Yakō great insight into people she meets. She can tell what they need to better themselves,or help them achieve their goals.
