(Note: This ties into his current plot where he travels to Jauhar to talk to Yaholo.)
Well wasn't this bloody fantastic? Not only was he traveling through the worst place in the world, but he was being relentlessly followed by a freaking SCORRA! What did it want with him? He had thrown food, objects, waved his staff, and yelled every profanity possible towards it, all of which had fallen on deaf bird ears. Why was it following him? AUGH! He was too tired to run, too hot to think, and he was running out of things to throw!
"Shoo! Go away, stupid bird!" He screamed, tossing sand towards it. The bird leaned backwards, but only trotted forward, obviously thinking it was a game. Was this thing touched in the head or something? Did it not see that Rastian didn't want it around?! He took off running once more, dropping yet another satchel behind him, hoping that it would phase the stupid animal. But as he turned his head around to check if it had worked, he felt himself run into something soft and fluffy, and came face to face with the creature. "GAH! NO, AWAY! GO AWAY!" He growled.
The bird tilted it's head, scratched it's neck with one of it's legs, and grabbed Rastian's shirt collar with it's beak. It seemed rather pleased with itself as it plopped the Healer on it's back and trotted away towards where it had come from.
"NO, PUT ME DOWN!" Rastian screamed, flailing about. He fell off repeatedly as he was carted away, only to be snatched back up by the Scorra. It seemed that it didn't want to let him go, no matter how much he begged. Why did feathered creatures seem to like him so much? First the baby Firebird, now this thing! What next, a Kinfa?! He sure hoped not!
