Ragged breaths were the only sounds that came from the exhausted senshi's chest, having ran from his hiding place to where he had asked the others to meet him. There was no real reason as to why he had decided to run such a distance, just nervousness, and the thought that if he were to go any slower, he would have changed his mind about the entire plot he had set out for himself. He could not be a coward about this, he could not allow himself to suddenly change his mind. Not about defecting from his current kingdom to the new one, but about having committed a crime just hours before hand. Avior's first ever crime.. And hopefully his last. There was the possibility of performing his duties for his new leaders without anything entirely illegal, right? To change sides did not mean he was changing his very being. Or atleast he hoped that was the case.

But before any of that could take place, there was one last task that Avior wished to complete. Around his neck, resting against his chest finally after having bounced around for an extended period of time as he ran, was a camera. A high quality DSLR camera which would be the only thing that he took with him from his previous life, and with which he would record his planet. Although he did know that once he defected, some things about him would change, he was not certain the details, what would and wouldn't work with how he moved about now. If he could still do some of his actions without consequence, or if certain things about him would now become locked away. Avior was ready for any change, however.

All there was to do now was to wait for the other's to arrive here with him, at this secluded part of the lake where he had always felt the most comfortable at, right outside of an abandoned boat house. Alone, this place was slightly off and creepy, and maybe that was why Avior was always so drawn to it. It just felt natural to be here. He did hope that his two companions would arrive soon, so that they could begin their expedition.

The space travel the senshi were afforded was wondrous, as his experience with Pomona had enlightened him to. Why it was so important to go right then and there, though, escaped his understanding. It seemed an odd sort of request, wanting to go to a place far, far away on the same eve as taking oaths to new court and new throne (did the mirror have a throne...no wait...it did there was a Queen that they'd been trained about.)

But Lt. Titanlåvenite was glad to play some part or help in some way- the royals of their prospective factions may no longer share a direct alliance, but they'd not been ordered to call each other enemies, either. He didn't know a great deal about those that followed the Queen Ares, but it had to qualify as better than the White Moon Court. Avior was making a good decision to find a place with strong leadership that he could oath to and learn from, and having someone solid and grounding nearby to support that decision was important. It was no shame to need buttresses to make a wall strong- even the greatest kings and queens of history had their favored advisers and swords that had been their hands, ears, and eyes in places or times where the monarch themselves could or would not best go.

So Titan walked the path again to the little lake where he'd first met the strange, uncertain scout. It looked like the senshi was already there and waiting, much as he had been when he'd first called out that he didn't want to fight. "Are you ready to fight yet? "

It was both serious and a joke- poking fun at what had been once, but also goading and searching for the starts of loyalty and purpose that were necessary to supporting a cause. Are you ready to fight for your new family?

Remarque kept fairly busy, one way or another, though when he was requested in such a way, he made sure he had time to be there. It had been a while since he had seen Avior, though he was certainly not opposed to running into him again. He had powered up and made his way towards the rendezvous time; he wasn't entirely sure where he was expected to arrive, but he had a vague idea—and an energy signature to guide him.

He moved quickly, not because he was particularly rushing, but because he knew his own eternal aura was quite a beacon and he wasn't in the mood to deal with trouble when he was on a schedule.

Things were going according to plan until there was a twinge of a Negaverse agent, but Remarque persisted—and was glad he did so when his path lead him straight to Avior.

And a giant.

Remarque had seen big men—there were plenty of them, either at the gym or in the ring. But not like this.

This couldn't possibly be human.

"Avior," he said, friendly enough. He jeered a thumb at Titan as he approached. "Good to see you again. Whose your friend?"

Not quite an afterthought, but as he approached the two, he stuck out his hand to the male. He might have been concerned that the man was here to entirely pulverize Avior, though they didn't seem to be on unfriendly terms. Either way, Remarque was going to impose himself. Just not without an introduction. "Remarque, pleasure."

…Even if it wasn't exactly a pleasure to be standing next to a man who totally dwarfed him.

The first one to arrive was greeted with a small smile, though when answering the question, he shook his head.

"I do not wish to fight anyone. But I am ready to make a difference, and if that involves fighting for my beliefs, then so be it." Even though, realistically, it had been a small time since the last time Avior had seen Titan, the uncertainty and unease that filled him before was near gone, and his shoulders were far less tense than before. Not that he was still entirely strong, of course not, to change, to be born anew.. He would need all the support he could get. This new family wouldn't be so cruel to leave him all alone, just as the White Moon court did, he was sure of that.

The second one to arrive was greeted with slight worry as they gestured to the man standing beside him. Though initially, he was going to assume that they were on unfriendly terms, it seemed not to be the case at all, just unfamiliarity.. And perhaps unease? Intimidation? Avior could not place his finger on the reaction that Remarque was giving, but with the introduction given, it seemed that there would be no conflict. Wonderful, this wasn't the day to have such things happen.

"I'm glad to see everyone as well.. But I'll go straight to the point, as I wouldn't want to impede on your time. I am ready to become part of your family, Remarque. Tonight, I am ready to give up any sort of tags that I am part of the White Mirror court, who are blinded by their ideals, and become a Dark Mirror Senshi, with faith in the organization that we will accomplish our goals of peace.. However, there is one last thing I would like to do before I officially make the change. And that is one more visit to my planet, to Avior, with You two as my guests.. I want to show you both just what can happen when there are Senshi's in places they do not belong, and that this could be a reason even more so to those that are in the White Mirror Court that being a part of the Chaos is not a form of evil in any way. That the White Mirror Senshi do not understand what sort of destructive power they can bring to a world." His gaze switched between the two men before him, watching their expressions as he continued.

"If you two would be willing, I would like to show you this world of mine.. Planet Avior, that was destroyed buy another White Moon Senshi over a millennium ago."

Still with the pacifism in the middle of a war- at least the Dark Mirror Court might find something useful away from the front lines for the little noble. The lieutenant chuckled and shook his head slowly at the little one's response, and opened his mouth to reply only to close it to a warm smile in a moment.

Now here was a strong feeling senshi! Titan kept his posture relaxed, and took the offered hand in a well practiced, manicured handshake. "The pleasure is mine. Lieutenant Titanlåvenite, sir. But 'Titan' is fine. I've never actually met or spoken with one of your court before. "

Avior's explanation of the purpose for meeting up other than his conversion was welcome. Titan wasn't certain if he had the whole gist of the trip- the black fluffy buttwings were a little distracting, as was the general eye candy. The important part seemed to be to go and take pictures, and they'd be Avior's guests, and Avior and 'Remark' would get a history lesson or impression of some significance out of it regarded senshi.

"I would be honored, Avior."
He wondered how similar or different it would be from Pomona?

"Never?" Remarque challenged, giving a firm shake before retracting his hand. "You're missing out."

He wasn't sure how he had missed Titanlåvenite, though if he was still a lieutenant he figured there was a possibility that they just hadn't had enough time to cross paths yet.

It was difficult to try and pretend like he wasn't bursting with excitement at the thought of a White Moon Senshi defecting—or at getting out into space. Two of his favorite things, bundled up in one night? Yes, please.

"I'm willing to take a peek at Avior." He had never seen a Dark Mirror Senshi's homeworld—probably because so few ever had the opportunity to step foot on their world. A part of him wondered if Avior knew that they couldn’t get back to their homeworld, but he figured if he didn't know already, there was always time to find out later.

He was curious about Avior's cryptic message; he had figured that too many senshi in one place wasn't going to be good news, but there was a certain nagging voice in the back of his head—senshi that didn't belong.

If Avior was worried about not belonging on a planet, he might have been better off not to join the Dark Mirror Court—a group without even so much as a planet to call their own.

For now.

The two men before him were getting along.. Wonderful, that made this task that much more easy. Not that he had any doubts about them. And since they both agreed to the journey, then was perfect as well. No need to delay the task anymore. Making sure that they were all close enough together, Avior reached out, taking Remarque's hand and placing it on his left shoulder, and then taking Titanlåvenite's and placing it on his right. He wasn't expecting the hands to feel that heavy, and maybe he was imagining the weight, but he felt so small beneath them. It was a cozy feeling, warm, and he felt like he was safe here, between the two, not being judged for his decisions, or being viewed of as weak, even if that was true at times. The patience the two men had for him simply blew him away.

"Alright, I'm sorry, but there needs to be contact, so this will do, I hope." His hands reached into his apron, pulling out the senshi phone that seemed to refuse to fall out of the shallow pocket, even with his constant twisting and turning as he had ran here. There were no further warnings given to the two chaos members, only the sounds of buttons being pressed, and they vanished from the empty boathouse near the lake on Earth.

Nary a moment passed, and soon their eyes were greeted by immense dry heat and a city all made of copper-colored sandstone. They were at the top of a vast stone wall, one that engulfed the entire circumference of the city, looking out to the houses and buildings and figures below. From far up here, they could not make out what those figures were, though Avior knew them far too well. Behind them was nothing but an endless dried up seabed and it's stranded ships on the cracked sand. No sounds of life could he heard, only the breathing of the men that stood on the wall.

"Well.. This is Avior. I would welcome you here, but it isn't the most pleasant or beautiful of places, and yet it was once home."

Titan had a feeling he could take the man at his word- he was most certainly missing out. With the alliance gone, it made finding or approaching the Mirror senshi more difficult, maybe. He hadn't known any, they didn't turn in energy in the same places, and they didn't seem to altogether travel in the same manner to just stumble on them while out and about. They were a lovely confustication, to Titan at least, but maybe they made more sense to the betters of the Officers.

The Lieutenant at least had something of a preparation to knowing what to expect out of home-world visiting as a process, so he held Avior's shoulder as his hand was claimed and placed until they were safely on foot and walking again instead of what he assumed was a phone-version of the TV travel from Willy Wonka. The last thing any of them should do was interrupt the process and end up 6 inches high or something equally inconvenient.

The planet itself was far removed from what he'd seem in the lush rolling mounds and creeping green that had covered Pomona. The architecture hands down more grandiose. It felt just as empty.
Titan didn't raise his voice above a whisper, "It is just as quiet here. "

Like a tomb.

"Is there weather here?" Looking at the cracks and sand, he had his doubts, and they cam across in the tone of the question.

The contact didn't at all bother Remarque, nor did the journey through space. It was something he didn't have enough experience with it to have become accustomed to it, but he was starting not to mind it as much. The heat, though, that was annoying, and as soon as Avior released him, Remarque was fanning himself.

It was the first time he had seen a homeworld like this. He was silently judging the place, viewing the remnants of some long dead society. His trips to space before had been limited to empty jungles, but this was the first time that there had ever been life on one of these planets. He was content to let Avior answer Titan's questions for the time being; he was too busy assessing to add any of his own.

But he wanted to.

He wanted to ask what was there here, what had Avior found? Was there any clue on how to get to other planets from here? —Was it even possible?

Was there any benefit towards all these space travels other than to observe a dead world, or was there some reason the senshi could it and he couldn’t?

"No, there's no weather here. Just heat. Perhaps when it grows dark, then the wind picks up, but it is hardly felt within the city if you are not near the broken parts of the walls." Even now, there was another memory flashing before his eyes, and the sounds of a wild storm raging on the other side of the wall, yet everyone moving about calmly. Such things just do not exist in this world any longer. After a few moments of allowing them to look around, taken in the arid environment, and wondering about it's state, Avior began to move towards a staircase that crawled about the city side of the wall, leading down into the city.

"I'd like to take you two to the palace. It's cooler down towards the ground, in the shadow of the wall, so maybe there can be some comfort found there. The place.. I don't quite understand how some of the dynamics work just yet while being part of the Dark Mirror Court, but I would like to share what I have found, in the sense of Mirrors. A thought crossed my mind before, and though I do not know the limitations of your powers, Remarque, I do think it would be interesting to see what you could do with such things. " There was the urge to take Titan's hand, to find his own comfort there while the descended the stair case where the ocean of bodies stood frozen. There was once a time where he tried to clear them all out, to allow them to all collapse to dust and all of the flowers poking through their necks could be burned, but it was far too hammering on his mind, and there were what seemed like millions.

When Avior mentioned a palace, Titan's mouth curled in the barest of smiles. For as much as people he met seemed surprised, diffident or appalled when he called them by a title style, the proof was consistent now in clear, hierarchical societies on their homeworlds. It was how things had been, and it was a good and right way of doing it. He didn't offer verbal comment on the matter, though, and took stride subservient in position to the two senshi. They may not be all upon the same side, but the difference of importance was just the same.

When Avior mentioned something specific to Remarque, the lieutenant had really no idea to what it could refer, but imagined that patience would pan out in revealing at least the mystery of 'what' if not 'why' or 'how'.

Mirrors? Remarque liked mirrors. It didn't take any coaxing to get him to follow after Avior; the palace should have been interesting, but Remarque had acquired an unhealthy affinity with mirrors. He moved down the stairs with a quick step that blatantly betrayed his otherwise calm demeanor.

He wanted to see them. Wanted to know what else Avior's homeworld was hiding.

Only briefly did his eyes take in the frozen figures, but they held little meaning to him. He didn't know what they were or why they were there, only that they were creepy. But this whole place was creepy.

A dead homeworld, barren and forgotten and lost in time?

It was interesting, but he had seen enough science fiction movies—experienced enough space monsters—to know that nowhere was really safe.

"Limitations to my powers? You'd be hard pressed to find them. There's not much I can't do." He seemed confident in himself, though truthfully he didn't know what Avior had around here any more than what he knew what his limits were. "I'd like to see them, though. See what we can do."

He had more questions than he cared to admit, but just being here was enough to leave him elated. A part of him lamented that they seemed to have a set course; he would have loved to get lost exploring this place. Trying to dig up secrets, learn something.

He had faith that Avior had scoured this place top to bottom, though, and if Avior was willing to leave it all behind that had to mean he hadn't found anything good.

Or maybe he just wasn't looking hard enough.

Either way, Remarque certainly wasn't wasting this opportunity and put great effort into looking around and preserving what he could in his mind.

Avior had yet to say much else, his camera making the only sounds besides their footsteps. Every so often, if he had spotted something particularly memorable, he would snap a picture of it, adding to his collection. Having arrived to the base of the palace, Avior pointed upwards, to the tallest tower of the place, reaching even higher than the walls around the city. There was an outside staircase that lead up there, but the last time Avior had been here, he simply launched himself with his walls up to the top of the tower. That might not be as effective with three people.

"Up there.. It's an entire room of mirrors. I think it's kinda like a light house, for the ocean that used to be part of this planet. It's ineffective now, since there's no one alive here, and that there is no sea, but I thought that maybe it could be something worth looking at. The Dark Mirror Court Travels through mirrors, and.. Well, if your powers are unlimited, Maybe there would be a way to travel via these mirrors across worlds. It was just an idea, atleast.." The little one turned to Titan, giving him a little smile.

"The Negaverse can teleport, right? Could you get us both up there? Or will we have to take the stairs?"

Titan frowned, unable to please in this very small task- "As a lieutenant, that strength is not in me. "

"Greater officers can teleport, I guess could even carry others with them. I don't know how it works either. Would have to know the place up there first anyway, or if just seeing it would be enough? It is a mystery. "

Nope, he was pretty much useless except for taking hits. Even that was debatable for opponents who were grossly faster than he was and could just circumvent him. "It will have to be stairs for me if I'm coming up. But you both do not need to wait up if you have better way."

Traveling between worlds? That was something Remarque could get behind. He'd never tried—though he'd thought about it. He remembered mirrors on the Surrounding, though he had never really had it in him to try and get there. He remembered clearly the senshi and knights trying to cover, if not destroy, the mirrors—and even if they hadn't succeeded, it had been so long that he wasn't even sure if the mirrors were in the same place. He wasn't as skilled as Mirrorwalking back when the memories were fresh, and he figured that if it took Ares to get there, then he hadn't been strong enough.

Then.

And even if he was, was it worth it? They'd had a number of warriors up there; he didn't even know if it would be a justifiable risk just to see the stars again. Just to see the Mirror Pools.

But Avior? There was no army here, so far as he could see. It would be worth investigating. He just had to see the mirrors first, and then maybe…

Maybe.

"It's just a few steps," Remarque finally said. "And you two look like strong, able-bodied men. I'm sure it won't kill us."

That height, though…

Remarque was fine with the exercise. It was the thought of a fall that made the trek seem undesirable.
