After some time with Eyphah, making sure to heal the Diabi as many times as he could manage without burning himself out, Tallulah emerged from the room that he had left he other Drakein resting in. The first thing he did was find another of the clan to look after him, after that he went to seek out Eyphah's mother, telling her of his next plan, and then he was heading out. What was needed right now more then anything else was food, a lot of food. He needed to eat to have the energy to keep going where Eyphah's healing was concerned and Eyphah needed food as well so that his body would be able to continue to heal itself. Tallulah could only do so much after all, he could heal his friend's wounds but magic wouldn't sustain him, only food could do that. The problem being that food could be scarce on the land, its why he was heading toward where he knew food to be plentiful, that being the ocean. He would go there, go fishing, and he would find something that was big enough that he would be able to feed Eyphah and himself for some time.

The moment that he went from racing over the land to swimminging over the water he set to searching around for any sign of something delicious and fishy. His eyes flickered around, searching, searching, searching... and finally he saw what it was that he was looking for. There were large fish in the ocean, ones that were quite delicious, and he meant to capture some of them for Eyphah! The moment he spotted them he dove down into the dark waters, spun around so that he could rush toward the surface, lunging forth from it. From there the Merkein dove down into the water once more. It was a perfect sort of dive that allowed the Merkein to crashed down on one of the two fish that he'd spotted, tussling with it for but a moment before his claws dug in. He held onto the Erlkin with one forefoot, clawing at the second one, but it was able to get out of his reach before he was able to get a hold of it. He gave it a dark sort of glare before he launched himself up to the water's surface with the captured Erlkin in his claws, swimminging toward the beach at rapid speeds. He looked from side to side, searching for something that he could use... and then he gave a pleased sort of sound when he saw it. A rather tall, sharp looking rock. It was this rocky structure that he heaved the fish toward, allowing the Erlkin to drop on it, skewering it there.

He watched the fish for a long moment to make sure that it wouldn't be able to get away before he settled down on next to it. He sized up the fish for a moment then gaze a sighing sound, "I don't know if you are going to be enough." He mused, glancing back toward the water, then nodded. He would need to go back in, fetch himself another fish, and if he was lucky he would be able to get his claws back on that fish that he'd missed during his first dive. Walking toward the water Tallulah paused the beach a moment, making sure that nothing around was considering stealing his fish while he continued to try to get more of them for himself and his patient. He wanted to make sure that Eyphah was fed and fed well, without a lot of food he wasn't going to end up back on his feet where he needed to be. Only when he was back to full strength would be able to fill them in on what had happened to put him into such a state. With that thought in his head he dove back into the sea once more.
