Name: Kirra Rose Morrow Nickname: Kirra-Lirra, Kirra-keet Age: 7 8 Birthday: 28/9/06 Sign: Libra Gemstone: Opal Blood Type: O Fav. Food: Sketti! (Or spaghetti, for those who can spell) Hated Food: Sultanas School: Knightside Elementary (Grade 3) Hobbies:- Draaama! – Acting, make-believe, dress-up and attention in one handy activity. Kirra has been staging little plays for her family since she was old enough to throw a blanket over a tree branch to make a curtain. She's in an after-school class, for fun and friend-making, and loves to play imagination games of all types. - Siiinging! – All of the above plus music! What she lacks in finesse, she makes up for with enthusiasm. Kirra often sings to herself when she's happy, and loves to get loud. She doesn't really have a favourite style yet, but Disney songs feature heavily in her repertoire. - Climb all the trees! - Kirra enjoys the outdoors, especially the parts of it with branches within arm's reach. Climbing is a challenge, the views are great, and complete strangers come over to help her get down. It's great! She’s pretty fearless, and light enough to get up high onto thin branches (the higher the better!). Her parents fortunately don’t seem to mind so long as they can still see her. Virtues: Yes to Everything! Kirra is an agreeable child, always willing to please. She will happily go along with what other people want to do, eat whatever's on the plate, take on extra responsibilities without complaint, and generally be a smiling example of good behaviour. She is just looking for a pat on the head for it. If the question is 'would you like to...?', she's already said 'Yes!' before the sentence finishes. This does mean that sometimes she finds herself agreeing to things that turn out to be less than amazing. She’ll often soldier on regardless, but might need a little push in the form of a reward or some company. Left alone to work, her attention may lapse, resulting in half-done jobs or wandering off to play. If she’s agreed to something genuinely unpleasant, she’s more likely to go and tell an adult, to make sure they can see how hard she’s working. Even then, it doesn’t take much to get her back on track – she’ll happily agree to reminders, too. Inclusive There's nothing worse than being left out. Even at her young age, Kirra wants to make sure everyone is included, and will try hard to make a space for a newcomer in a game, or talk to someone who looks lonely. She doesn't make judgements on who can be her friend or join her circle, and she won't hold grudges, even against people who have excluded her in the past. When she's the director, everyone gets a part to play. Imaginative Kirra has a wild imagination, and it colours all of her endeavours. She comes up with some pretty elaborate scenarios for her plays and games. She'd rather give her class report as a skit than a written document. She's inventive and quick to improvise, and willing to accept some pretty unbelievable things as fact because it could happen in a TV show, so why not for real? Flaws: Praise-o-vore Kirra knows the difference between good attention and bad attention. She wants the good kind, and needs a constant stream of external validation to feel good about herself. It doesn’t have to be much, just a little ‘well done’ is enough to tide her over. She’s well-behaved, and works hard so long as the praise keeps coming, but gets discouraged easily if her efforts aren’t rewarded. She may give up entirely on things she doesn’t find she receives enough praise for, getting sullen and sulking, or bragging about old unrelated achievements to attract a new round of praise for them instead. She has difficulty focusing on tasks when she doesn’t have an audience. Just give her a ‘good job’ sticker already, she will be so happy. Sensitive Soul As easily as praise can build her up, the slightest negative words can have a huge effect on Kirra. She cares very much what other people think of her, and takes criticism very hard. This is world-ending stuff. They didn’t like her picture/cartwheel/homework/joke, so they don’t like her! Messy tears in public places is a standard response. So is hiding in her room because everybody clearly hates her. She’s also fairly likely to read ‘no reaction’ as a negative reaction, especially when her praise-meter is running low, or when she’s tired. If everyone else jumped off a bridge—splash! Peers don’t need to exert much pressure over Kirra. She wants to hang out with the cool kids (ie. Everyone older than her). She will trail along after those she admires like a dear little sheep, and go along with whatever mischief they offer, because ‘everyone else was doing it’ is a perfectly reasonable explanation in her mind. She doesn’t like to be the one left behind, or left out, and she knows if she does what people tell her, she will almost always get kind words in response. PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION Eyes: Big, round and bright red Hair: Straight hair, a little longer than shoulder-length, and tending to flick up at the ends. Bright blue at the roots, shading out to blonde and/or red. The tips have been dipped in several different colours of poster paint. The top/middle section is pulled back from her face with a big ribbon. Face: A trusting, wide-eyed babyface. Expression tending towards innocent mischief. General: A little bird-boned thing, small and thin. Maybe a bit of baby fat around the face, but mostly too active to be chubby. Her skin is still quite light, though not necessarily as pale as the ref. She’s an outdoors kid, but her mum butters her with sunscreen before she goes out to play. Here is a hair and eye ref! Clothes: Knightside uniform. Or brightly coloured/mismatched playwear: colourful pinafore dress and leggings, socks that don’t match etc.

Senshi: Sailor Chibi Euporie, Chibi Senshi of Mimicry Challenge: No, you’re the copycat! Stop copying me! Fuku Colour: Main Color: Shiny-Ditto blue Secondary Color: Lyrebird pale grey Fuku: The basic idea is a child’s party dress – high waist, wide sash, full skirt (knee or calf length). Like a flower-girl dress. I’m happy for pretty much everything else to be CC (even the colour scheme). I would love it if feathers (lyrebird or otherwise) could be incorporated into the design. Suggestions: Collar – Oversized, flapping wide, too big for her shoulders. Bow – A big party bow at the back of the wide waist sash. On the front, something classic/understated, since the waist will be so high. Bodice -- A child’s party dress – high waist, wide sash. This will make the bodice not much wider than the sash. Sleeves – Something cutesy. Puff sleeves? Brooch – A Lyrebird motif or feather? Or a repeated/mirrored abstract pattern? Or a Ditto. Um. Sorry. Bottoms -- A child’s party dress –full skirt falling from a high waist to knee or calf length. Tiara – Traditional? Choker – Something child-safe? Shoes – A child’s buckle-up party shoes. A bit fancy (maybe a bow or something on the front), but with a sensible heel for running about in. With white ankle or knee socks, (whichever looks better with the skirt length). Gloves – Fingerless or none? She’s only going to ruin them. Accessories – A big bow in her hair. Various inspiration refs: [x] [x] [x] [x] [x] [x]Possible brooch/design element (marginally more sensible than a Ditto): Lyrebird"Lyrebirds render with great fidelity the individual songs of other birds and the chatter of flocks of birds, and also mimic other animals such as koalas and dingos. The lyrebird is capable of imitating almost any sound and they have been recorded mimicking human caused sounds such as a mill whistle to a cross-cut saw, chainsaws, car engines and car alarms, fire alarms, rifle-shots, camera shutters, dogs barking, crying babies, music, and even the human voice. However, while the mimicry of human noises is widely reported, the extent to which it happens is exaggerated and the phenomenon is quite unusual"* Attacks: Sailor Scout Attack: Irritating Imitation! Sailor Chibi Euporie mimics one target (friend or foe), copying their voice and mannerisms for a period of thirty seconds. She is bound to copy words they have used while the attack is active, but can reorder them if she wishes. Super Sailor Scout Attack: Infuriating Imitation! Sailor Chibi Euporie mimics one target (friend or foe), copying their voice, mannerisms and phrasing for a period of thirty seconds. She can say anything she wishes. Eternal Sailor Attack: Flattering Mimicry! Sailor Chibi Euporie mimics the movements and vocals of another senshi’s magic, and produces a ‘chibi’ imitation that at first glance could be mistaken for the real attack. It looks and sounds convincing enough, but the actual effect is just distracting sparkles, which may confuse or disorient the target, who is likely expecting to be hit with something more dangerous. The better she knows the senshi she’s mimicking, or the more recently she saw the real attack used, the more convincing her version will be. The attack is most effective when the senshi being mimicked is present, but Euporie can also attempt to copy an attack from memory: this will usually result in a much less convincing mimicry, but its believability would improve if she had spent a lot of time with the other senshi, or specifically trained with them to 'learn' their moves.

Name possibilities:
Moons: Euporie, Callirrhoe, Pasithee – Jovian moons with names that mimic one or more existing senshi. (For maximum mini-me annoyance-bringing. Would probably need permission).
Iocaste – Jovian moon that mimics the name of locked moon Io (castle of Jupiter)
Asteroids: 414 Liriope - mother of Narcissus (from the Greek myth of Echo and Narcissus) 495 Eulalia - "well-spoken" 822 Lalage - "to babble, to prattle"
* * *
Family
Amelia ‘Meels’ Morrow - Mother Aidan – Father Tanya Morrow-Gennaro – Auntie Tan Gigi Gennaro (Sailor Subamara) - Cousin

Loki, I know your quest isn't done yet, but I just wanted to let you know that if you decided you wanted your Chibi to be Pasithee, I'd be okay with it. :3b

Thank you! You are both total sweethearts! heart
I've decided to go with Euporie for now, purely because it would be easier for a seven-year-old to pronounce. Hardest decision in the whole quest. sweatdrop
She's all filled out now, but I'd appreciate any crits, especially regarding her attacks. I had trouble finding something that would be useful and chibi.

Hi, Loki! Congrats on winning a slot for this little sweetheart! I love Kirra from my experience with her previous incarnation and I'm so excited to see her take flight here at Moonshop! (Also, I want like, 700 years worth of mini-me RP with her once I finish up my hiatus stuff.) Anyway, my usual disclaimer applies to everything I'm about to say: this is not an official, shop-sponsored critique and you're free to take or leave any suggestions I make at your own discretion. If anything I say runs contrary to the direction you want to take Kirra in, please feel free to tell me that I'm full of s**t. heart Basic info!Looks good! Cute nicknames! I guess my one question is what grade she's in at Knightside, but that is, like, super minor. Hobbies!Oh my god, you sweet, precious baby, I will play dress up and let you sing do you want to build a snowman? to me, like, 700 times. I think the only thing I really have any questions about about is climbing - is Kirra good at climbing, or just very enthusiastic about it? Does climbing ever get her into trouble, or does she know better than to do it in full view of grown-ups? How much self-control does she have when it comes to pushing her limits/doing things that might result in being punished? Otherwise, A+ cutie patootie kid senshi right here, she's gonna be a menace when she gets her super powers. Virtues!Yes to Everything! - This looks really good so far! My only question is what happens when Kirra starts to do something and then realizes she'd rather not? Is she the kind of kid to just grin and bear it all, a deal's a deal! Or will she start to look for a way to make the task at hand go faster/get around doing all of it? Inclusive - Looks good to me! biggrin Imaginative - Also looks good! Flaws!Praise-o-vore - Looks good! Sensitive Soul - Also looks good! If everyone else jumped off a bridge-splash! - ugh, what a cutie.
I can see so much potential for all of these traits to lead to interesting plots! You've done a great job of keeping your descriptions age-appropriate for the character, while still letting the reader infer what kinds of trouble Kirra could get into as a senshi!
Physical description
Ugh I love her. My only suggestion is maybe add a quick description of Kirra's body type and include reference to her skin tone somewhere. I know what it is in your reference art, but you don't make any reference to whether you're keeping that or want to go with something else. As for body type, is she tall for her age, short, average? Is she skinny, average, or a bit on the chubbier side?
Senshi stuff!
Ugh, again, she sounds adorable. You're killing me here, Loki!
With reference to her attacks, these are super cute chibi attacks, and I can see how a kid like Euporie would think of ways to use it to totally bamboozle a target! My only question is about her eternal attack - does the senshi whose magic she is mimicking need to be present, creating the need for Euporie to always patrol with a buddy if she wants to use her magic, or can she use any magic that she's seen in action before? I'm presuming that for her sailor and super attacks, the person she's imitating needs to be present.
(self-indulgent IE - Can Euporie use Flattering Mimicry to hit opponents with a little babbu version of Deep Ocean Pressure when she's by herself, just because she's seen Europa do it before, or would she have to be patrolling with Europa in order to do it?)
ANYWAY THIS PROFILE IS ALREADY IN REALLY GOOD SHAPE, CONGRATS, I WANT TO PLAY WITH YOU 5EVER.

Thank you so much for the crit! I’m so glad you like her, and I would totally love to bug you for RP when she arrives! <3 Knightside grade: I’m actually really confused by the American school system, so that’s a toughie for me. Unless I change her birth year, she’s now turned 8, so in Australia she’d be finishing up Grade 2, moving to Grade 3 in February 2015. I’m not sure how that translates in a system that has the school year changing mid-year. ^^;; A young 3rd-Grader? (Do American schools have a ‘Prep’ year, or do they start at 1st Grade?) Climbing: Thank you, I will expand that one! She’s pretty good and pretty fearless, and light enough to get up onto thin branches. Having adults come to see if she’s okay is part of the fun! She probably wouldn’t do something she was expressly told not to, but it wouldn’t be seen as binding in the future - ‘you didn’t tell me not to today’ is an excuse she would totally use. And her parents don’t mind so long as they can still see her. Yes to Everything: It’s going to depend on if someone is watching, and if there’s a reward promised. Without either of those, there’s no guarantee she’s keep to her agreements. Small child = limited attention span. If it’s dull, she might wander off or do a half-assed job. If it’s unpleasant or painful, she’s more likely to go and complain about it, maybe make sure that everyone can see how hard she’s working and get attention/reward that way, without finishing or going through with whatever it was. A ‘You Tried!’ sticker is acceptable! Description: Ah, I didn’t even think of that! Thank you! At this point it’s probably in the artist’s hands, but she’s a little bird-boned thing, small and thin. Maybe a bit of baby fat around the face, but mostly too active to be chubby. Her skin is still quite light, though not necessarily as pale as the ref. She’s an outdoors kid, but her mum butters her with sunscreen before she goes out to play. Attack: It’s a good question, and I’m not sure what’s valid for a chibi-level power. On the one hand, it probably should match the first two and require the other senshi to be present (and a chibi probably shouldn’t be out alone often), but on the other, that would be super-limiting both in and out of character. Maybe if she spent a lot of time with someone, or did actual magic-training with them, she could copy their attack when they’re not around, though it would be a very unconvincing version? (It would be like the magical equivalent of drawing a house as a square with a triangle on top.) I will add all that into the main quest! Again, thank you so much for taking the time to crit my quest! I really appreciate it! <3 (Also, pls don’t die, even if it’s from cute! It would make it difficult to RP with you!)

American kids start school the year they turn five, although whether the cutoff is September 1st or January 1st varies by school district, and there is a kindergarten year and also a bit of leeway - some parents hold their kids back a year or get their kids started early if they're close to the cutoff date. If she just turned eight, she'd be starting Grade three! Climbing: Thank you, I will expand that one! She’s pretty good and pretty fearless, and light enough to get up onto thin branches. Hi, Loki! Euporie looks really cute and her profile looks good to me. If you would like, I would think up to two uses for each attack would be all right? If you roleplay and find yourself needing more uses you can post for a revision, too! I hope you have fun playing her!
