 Caderyn chuckles as Rin Long tells him one of his many little stories from a time before they encountered each other. It has been a few days since he has met a mare with a black coat and the most interesting flames of rainbow colors. Quite fascinating to say the least. He doesn't know why he has stayed in the area, but Rin Long thinks it is so he could possibly meet the mare again. Caderyn doesn't know whether that may be true or not, but he won't deny that if he does come across her again he would be a bit excited. He did find the mare to be interesting and he wouldn't mind getting to know her a bit more. But whether that will happen he doesn't know. Stopping on top of a hill he looks around before going back to listening to Rin's story.

 Onyxa was in a rounded valley, she caught a movement out of the corner of her eye. A stallion on a hill. Oh, that stallion. She had met him before yes, seemed nice enough, he had a lovely furball on his butt this time. Looked tastey, not that she would you know eat him, she had been using rabbits for a long time, but still one could admire a lovely meal. Eheh. The stallion himself, was a bit, noncommental, but she had managed to get a few things out of him last time, not alot granted. More words were needed to see if he could match her at wit. She snuck up the hill and said "Boo!" In a rather childish mood.

Caderyn's ears swivel around taking in the sounds. Hearing a soft step he doesn't fully comprehend what is going on til he hears a boo. Something one would expect on All's Hallow's Eve. A high pitched squeal comes from Rin long as he falls off his rump on onto the ground. Caderyn spins around and first looks at the mare from before. He grins and looks at Rin Long." Rin, Care to tone your voice down a few notches?" He can't help but to let out a laugh as he looks at his friend on the ground as he struggles to get up. Rin shoots him a glare and looks at the mare." You scared the beejebes out of me! " Caderyn turns to focus on the mare." We meet again. Quite an entrance too." He chuckles and lowers his neck and soon Rin long is climbing up to sit on his back again. Once the little dragon creature is on him he lifts his head again." How fare thee today? Going for a stroll or are you searching for something?"

"Sorry sweet one. The "Boo" was meant for your perch." She said to Rin. "Why thank you, I do enjoy my entrances. As for what I am doing, a simple stroll as you predicted."
"What brought you out this far into the wind?" She admired how his scarf flew in the wind.

Rin grins and shakes himself off."No problem. At least it seemed to amuse the big lump here. May not have been the target but.. well fun is fun." Caderyn looks over and chuckles before nudging Rin fondly before looking at the mare."It is a good day for a stroll."Nods his head and looks around before giving a slight grin."Trying to come up with muses on stories to tell the little ones that I meet when I travel." Actually has a deep love for storytelling ever since he was a young foal.

"Ahh well, you could always tell my story, its a bit long I'm afraid, but very interesting." She winked at Rin. Whom she instantly liked. " If you want to hear it that is."

Caderyn's eyes light up at the prospect of listening to a story. He loves story's whether he be the one telling or others. Tilting his head slightly as he muses over that idea. Even if he doesn't use the story he would be interested in hearing it. Then he would make a decision. Yes. That seems to be a good idea. He gives a small smile and nods."I would like to hear your story. The length of it is no matter. I've got nothing planned for today so I would enjoy listening to a story." Rin grins and moves to lay on Caderyn's back. He can't stop grinning as he can tell his big lump of a friend is definitely opening up.

"Well my story begins when my parents Prism and Dark Hellfyre, decided to have children. They had four daughters, and yes I see the irony of two males having four girls. Anyway my sisters and I were born. I never felt like I fit in though, I was a bit of a wild child.
One night I met another foal his name was Zedkiel, and he was a vampire, we talked and I decided to go with him. His father made me part of the family after I grew old enough and proved my loyalty. It was weird being one of the only azrein with a heart beat for a while, and they kind of shut down during the day. But I was so sure my place was there with Zedkiel. We were in love and were to have children, and they would have been beautiful.
But something happened and he disapeared, I left since there was nothing there for me anymore, In my travels back to my family, I found another mare who listend to me, she was sweet but too gentle. I rejoined my family and became the dutiful doting aunt to the horde of adorable crazy children my herd had produced in my absence. And now that they are grown I go out on forays like this.

Caderyn looks at Onyxa as she tells her tale. His thoughts going over details as she speaks. Her voice speaks in a rhythmic pace and he nods at points. He smiles and rubs her side with his muzzle. A sign of fondness coming from him. He looks ahead."Sounds like you have had quite a bit of adventures." He sighs and looks around."I have no idea whom my parents are. I was left with one of the elder members of my old herd and raise by the herd. I've always wanted children though. Someday I will. I just have to find the right mare that will put up with me. I am not one that is all lovey dovey.. I want someone with intelligence like myself. Someone I can talk to over a range of topics. I am not quite an affectionate stallion. My affection is on a smaller scale. "

"Well some stallions just don't figure out that a mare doesn't want to be plastered all the time, they don't always need to touch, but once in a while is nice. It seems your herd did a good job of raising you. I hope you find a mare who fits you properly, then you can both be there for your children and not disapear on them or each other."

Caderyn agree's with Onyxa as he himself thinks that stallions don't often get that it is the gestures that don't happen often that makes the greatest impression on mares. "On that I have to agree. Most stallions are not getting the advice needed to properly woo a mare. Nor do they seem to quite understand that gestures hold greater impressions when such gestures don't happen as often. It is a bit of a sad thought." He glances over at her and ponders over something as she speaks. He can tell that Onyxa has a level head on her shoulders and has similar wishes. He does like her though does she like him? Now that is a good question.
Rin lays on his back and glances at Onyxa." I think you two get along remarkably well. Though that is just my two cents." He prods at Caderyn's side with his tail trying to convey that he should say something. Caderyn swings his head around and nips at Rin's hair on his tail." I ask that you stop your prodding Rin. I know what you want. Patience is a virtue. Isn't that what you always tell me?" Rin blinks and grins."Why yes! Funny how you only say my words when you are using them against me." He is amused by Caderyn's use of his words.
Caderyn chuckles and looks at Onyxa."Onyxa, I was wondering perhaps if I could perhaps date you. If you are open to such a thought. I enjoy your company and I like you. Though I completely understand if you don't wish to. Considering that I would like to travel.Though I wouldn't mind a traveling companion too." He has to admit that he is nervous. Shifting his weight to the other side he waits for her answer.

"I think I would like that Caderyn. I find I am quite tired enough of being alone. And I am also quite okay with travel, as long as you are with me."
She gently brushed his side, happy to have found someone at last who might actually stay with her. It had been a long time, and though she still had feelings for the one that came before, this was better.

Caderyn did not expect to hear what he just heard. She agreed.. She just.. He is in shock as he didn't expect her to actually agree. Though then again she isn't like other mares. He can't stop the slight stutter from his voice."Of c-course I would be with you. Ugh.. Sorry.. I s-stutter when I am caught off-guard." He can feel warmth along his neck and cheeks as he takes some deep breaths to try to calm down and get to where he won't stutter.
Rin grins like a fool and lets out a hoot of laughter. "Why I'd ever! It's been forever since someone caught him off-guard and shocked him! Oooh! This is going to be so much fun!" He chuckles and perches on Caderyn's hindquarters.
Caderyn feels the brush against his side and gives a small smile. "Rin.. Don't make me buck you off. " The dragon smirks."Hey! Don't rain on my fun! Teasing you is just my job! And I don't have to ride on your back now ya big loaf!" Caderyn looks at his friend and rolls his eyes before nuzzling Onyxa once. "Mmm if he gets too annoying give him a n**. He'll stop... hopefully. As long as you will it, I will be here beside you to be your companion. I admit that you agreeing shocked me. But I am glad you did. " With that he moves to walk ahead moving to go out of this area with Onyxa.
