Her breath rattled, shallow and wet, as she braced herself for a turn, the semi taking an off-ramp off of the freeway and back into the city. With a small sound of dismay it was taking her back to the part of the city were this whole fiasco had started, an area dense in apartments and street level shops.
Luxor was in this area. Maybe not this exact area, but she knew he had to be around here somewhere, she had managed to slip out of his grasp, but that had not been a willing fact on his part, which meant he was probably enraged, looking for her somewhere, hunting her. Which meant it would not be long before he sense her powered signature.
Closing her eyes, as it to steel herself, she made up her mind. Waiting for the truck to slow, to make a turn, she rose to a crouch and lept off of the truck.
She knew she was hurt, but maybe she hadn't quite realized how hurt, some of her body having slipped into that wonderful sense of numbness that came with extreme injury. Shock. She was suddenly fully aware when, she landed, her legs simply crumpled beneath her. She needed to call for help, she needed someone to get her out of here, be for her deranged, brain-washed Luxor found her and snuffed out her life when she was to weak to do anything but simply let him complete his goal.
With a groan Teallite hauled herself to her feet, stumbling not once, but twice, as she got herself out of the road, dragging her feet around a corner to an area mostly used for an apartment buildings storage cubbyholes. She pressed her back against the brick, grateful for its support, and loathing it for the way it caused her shoulder to crunch and slide unnaturally under the pressure. With a whimper she slid to the ground, her legs sprawling before her.
She fished around in her pocket, pulling out her communication crystal, staring at it blankly for a few moments, her hand limp in her lap. She had to concentrate... She shook her head, attempting to clear the god that was taking over her mind, only to regret it as the brick buildings around her started to spin, and a fit of coughing overtook her. She coughed into her sleeve, the black material turning wet and coppery.
Was that blood...?
Well that isn't good.
It was the last thought that floated lazily through her mind before everything went black. She lost consciousness, slumped against the brick wall in a half abandoned alley of old storage unites. A short time later, at least something good happened. She powered down, her chaos signature hideing away back inside her, keeping her safe from any other wondering senshi hunting down the damaged agent. Her bear, long forgotten on the sidewalk by the alleyway disappeared, her crystal disappeared, and her black and lace uniform was replaced by pastel lace ruffles.
She looked almost like an abandoned doll, broken and crumpled against the brick wall, bleeding from a multitude of cuts on her legs, head, shoulder, her broken arm laid across her torso, the other hanging at an awkward angle. She hadn't even managed to call for help. She had simply just passed out, the only proof she was even still among the living the shallow wet sounds of her breathing.
