Hello everyone, I've been away for some time... I need to change that... And to keep myself more active around here instead of lurking, I am picking up an army that's been in their boxes for a while, my Eldar.

Here's what I finished last night, been working on them the past 1 or 2 weeks.

I know the Serpent "lacks" blue, but I am leaving this one without it, for now at least.

I will also return to the Wraithguard eventually for some Freehand/Transfers on their faces. I really want those runes on them!

C&C are always welcome!

It should appear before new years I believe, I'm aiming to get the troops finished first. smile

Next in line is another 5 Wraithguards, 1 Wave Serpent and 1 Spiritseer.

After that I hope to paint 5 Wraithguard with D-Scythes in a serpent and a Farseer.

Once my HQ/Troop basis is filled I'll aim my attention to 2 Wraithknights while painting 10 Wraithblades.

Did you use that wash-and-highlight technique you were mentioning a few months ago? It looks very good, nice simple theme, good for manageable army building.

What technique is that? I use something that involves washing and highlighting too that I learned off of youtube, this guy that did a video for the Assault on Black Reach unboxing was really good and his tutorial was real easy to follow. Which for someone not entirely skilled in painting was pretty neat.

I'm inspired by the simplicity... I'm going to try something similar with different washes on my Tyranids this weekend, we'll see how that goes. ninja

Are you going to add symbols, transfer or hand-done? It'd be good to add them as details so they don't look quite as bare.

Change of plans!

I will take onto the challenge to paint a Wraithknight and a Crimson Hunter this week... Since I need them in my tournament list this weekend.

It's important to get them finished, since I somehow managed to win a spot to the Swedish Championship (and playing Dark Eldar no less! Underdogs AWYISS!), and I decided to add PROPER anti-air and anti-riptide/tank... I will never EVER rely on "Dark Glances" ever again... :c
