Tristan, having grown seemingly overnight, had had to borrow a pair of jeans and a jacket from Timmy. The skitty hadn't minded, especially when his nephew had said he was going for gifts. Timmy was glad Tristan was finally beginning to accept his new family. "Are you sure you two are going to be warm enough?" He asked, tossing Fluff a scarf. "Looks like it could snow!"

Tristan smirked at his uncle's antics, pulling on his gloves. "You ready, Fluff?" He asked. "Uncle Timmy, you're not coming. How would we surprise you?"

Timmy grinned, taking a step back. "Oh no," he teased, "I'm not going. I've got Christmas cookies to bake with Krissy."

"Don't worry about that. I can handle it," Timmy assured Fluff with a smile. "As soon as Momma walks through that door, I'll have the fireplace roaring and hot chocolate ready to go with those cookies. And don't worry, we'll save some for you!" He reached out to ruffle Fluff's hair playfully. "Go on then!" He said. "Tris, you have my number. Call me if you guys have any trouble!"

Tristan took hold of Fluff's hand, beaming. "We'll have an adventure," he said as they walked out the door. "Every store we visit will be another world." Though he had grown, the minun teen still felt like a small boy. There were so many things he hadn't yet experienced!

"Which shop should we go to first?" Tristan asked with a smile, glancing at his brother. "Let's stop for something to eat later. I see a diner," he pointed with one gloved hand to the left. "We could stop there for a sandwich." He paused and nodded in agreement. "I know what you mean," he said. "I've never been any where on my own either. Its really exciting! Who knows what we'll find? Buried treasure? A pirate's cave? A princess in need of a prince?" As he said this, the teenager's eyes surveyed their surroundings.

"I don't see any princesses. Unless they're in disguise or cursed like Beast was!"

"Okay, we'll start here," Tristan agreed, cheerfully. "You look for something for your Momma, I'll look for something for Uncle Timmy and Krissy. He likes soft things and books. He told me he's getting good at sewing, but I think he needs to go out more. Maybe I'll get him something to do outside. I don't want him ending up a yarnie. You know someone who knits all the time, blegh. I wish I could find him a new true love for Christmas. But they don't sell boyfriends in stores. And even if they did, they wouldn't be guarenteed." He grinned at the thought. "Do you think he'll find someone soon?"

He picked up a teddy bear and studied it, before setting it down and shaking his head. "Do you think Krissy would like a doll?"

"I think she'd like that," Tris smiled at his brother. Fluff certainly seemed to know what Krissy would like, despite the mincinno having only lived with them for a short while. "What would you like?" He asked. "Maybe a new stuffed animal? Or an action figure? Something to play with." Maybe he would find Tania something too. While he doubted he would see her by Christmas, he wanted to buy her something. Something blue.

"I hope it doesn't take long," he said, glancing at Fluff. "I wish I could just go to a store and find him the perfect person. Someone who was made just for him. "What do you think Lucy would like?" He asked, picking up a book of fairytales and skimming through it.
